[redacted] was a pleasure to work with and resolved all issues quickly and effectively.

Just by reading these reviews had gotten me more & more sceptical about this TechMatrix Co. At first I told myself I should look into this company first before I gave them my card & personnel info. But being that these people had mentioned The Revdex.com, I came to belief that TechMatrix was very legit & they made it seem that they were part of The Revdex.com. So I had a bit of relief. Then I had 2nd thoughts and decided to look them up to see if it was a scam before they made a scheduled debit out of card the next day. After reading the reviews, I could relate to all of them. I remember this all went down late at nite and was very weird the way it went down. Reminded me of the movie Enemy of State. They totally took over my computer right in front of me. They did fix my computer and I thought it was a good job. But the way they did it was very spooky. After reading about the company, how The Revdex.com reviews that, TechMatrix is not an affiliate, I remembered howTechMatrix had brought up the Revdex.com, I guess kinda reversed pyschologized me. That really got me skepticalized! Anyway, I totally cancelled my card, awaiting a new one, then I called TechMatrix and just said I want to cancel the order before they attempt to debit my card. I was questioned about the contract cancellation and I explained that I just wanted to cancel and that I was not certain about the whole thing. I didnt want to argue, but they kept saying that I signed and gave authorization. I told them listen, Im a customer that would just like to cancel before I get debited. And would like a receipt cancellation sent to me please. Now next step is to find a local computer tech, to advise me of safety concerns and issues. They did fix my computer in a weird way, but I do not know if they added anything to it.Thats what bugs me. And when they mentioned about sum kinda affiliation with The Revdex.com, and I had read the reviews what The Revdex.com had mentioned, I had a feeling something is not right. So I would BEWARE and always take precautions of dealing with people or companies you do not know of. Always take the time in finding out reviews about uncertainties from at least someone you known

We received a pop up that appears to be from our internet service provider requesting we contact their Microsoft-Certified technician. I called the number to get the company name which was, Techmatrix Infosolutions. We then called our internet service provider who advised they did not send the pop up and they do not work with TechMatrix. We then closed the pop up and ran scans which determined there was nothing wrong with the computer! TechMatrix obtained our internet service provider's info from our IP address and therefore fraudulently represented themselves as our internet service provider by sending the pop up to sell services to fix a computer which was perfectly fine. Legal action should take place, we sent a copy of the pop up to our internet service provider to file suit.

Like the others, I called this company because I had an urgent message pop up on my laptop that I had a virus. A moment later, the message started talking to me, saying my computer was infected and I had to call immediately. When I called, the gentleman sounded like he was in India. He did not answer in the name of my computer company.
He first assumed I had another type of computer, until I told him it was a Mac. Scared (and foolish), I gave him access to my computer - after all, [redacted] had told me to call him, right? As he accessed my desktop, he asked who was the man in a picture on the desktop. That was my first clue that this was not on the up-and-up. I told him that was none of his concern and had nothing to do with a potential virus, and he apologized. Not feeling right about the situation, I asked for the name of his company, which he gave me (Tech Matrix Info. Solutions). I quickly looked it up on my phone and saw the F rating with the Revdex.com and all of the scam notices elsewhere.
I told him to leave my computer alone, shut it down, and hung up as fast as I could. Caveat emptor. I would not advise doing business with this company or any of its aliases.

I was scammed by TechMatrix. I fell for their trickery and was out almost $300.00. They promised a refund within 7-10 days, and that did not happen. Please stay away from this company and tell others to not call their number if their for any reason. I do not understand how these thieves are allowed the freedom to work in our country and take advantage of hard working individuals.

Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]
The business has responded by offering to refund the total amount that they charged in the amount of $208.48 by issuing a refund check by certified mail. I have absolutely no confidence in this response. If they are fully responsible for issuing me a refund it should be done via a credit to the credit card charge that they put on my account at the time of the interaction. The should be done immediately. The immediate response of full refund without explanation from them or defense of their charge of fee for service indicates that I was correct in my assumption that the entire transaction was fraudulent and an online scam. I would like to have the business immediately cancel out the credit the credit card charge for this false claim of services rendered. This will not be resolved until full refund is issued and received from the business to me. There is no credibility in the promise of refund via certified mail. I hope this can be fully resolved in a timely manner.

Dear [redacted], If you are disputing through your credit card company, than I will stop the check, since than we have to go first via charge back process and let see where that leads. I am not sure if you are aware, but it can happen that you get your funds back or not, since it is up to your credit card provider to make this decision. Once you start this process, we have to send a response to you credit card company. This process can last up to 2 months.
