We pay our members between $and $10,to be a member (amount determined by the value of the member home when they join our program) Homeowners pay us $to join our program, $to be a member, $if they sell their home some day using any cooperating broker they choose among our more
than 5,cooperating broker offices across the USA, $if they never sell their home No homeowner has ever been asked to pay us one pennyNo homeowner has ever paid us one penny We, as a licensed real estate broker, enter into cooperating broker referral agreements with other brokersWe are in long term agreements with more than 1,real estate brokerages across the United States, comprising more than 5,000 offices, and in those offices are more than 250,licensed real estate agentsAmong our more than 1,000 contracted cooperating brokers are 70% of the largest brokerages in the United States (almost all of the other 30% are in states in which we are not active). We give our members cash benefits to spend on whatever they want to buy themselves, on average years before they sell their home! And they can keep it even if they never sell their home! When the home sells in the future, the cooperating broker pays us an industry standard referral fee, at $cost to our members We ALWAYS put our homeowner members, our clients, first, above all else The ‘penalty’ *** mentionsas stated above, we have never asked a homeowner to pay us one penny, and no homeowner has ever paid us one penny *** has already cashed her first Member Reward check we sent to her, for $100, and will receive an additional $from us, pursuant to the terms of her agreement with us*** was able to review the agreement with us before she entered into it in December of (is less than pages, no small text, some of which is in BOLD CAPS, is in very simple English, easy to understand, contains no legalese)*** has also had access to the agreement she entered since she joined the program more than two years agoOur website also explains our program very clearly Our system does reflect that we had a conversation with ***, on June 7, the same day ***’s friend also complained, with almost the identical libelous and statements *** has paid us $As stated above, if *** never sells her home, or sells it any time in the future she chooses, using any one of our Cooperating Brokers she chooses, or any broker not in our network who agrees to pay us our industry standard broker to broker referral fee, which would cost *** $0, *** never has to pay us one penny We are not terminating our agreement with *** which she entered into with us months ago ***’s statement that we are a scam is wrong, unfair, and libelous Thank you

It is confusing that Mr*** says he tried to contact us 'with no results', yet he also states he spoke with us December 17th.Mr*** apparently months ago spoke with an independent marketer about our program, not an employee of our company. An officer of our company will contact Mr*** and
will resolve this to our mutual satisfaction.Thank you
Per the consumer's request, we have cancelled her registration for the programContrary to her assertion, indeed the marketer with whom she spoke about our program is an independent contractor, and not an employee of our companyAs far as our company is concerned, this matter has been resolved
Mrs*** spoke with an independent marketerThe marketer she spoke with is NOT an employee of our company, and is not contracted by our company, and has no interaction with our companyThis complaint should have been filed against the
company employing the marketer who spoke with Mrs***No employee of our company had any interaction with Mrs***We have canceled her registration, removed her information from our system, and sent her an email confirming it was done, and apologized for any inconvenienceHomeowners pay $to join our program, pay $to be in our program, pay $for the gift cards we provide to themHomeowners simply agree to use a Cooperating Real Estate Broker the homeowner selects IF in the future they choose to sell their homeWhether in the future the homeowner chooses to and does sell their home using any Cooperating Real Estate Broker they select, or, if they NEVER sell their home, they never pay us anything, everMrs*** stated in her complaint "He told me that there was no obligation or penalty for getting the gift cards as long as I used one of the brokers if I sold my home." She further stated "He had me initial on his smartphone for myself and my spouse to sign up for the gift cards." These statements seem to conflict with her statement that she did not know she was entering into any kind of commitmentIn any case, her registration has been cancelled, and she has no obligation to us whatsoever

They have acknowledged ending my supposed registration in their Smart Homeowners Program and removing any data they have collected from their records.Having said this, I invite you (and anyone else) to examine the patronizing and insulting tone of their responseI NEVER registered for their program, and yet they deem it appropriate to lecture me about how I am a fool for missing out on their "wonderful" programI'm talking about fraud and they think the best response is trying to convince anyone who reads this complaint that I am somehow unhinged for not wanting to be under a contract that I have never even laid eyes uponHow about, "We're sorry, you did not in fact have a contract with us." This speaks volumes about the people who are running this company/programI would advise others to take heed
Sincerely,

To the answer the question raised by the company, I believe I was scammed because of the phone call I received prior to receiving the checkI never spoke with anyone prior to that call in reference, and it was extremely coincidental that I received a check saying that I signed up for this serviceI'm not saying your company is scamming people, I'm only referring to my situation and your partner who supposedly signed me up for the service.
Sincerely,

As a result of hearing concerns such as Ms*** has been kind enough to share with us, in the past we began to use a third party verification company who interviews (in a recorded phone call with the homeowners permission, which
""> we then archive and can easily access if needed in the future) every homeowner enrolling into our wonderful program for homeowners, to protect both our company and our valued homeowner members to be sure they know the few simple facts about our program, to confirm they reviewed our simple one page homeowner enrollment agreement and entered into it, and to confirm their identity.
Our wonderful homeowner program is free for homeowners to join, free for them to be a member, and if in the future they sell their home using their choice of the more than 5,cooperating broker offices in our national network, or if they never sell their home, they pay us $for the up to $2,or more in major brand gift cards or checks we send to them (their member rewards for being in our program)Our program provides valuable benefits to our homeowner members, for which they pay us $We pay our homeowner members between $and $10,for being a member, depending on the value of their homeHomeowners can only benefit by being in our program, while paying $to be in our programOne of our staff members left a phone message for Ms*** todayWhen she returns the call and we speak with her we will resolve any issues with her to her satisfactionThank you

Revdex.com: I have received the recent e-mail from this "company" through the Revdex.comI first question a company that deals with an "independent contractor marketer employed by a third party marketer (not by us)"whatever that means!
I understand the concept, though I certainly doubt the voracity of the individuals behind this company, with them just sending checks to peoples houses and seemingly to expect NOTHING in return but using one of THEIR cooperating brokersI don't know, it seems a little fishy to me.
I have always been told if it seems too good to be true, THAT'S BECAUSE IT IS!!! As for the name of the company, they should maybe consider another name such as the NAIVE HOMEOWNERS PROGRAMI say this because I certainly consider myself a SMART HOMEOWNER, one smart enough to not conduct business with a company that has independent contractors employed by third party marketers that work out of a supermarket!!!!!
In conclusion:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
