I booked flight from Toronto to New York the flight was 12:45 was cancelled without any notification from Expedia . I discover this my self at Toronto airport . Then they booked me for the next flight which was 17:20 then delayed again to 17:55 then delayed again to 18:20 then to 18:30 the last delayed was 19:15 . Waited with my family more than 6 hours in the airport . Called Expedia for any compensation for the time and loosing my important work conference call in New York . They said we can’t do nothing !!!!!!!

I booked 3 rooms in January with Expedia for a hotel in San Antonio, TX. The hotel was noted as a 3 star hotel but once we checked in, one room was dirty. It had food on the counter where someone ate lunch and the bed was not made. We were moved into another room. There were 3 families all together and we left soon as we checked in to our family Xmas party. Did not inspect rooms at that time but once we got back to sleep for the night, the "new" room given was also dirty. The bed sheets had hair all on the sheets very noticeable as the sheets are white and the hair was black. Called the front desk told them. no housekeeping available, was not offered another room. We were told to go downstairs to get new sheets to replace the dirty ones. No by this time in one of the other rooms one of the kids there found a bag with what appeared to be *** or *** or some sort of drug along with a pipe near their bed. Front desk just told us to dispose of them. No room or discount was offered.By this time its well over midnight and everyone was tired, ended up using a air mattress to sleep on. Next morning I reported yet again to hotel and they advise to leave name and number so manager could call back. Have yet to hear from anyone and Expedia will not help with the situation because their POLICY is non refundable room! Well I paid for a clean rooms and that is not what I got so now I get the run around from both the Hotel and Expedia of there is nothing they can do because its non-refundable! The hotel will not even take my calls and they have pictures of what we found and I put the review on their website. Its upsetting that Expedia will not fight for the right of the customer when clearly I should not have to pay for rooms that were extremely dirty. Or even at least offer a discount.

Expedia booked a room for $139 and later one for $125. I got the confirmation on the $125 room and not the more expensive one. Expedia called the hotel and wants me to know it was them and not expedia that chose to cancel the one with the confirmation to me and the cheaper rate.

Booked an economy flight, they booked me “basic economy”. They refuse to change or upgrade my flight unless I pay $400 for new flights. Me and countless customers are getting more and more money dragged out due to an issue on their end. Customer service reps are nasty and has me on hold for OVER an HOUR. No money returned nothing done.

When I try to unsubscribe from all advertising emails, clicking on the link does no good. I have tried three or four times to unsubscribe, but I keep getting their unwanted email advertisements.

Expedia, this is the second time I tried booking with you and my "booking failed" and you can't find my reservation anywhere however you took the money out of my bank account. There is "nothing you can do for me but to wait until the funds show up in my account again". So here I am waiting for who knows how long until I am re-reimbursed for my "hold" on my money. So now I am *** for booking a vacation until that money comes back in and who knows what the price change will be when that happens. And I couldn't talk to a manager because your "policy is that without a confirmation number you are unable to talk to management" That's such crap and you know it. The customer service you supply is very bad and I was not offered any compensation what so ever at all. Just told to wait until my money comes back.

I just had the most horrible experience in my life!!!! I tried to book a flight through Expedia I entered all my information, and received a message with regards to connecting flight. I never received a flight confirmation, but the monies were debited off my card. I tried to dispute because I just cannot understand as to why my card will be deducted any monies if according to Expedia the "transaction" did not go through. When I called Expedia they could not give me any information as to what went wrong., and stated it was my bank. My bank was not the problem, but I now have to wait 3 business days to get my 815 dollars back! the Expedia supervisor suggested to try with a credit card so I did just that. And guess What??? It happened AGAIN! I also tried to book with an Expedia agent, and guess what???? It happened again! NOW I HAVE PENDING CHARGES IN BOTH MY DEBIT AND CREDIT CARD WITH NO ONE ABLE TO GIVE ME A LOGIC EXPLANATION AS TO WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!! I will never want anyone to experience what I have experienced with Expedia!

I was booking a trip to South America. During the last step at checkout the price updated and doubled. On a hunch, I deleted my browse history and cookies and tried again. This time everything worked without a hitch. Thinking back, while I was reaserching, the prices were conveniently increasing. I thought it was just the market. Pretty shady buisness practice. I found others on the web with the same experience. How is this even legal?

As read in earlier reviews, would rate Expedia a "0" if I could. Just like *** dated 1/7/2019, I too received a message of price increase when trying to book a flight. I had gone through the whole info process, pressed button to pay, and message pooped up, "We hate when this happens...The price of your trip changed from $538.58 to $868.60 per ticket." THAT'S A $330 PRICE JUMP!!! The mere fact that they have a message with this language proves that this is an established practice! Exited site as fast as I could and went to ***, who had the exact same flights at the price I had started with at Expedia. Will NEVER even consider Expedia as a credible business again! Am sharing my experience with everyone I can to let the truth be known. As *** on 1/7/2019 questioned, I too would like to know why the Revdex.com doesn't use Customer Reviews in the calculation of the Revdex.com rating. ALL information should be considered. Why have this avenue if it's not going to be considered??? We look to the Revdex.com for guidance. With the terrible business practices described here, the Revdex.com appears to be way off the mark on Expedia. Now I'm questioning the Revdex.com's reliability. Expedia's history deserves a "0" star rating - and mocks the distinguished designation of an A+ rating. Expedia SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!!!!!

