This company trains it's reps to lie cheat and steal from their customersThey get access to your bank account and then you cannot stop them from taking moneymonths after running $in credit card charges and after they charged me over $to do so I had another charge of $I have to close my bank account to stop themIt has been a horrible nightmare of a situation and I question exactly how the Revdex.com is able to rate a company with out of reviews negative as A+I don't feel the Revdex.com itself truly cares about protecting consumers

Deceptive sales practicesSalesperson called and claimed they would like us to fill out an application to see if they could lower our credit card processing feesTurns out it was a sham contractThey shipped out a processing terminal which we never even opened out of the box and began debiting our account for minimum monthly fees, even though we have never processed a single transaction through themWhen we called to dispute it, they said too bad

First American is harassing me for payment of a credit card machine I NEVER agreed to nor RECEIVED My husband's business small pizza business processes credit cards and a sales representative from app star promised that our business would save a year if we signed up with his company - First american is the ach company affiliated with them Long story short - we currently lease a credit card machine and in our contract the representative was supposed to re-program our current leased machine He did not! He screwed up our machine and left and I then canceled in writing our contract - prior to first american EVER processing any ACH transactions After canceling the contract, we received calls and letters from first american - -threatening calls that because we cancelled we had to pay a $cancellation fee (very small writing in the contract) I DID PAY THE $- I have a letter stating that we are done with them and do not have any fees due Now I am being harrassed by

We have used First American for over years Our rep is local They have always done exactly what they say they will do Erin our rephas been with us this entire years and we could not ask for anyone better Over the year many different processors have claimed to be better however in the end they are not

I attempted to cancel my contract with the merchant services regarding my credit card machineI know my contract is up in July Their customer care advised I was auto-renewed for an additional year contractI did not sign nor agree to another year contractThey add fees without my notifying me and withdraw additional funds without proper notification They are claiming I have to pay $plus dollars to get out of my contract They force you to register with www.***.com to avoid an additional feesI will have already been with the company for three yearsThat's three years too long
They charge a monthly fee of $with an annual $feeThis is highway robbery

This company claims that I broke the terms of my contract by improperly cancelling my contract It is a credit card processing company that I have been a customer in good standing since July I recently started using a new processor online and wanted to stop my processing with this old companyI called the company and they instructed me in how to cancel my contractI followed their instructions faxing them a letter of intent to cancel within the required days prior to the automatic renewal set for July 14th They claim that they did not get this letter in the proper office and that I was being charged $for early terminationI had spoken with the office person and she confirmed that indeed this letter had arrived
I had paid the monthly fee of $64+ for several months even though I was not using their service because of the July termination dateUnfortunately for the final payment my bank returned the charge unpaid and rather than notify me of the return to give m

We never contracted with First American but their services sounded goodI had recently purchased new credit card machines and told them I didn't want to pay for new onesThey said no problem they would furnish us with two machinesWe received then and plugged them in and began using them until we got our first statementAll of the things they promised were not trueWe noticed that they had charged us approx $for each terminalWe also noticed that the rates they promised were very much higher than the told usIn fact almost everything they said was untrueWe called them and cancelled immediatelyI asked where they wanted us to send the machines back toThey never respondedA little later they took from my account without my permission $and $I guess for the machinesI looked on Amazon and they are $each This is a total of nearly $for about a month of services to which they were handsomely paid with the exorbitant fees they chargedI put a stop p

The company was notified two years ago that the church I serviced was shutting down and our monthly online giving account was no longer neededTwo years later I received a series of harassing phone calls from First American where they were telling me that I personally owe them for past due servicesThe church no longer exists and First American's services haven't been used in yearsThey are harassing me for a debt I do not personally owe on an account that was shut down years ago

I opened an account with First American Payment Services on or around August and ended my service with them on Sept 14th I went with a different credit card processing because they do not charge $service charge a month I run a small business and that amount would hurt I called and told First American I need to cancel my service at the end of September I noticed First American took out another $Service Charge for October I called them to complain but they said I needed to send in a closure letter I complained that I did not even sign an open letter but figured it was a tactic used to slow the process of closing my account I sent in a closure letter but they called me once they received it and wanted to re-negotiate the percentages I declined and told them I wanted the service charge reimbursed to my account and they threatened to charge me $in an early termination fee I never signed a contract which states about the termination fee I also received

My experience with this company is frustration The rep (who doesn't follow up with his customers), to the toll free # of a guy who lied about our cancellation date No counting that when our equipment broke they said it would be $when we were paying a monthly premium for insurance on the equipment The rep referred to the toll free numbers employees as peons What a guy
Run find someone reputable

RUN if this company calls you, unless you don't mind being ripped offI used this company for week did transactions and was charged $for monthly feesMy contract says $per month Plus they sent me different credit card swipers for cell phones that did not workI have left messages and haven't received a call backI want my money backI have no faith in a company that can screw up this fast

Merchant Rep came in to store to offer product and did not give right pricing and hidden charges for serviceWas told by the rep that I had months to see if I like the payment processing or I could cancel the service, I was dissastisfied with the service so I chose to close account, after that I received another fee for $for a cancellation fee that the reps had explained would not be there if I closed within months

