( This is a perplexing response, has this company even read my complaint ? I AM A VICTIM OF ID THEFT, this company was to block fraud related items, after they received my notice and ID THEFT report the ignored my requested and did not block the items and thereby violated the FCRA. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO VERIFIY THEY HAVE BLOCKED EACH AND EVERY FRAUD RELATED ITEM MENTIONED IN MY CORRESPONDENCE AND ID THEFT REPORT AND POLICE REPORT, both of which I already sent them. Again I am attaching the Police report the FTC ID THEFT REPORT along with correspondence addressed to Transunuion that has the list of fraud related items. TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE TRANSUNION NEEDS TO BLOCK THE ITEMS LISTED IN THE ATTACHED LETTERS WITHIN 4 BUSINESS DAYS AS REQUIRED BY LAW ]

May 3, 2016Bettes Business Bureau Serving San Diego, Orange and Imperial Counties 4747 Viewridge Ave., #200San Diego, CA 92123RE [redacted] Complaint ID #[redacted]REF# [redacted]Dear Revdex.com.Our office recently received your correspondence of April 25, 2016 regarding the above mentioned consumer's rebuttal of our response to her complaint. An Extended Security Alert has been added to the consumer's credit report. This message, which will expire after 7 years, alerts credit grantors to verify the consumer's identification in case someone is using their information without their consent. We are currently investigating the inquiries with which the consumer disagrees. Upon completion of this process, we will provide the results of our investigation directly to the consumer.Regarding the [redacted], this account appears as an account in good standing with no late payments being reported. We have added the statement "Account closed by consumer's request" however, the creditor did not report this account as closed. To ensure that the account is closed, you will need to notify the credit grantor in writing if you have not already done so. The addresses of your credit grantors are located on your original personal credit report. Creditors are obligated by law to report your account as closed once you ask them to close the account.Regarding the [redacted] our records indicate that we have previously investigated this account on 4 occasions. On 01/05/2012, 02/19/2012 and 03/29/2012 the account was disputed as "never late”. On 07/13/2014 the account was disputed as “not mine due to identity theft". At that time, we contacted the creditor and provided copies of the ID Theft Police report provided in 08/2012 and his written dispute. As outlined in Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Section 605B (c), (1), (C), We informed the consumer at that time that based on our review of the request and the information available to us, we had determined that he obtained possession of goods, services, or moneys as a result of the transaction(s) that he was seeking to block. Therefore, we declined the request to block the account. We also requested additional relevant information that indicated that the account was a result of identity theft, if available.According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), a national consumer credit reporting agency's role in the dispute process is to review the accuracy and completeness of any disputed item which may include contacting the furnisher of the information or the vendor that collected the information from a public record source, such as a court or other government office, notifying them of the disputed information and disclosing all relevant information regarding the consumer's dispute. In order to help resolve the consumer's dispute, Experian will review all relevant documents submitted by the consumer with the dispute and will forward such documents to the furnisher if Experian is unable to resolve the issue based on those documents.Consumers may also contact creditors directly to dispute items reported by the creditor. If the issue is not resolved, then the consumer credit reporting agency must offer to include a consumer statement on the personal credit report.Thank you for allowing me to assist you. Please contact me directly if you have any questions.Sincerely,[redacted] Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate Consumer Affairs Special Services [redacted]
There is a child support account on my credit report that is reported as open and is not open. I have contacted the [redacted]ement office in [redacted] and they told me they do not verify information to the credit bureaus. how can this account be on my credit report then? It says that "This item remained unchanged from our processing of your dispute in Mar 2016" but then shows the date of status as may 2012 which shows me that no real investigation was really done.Desired Outcome: please delete child support account number [redacted] from my credit report.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
A formal dispute with copies of my drivers license and social security card for verification of identification was sent to this agency via certified mail. My dispute clearly outlined each account disputed, as well as the account number (if provided in their report) as well as the reported amount due. As per the FCRA, my letter clearly requested that if an account was not removed from my report that they provide the name, address, & phone number of the person they verified the information with. Their response was simply the same copy of my credit report with not investigation information. This is detailed in the FCRA and is common with credit reporting agencies to report inaccurate information. The only acceptable resolution is to remove the accounts disputed as they have failed to follow the law. Anything less will result in legal action against the agency.
Regards,