Very efficent booking and even revisions were done efficently. Important to note that airline tickets may be the lowest price but will not include choosing seats, bag fees, etc. You may do better directly from the airline. They sold us airport transfers from a company with poor reviews as well. Their price guarantee for hotels does not apply if you booked a package including airfare. Would have done better booking separately thru their our company hotels.com.

Bo and his crew did a wonderful jobA storm knocked over a huge tree which was being held up by my fence and shedHis crew was very careful to remove the tree in order to salvage our shedThe crew was courteous and made sure we were happy with the job and cleanup before leavingI would definitely recommend

On the day before our international flight, we received an email from expedia informing us that *** (don't ever make the mistake of flying with them) is going to charge us for our checked luggage. If we had known that ahead of time, we never would have booked that flight. Not only that, but *** did not honor our seat purchase and sold our seats to another customer. Now that expedia knows how unhappy I was with their service, they are claiming that the trip was cancelled, so they don't have to bear responsibility for any help they can give me, or refund anything I overpaid. They don't even have to take responsibility for their bad service by claiming the flights were cancelled.
On another international trip last year, expedia failed to inform us that the connecting flight from Madrid to Malaga was cancelled. The check-in agent had to scramble to find us a flight to Malaga and we almost were not able to find seats for both of us.

Really nasty experience when you have a problem I did a reservation via expedia , the soon I want to cancel before 18 hours, expedia just tell me that the reservation is done by someone also, no support, I wasnt able to cancel lost around 390 dollars I just got over 9000 in ticket purchasing trought expedia, really bad, I will never use this company again I can not believe still as A+ when their had a 1 start becasue is a bad support

Booked an international hotel reservation through them. It was cancelled without notifying me and we were left without accommodation. They took no responsibility and instead wasted hours of my time on the phone. Horrible customer service.

Expedia are crooks. They refuse to provide me an itemization of taxes and fees. They devalued our tickets after purchasing. I had to cancel two out of five tickets because my chidren cant make the trip. I bought the useless insurance and it did nothing. I lost over $1050.00!!!!! They are dishonest, and misleading. Terrible terrible company. Thirdpary everything. They are nothing but a middleman. I will dedicate the rest of my life to ridding the market of such bogus businesses such as this one.

Tried booking flights to Hawaii through Expedia and every time we would try to book we would receive a message saying that the price went up. Tried on a different computer and had the same issue. Even tried buying with the updated price but another message said that the fares went up. First, inceased by around $400 from the original price. Then $800 over the original price, then $1200 over. Every time the information was the same and there were no fewer seats left on the plane. Talked to a manager at Expedia and he hung up on us. Ended up booking from the another site with a cheaper price. Very unprofessional and deceptive. Will never attempt to use Expedia again.

Buyer beware, they changed our flights from Oregon to London twice for me and my wife's trip. Not only did they change our flight but they booked us on two different flights, arriving at different times and days the first time. The second booking they changed, not only extended our stay by two more days, but also excluded the business class seating for me going both ways. We had this, as I am 6-5 and like a little more leg room, and paid for it. they refuse to refund the upgraded charge we paid at the first booking for this. The supervisor said there is nothing they can do?? Sounds as thou these reviews really don't matter, as all of these complaints still show an A+ on the Revdex.com. They should be shut down with all of these complaints.

Will never use Expedia again...they use a Bait and Switch telling you that they price match and actually really never do. They say the insurance is listed on their website, but actually is not. They will not refund any money to me, even though the airline tickets dropped over $125 per ticket for my kids and myself. I don't know how these people can sleep at night knowing they are complete liars and thieves.

Price match guarantee is deceiving. Please read it carefully before booking. For Expedia.ca it is now apparently only for stand alone hotel bookings. If you book your hotel with a flight they will not give you the price match. We booked with them because of the price match guarantee. We got several different stories when we called about it. Their phone support is rude and doesn't want to give their name. The difference in price for our package on their website was almost $500.00. Be careful with them!

Like everyone else if possible I would rate them a 0. I booked two flights and a protection plan all separately with Expedia. I cancelled the protection plan and they cancelled one of my flights and the flight that they cancelled wasn't the flight that was attached to the protection plan. Now they are trying to tell me that I have to pay to book a new flight for a mistake they made. And giving me the run around for why the flight was cancelled and how there was no error on their end but I have a confirmation email from them stating that the only thing I cancelled was the protection plan which I emailed to them then they changed the story and gave me two more stupid excuses that made no sense. I never got an email confirmation stating any one of my flights were cancelled. I will NEVER use Expedia to book ANYTHING again. They are a horrible company they left me on hold for 2 hours hoping that I'd hang up. cheaper isn't always the best deal. Expedia needs to be sued and put out of business.
