June 21, 2016Revdex.com Serving San Diego, Orange and Imperial Counties 4747 Viewridge Ave., #200San Diego, CA 92123RE. [redacted] Complaint # [redacted] Ref # [redacted]Dear RevDex.com.Thank you for your recent correspondence dated June 20, 2016, regarding your client. Our records indicate that we previously conducted an investigation regarding the disputed information on the following dates. June 8, 2016, May 26, 2016, March 9, 2016, March 2, 2016, February 22, 2016, December 9, 2013, and April 28, 2013. On each and every occasion the data furnisher for CIT verified the accuracy of the reporting and we have provided the results of our investigation directly to the consumer. This will remain on file for seven years from the original delinquency date that lead up to the charge off, February 2012.Each national consumer credit reporting agency may interpret the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act differently and each company has their own policies and guidelines for disputing information. Therefore, we cannot update or delete information in our database based on the results of a dispute with another consumer credit reporting agency nor can we dispute information for a consumer with another consumer credit reporting agency. If the consumer disagrees with the results of the reinvestigation, it is the consumer's legal right, under the FCRA, to add a 100-word statement specifying the nature of their dispute. The statement will appear with the item as long as the item remains on the credit report. Any further concerns regarding the disputed information may need to be directed to the data furnisher reporting this information. If you have any additional supporting documentation regarding the disputed information, please forward that to my attention for review.According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), a national consumer credit reporting agency's role in the dispute process is to review the accuracy and completeness of any disputed item which may include contacting the furnisher of the information or the vendor that collected the information from a public record source, such as a court or other government office, notifying them of the disputed information and disclosing all relevant information regarding the consumer's dispute. In order to help resolve the consumer's dispute, Experian will review all relevant documents submitted by the consumer with the dispute and will forward such documents to the furnisher if Experian is unable to resolve the issue based on those documents. Consumers may also contact creditors directly to dispute items reported by the data furnisher. If the issue is not resolved, then the consumer credit reporting agency must offer to include a consumer statement on the personal credit report. Thank you for allowing me to assist you. Please contact our office if you have any questions.Sincerely,[redacted] Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate Consumer Affairs Special Services 214 726 [redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The response from Experian states that the disputed information does not appear on the current Experian report. Although that assertion may be true (I have yet to receive the report), I decided to further investigate the issue, and opened an account at experian.experiandirect.com so that I would have access to the most recent Experian report. Is Experian, the company answering to my dispute, affiliated with experian.experiandirect.com in any way? If so, I'm a bit confused about the difference between a "paper" report produced by Experian, versus an "Electronic" report I viewed today at experian.experiandirect.com.  Shouldn't these reports be the same?  As per the attached screenshot from experian.experiandirect.com, it clearly shows that my credit report with Experian reflects a Public Record (the account number on said site is an exact match with the account number provided on the original dispute)  that, as per information found within said website, is negatively affecting my credit and FICO score. Please clarify.I'm also attaching two other screenshots; one from [redacted] Monitoring and the other from [redacted] that clearly show Experian reporting the disputed information. I contacted both [redacted] Monitoring and [redacted] to dispute the validity of the disputed information, and I was informed that the information listed on their website was received directly from Experian. Is this true? Please clarify. Regards,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID...

[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The credit reporting company has not removed the information as stated in there document ( [redacted]) I have sent all laws and documents and they continue to say verified and now want to have a conversation to discuss there letter in writing that they sent me. The only action I will except is the information deleted on there files and web site. Experian is not a honest agency . They have been sued in the past and lost with the federal government taking actions against there agency for dishonest pratice. They have effected my lively hood and still are till this day with this incorrect information.1/31/18: The information after further review has 1 more incorrect statement. [redacted] has a account on my credit report that has been paid in full and closed. Experian is reporting it as paid settlement that never made it to a collection company or agency. I called [redacted] and I quote, they said Experian has a pratice of reporting information to keep people in certain situations and had no idea why Experian would say a negative statement that is not reporting anywhere else. I had write letters and Experian always says verified with no written proof from any clients showing I have accounts or ever had accounts or been late with any payments or anything. I'm at 700 + with the other agencies and 500 with EXPERIAN. My next step is to hire a Attorney to sue Experian and need to finish with step with the Revdex.com and Federal government.