+1

Worst company on earth!!! don't ever sign a lease for their equipment even if the merchant processor tells you it is a month to month agreement that can be canceled at anytime The merchant processor gave me all sorts of promises in writing and it didn't do a bit of good when they failed to uphold their side of the deal They charged more than they said they would and when I canceled I thought everything was taken care of but no I kept getting charged $60-$per month for a couple of years I finally had enough seeing as I had already over the time paid $for a card reader that cost less than $to buy I had my bank put a stop payment on them and the next thing I know they changed the debit name slightly so it would go through and stole $on top of what I had already paid without my approval or any warning It seriously impacted my business as I had not budgeted for that type of a hit When I did a search on the internet I found they had done the same thing to

What a scam, they sell you a machine that has a 1year manufacturer warranty, but then claim it only has a day warranty We purchased a mobile processing unit an ingenico iWLin August of Ingenico clearly states the unit has a year warranty, however, First American will not honor the warranty stating it only has a day warranty The chip reader stoped working months from sale The company has not been helpful in supplying any information on how to return the unit to the manufacturer I called in and asked to speak with a manager, and instead they forwarded me to my ISO or "payment facilitator"
So not only will they not honor the manufacturer's warranty, they will not help getting the unit repaired under warranty at all And to boot, when you ask to speak to a manager they just transfer you around Buyer beware!!!

IM ASKING FOR THE FULL AMOUNT REFUND OF $FOR THE CREDIT CARD MACHINE THAT THEY SOLD ME AND NEVER WORKED ALSO ASKING FOR THE REFUND OF THE SIX MONTHS THAT I WAS CHARGED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $THAT WAS $PER MONTH FOR A SERVICE THAT I WAS NOT ABLE TO USE BECAUSE I WAS NEVER ABLE TO GET CUSTOMER SERVICES HELP TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUEI WAS ABLE TO GET AHOLD OF ONE PERSON HER NAME IS CINTHIA AND SHE GAVE ME ALEX FONCIS NUMBER WHICH IS THE SALES MAN WHO SOLD ME THE SERVICE HE CLAIMED THAT HE WAS THE MANAGER OF THE COMPANYI CALLED HIM SEVERAL TIMES UNTIL TODAY I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM ANYONE FROM THIS COMPANYALSO IM ASKING A DISSOLUTION OF A CONTRACT THAT I NEVER AGREED AND THEY ARE CLAIMING I HAVE A YEAR CONTRACT WITH THEMWHEN I TALKED TO ONE OF THE REPRESENITVES THEY TOLD ME IF I CANCELLED THE CONTRACT THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE OF AROUND $WHEN I FIRST TALKED TO ALEX FONCI WE SPECIFICALLY TALKED ABOUT THERE NOT BEING NO CONTRACT ON THIS SERVICE HE SOLD ME

We started an E-commerce website with Altiras technologies as our on line store agent They were to supply an on line gateway for charging customers and the actual store interface for our website As well as mobile pay swipers we were sent an agreement of terms through our agent from Altiras and then we were contacted by their sub contracted Store management company GO-E merchant which was actually First American They sent additional contracts to sign that were different than our original agreement with Altiras We were assured by Altiras that the original terms were still in place and they had a "Special arrangement" with First American After using the companies services for days we came to realize that the fees for the service were just to high As per our original Altiras agreement, we were able to cancel our service with no cancellation fees We still have this agreement if needed when we canceled the service, First American wants to charge us $fee Altiras

I originally had an account with First American Payment though some other sales rep and closed that when another sales Company (they go under several different names I found out) offered less cost to meThe new company(actually the same FAP) then refused to honor the repayment of the closing charge I used the new company until my store no longer needed a credit card service ,then canceled with FAP, I now find out they want me to honor the five year contract even though they will not be providing any type of service. They have threatened my credit and state they will sueEthicial ,honorable, business people they are notI now find that all the forms, contracts, or any other material has been carefully written to make sure all the bases are covered for themTheir employees have been less than helpful when called (no return calls either)and the loss prevention people are just jerksThey operate in some pretty nice digs in Fort Worth so I would assume they have some good contacts with the folks who could control this type of businessThe reviews on line and with the Revdex.com both show how bad this company is, question the A + rating, must have been gotten with money , sure is a black eye for the state of Texas, Do not do business with this company and check on the names carefully as now I am getting letters from a Compay called Merimac Capital claiming the money due is for the credit card machine that I offered to send back ,but they really don't want it back, they make more money getting it from their former customer

I Was approached by a third party “Merchant services” representative in regards to being overcharged by my current card processorsPromised better rates and asked me to fill out preliminary paperwork to find better rates with another processorProcessor turned out to be First American Payment SystemsI never spoke with any representative from F.AFilled out paperwork and sent it expecting a rep to contact me to talk about contracts, etc and never didHad processing equipment sent to me and was asked to call a personal number for a tech to help install itWhen installing it, a red flag went up when the equipment wasn’t compatible to my Point of Sale systemWhen I called my rep at my POS company, she put me on the phone with the owner who in turn was concerned I was being scammed due to fhe lack of communication between systems and with the actual company, etcI was advised to shut it down, close my bank accounts and file a police report amongst other precautionsI filed the rep
