Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:FedLoan Servicing has done absolutely nothing to resolve my issue with them. I was forced to place my account into forbearance due to not being able to pay a monthly fee of over $2400 (which I was told was charged because my income based repayment expired (which I was NOT notified about (I have since become concerned that my mail have been stolen as I am also missing other critical pieces, such as a new drivers license))). Anyway, I filled out a forbearance request. I called a few days later because my loans were still listed as "delinquent" and I was informed that the employee who filled out the initial forbearance form did not do it properly. So then I requested forbearance a second time! Not only had FedLoan Servicing done nothing to help the issue (of capitalizing interest and charging over $10,000 of additional interest to my account due to my IBR expiring), they fail to even properly take the steps that I have requested for basic damage control! It is now my understanding that my account is in forebearance until December (when I can restart my IRB payments - I've been told that I cannot until then even though I want to immediately), yet I am also recieving harrasing emails saying that I am still deliquent! Incredible! FedLoan Servicing's letter mentioned something about a person named Jared who is dealing with my case, I have never heard from such a person. FedLoan Servicing is comiting criminal behavior, and as I said before I would like the over $10,000 of capitalized interest that they are charging to my account removed.

Whitney Hanan

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I have spent hours on the line with Fedloan servicing attempting to gain an understanding of why it takes 60+ for correspondence on any particular needs regarding servicing my account. If I request an Income Based repayment plan for all of my loans, that is what I would like. I have made countless calls which can easily be accessed by FedLoan and resolve the issues with my account. They have yet to provide me with any written documentation as stated in the original response to my complaint. I reached out to FedLoan today and it was proven that upon submitting my application November 29, 2015, my final IBR plan was completed May 03, 2016 after numerous applications submitted due to change in processes/policies and specifically, the change in the form used to complete the application. It does not take 3 applications to be completed to process one IBR request. It took 6 months to complete a process that takes less than 30 days. I also spoke with the representative on Dec 20, 2015 and he insured that the all of my loans were processed using the IBR program. This can be easily proven by reviewing the call. This has yet to take place and I am suffering the consequences of the incompetence of employees that are not knowledgeable in completing the process I requested. Regards,

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
While I see that Fed Loan Servicing says that borrower experience advocate Mikell would be contacting me and that sounds nice, it is the same sort of thing the company has been telling me every time I have contacted them over the past months. I have not, in fact been contacted by borrower experience advocate Mikell but the company has upped the ante by sending me a letter today threatening to report my "delinquency" to the credit bureaus if I don't pay immediately. Also, they have increased the amount they say I owe them to over $11,000. This is pretty much the same they have been doing and what I expect. I have attached the most recent letter from them to this email.

Had this been fixed when I bought it to the attention of Naveen in 2014 … it would not have this problem today. The responses from Fedloan Servicing has been repetitious …. Maybe this will add a big push to get to the bottom of this ongoing problem… [redacted] and Fedloan Servicing has paperwork from the files from the government [redacted] Servicing and My college [redacted] College showing I ONLY signed for loans totaling 20,000 unsubsidized and 23,000 subsidized there is NO way I will pay OR be responsible for $88,000.00 OR $125,000.00…  I totally am grateful for the help from the Revdex.com …. I really appreciate your organization…. Please continue to help me … Thank you,            [redacted]New York , NY [redacted]###-###-####
