INSURED WAS IN ON 10/4/FOR A RENEWAL REWRITE FREEWAY WAS CONTACTED REGARDING AN ADDED VEHICLE ON 10/13/ BEING THAT THE POLICY WAS WAS JUST REWRITTEN , PROCEDURES IS TO TAKE A DEPOSIT FOR CHANGES THAT WILL CAUSE AN INCREASE SO CLOSE TO AN EFFECTIVE DATE WE TOOK A DOWN PAYMENT OF $175($TO COMPANY $TB) ENDORSMENT AND TOW PACKAGE SIGNED AND DISCUSSED WITH CLIENT INSURED CALLED ON 10/30/IN REGARDS TO BILL RECEIVED FROM COMPANY FOR $WE ADVISED INSURED IN ORDER TO FINANCE THE INCREASE WITH [redacted] A DOWN PMT OF $ID REQUIRED ( WE ALREADY HAVE $APPLIED FROM 10/13/17) $WILL NEED TO BE COLLECTED INSURED CAME IN ON 11/3/ TO PAY THE $TO FINANCE THE AP OF $ THE INSURED WAS NOTIFIED THAT DATE OF THE NEW PAYMENT AMOUNTS OF $WHICH INCLUDED THE ADDED VEHICLE I GAVE THE INSURED A COPY OF THE [redacted] CONTRACT SO SHE FULLY AWARE OF THE NEW PAYMENT AMOUNT INSURED WAS ADVISED THE DUE DATE FOR HER MONTHLY PAYMENTS WILL ALWAYS REMAIN THE SAME PER [redacted] PAYMENT WAS DUE ON 11/6/ [redacted] INTENT TO CANCEL NOTICE WAS PRINTED ON 11/27/17, WITH AN EFF CANCEL DATE OF 11/29/A CANCEL CALL WAS MADE TO THE INSURED ON 11/28/TO ADVISE THE INSURED POLICY WAS CANCELLEDINSURED WAS UPSET AS SHE DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHY A PAYMENT WAS DUE AGAIN, BEING THAT SHE MADE A DWN PMT ON 11/3/ WE EXPLAINED THE $PAID ON 11/3/WAS THE DWN PMT TO FINANACE THE POLICY INCREASE OF $FOR ADDING THE 2ND VEHHOWEVER THE INSURED DID NOT COMPREHENDSHE BECAME IRATE AND BEGAN TO YELL AT MEI ADVISED WE CAN CALL [redacted] AND [redacted] TO INQUIRE ABOUT REINSTATEMENTINSURED THEN REQUESTED MORE TIME TO MAKE PMT PER [redacted] @ [redacted] THEY WERE WILLING TO SEND REINSTATEMENT REQ TO [redacted] UPON RECEIPT OF PMT IN AMOUNT OF $FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER A CALL WAS PLACED TO [redacted] , WE SPOKE WITH [redacted] @ [redacted] WHO STATED THEY WOULD BE WILLING TO REINSTATE WITH RESINSTATEMENT REQ FROM PFC AND PROOF OF TIMELY PMTPAYMENT WOULD NEED TO BE MADE NO LATER THEN THE CANCEL DATE OF 11/29/INSURED WAS ADVISED OF REINSTATEMENT REQUIREMENTS I FOLLOWED PROCEDURE AND HAD BEEN IN CONTACT WITH CLIENT THROUGHOUT THIS PROCESS

For the Insured’s security, Freeway requires all requests be in writing and signed by the Insured We have no records of a request to cancel the policy on August from the customer Prior to the Revdex.com compliant received we spoke to the customer and asked that a signed request be forward for processingUpon the receipt of the signed cancellaton request it was sent to All Star Insurance for processing We were unable to collect any monies from the authorized credit card as the transaction was declinedAll Star voided the policy and as a gesture of good faith Freeway has waived the down payment balanceOur calls and messages have not been returned by the custome therefore, a letter was issued informing the customer of suchIf the customer requires further assitance, we welcome her to contact [redacted] at ( [redacted] , Monday through Friday from 8:am to 5:pm

Regarding the customer’s concern, the start of the policy was completed electronicallyAll documents were sent to the customer via email and verbally explainedThe customer electronically signed the documents in agreement and provided her credit card information for paymentFreeway Insurance Services takes great pride in assuring that all customers are provided with excellent service and apologize for any inconvenienceInfinity Insurance Company flat canceled the policyAs a gesture of good faith, Freeway issued a refund check for the down payment paidThe customer has agreed with the solution

I received a phone call from the representative, and explained a new way to cancel which did not require the previously explained stepsIn the future I wish this business to be consistent with their policies and to give full disclosure as to why the rates increase, because I did notAlso, it should be explained to the customer the cancellation process and fees initially when signing upI will not be doing business with this company again

It was discovered that the rating system we use to determine a rate did not have the rates for vehicle models at that time of the sale which is the cause for the increase We take great pride in assuring all customers are provided excellent service and apologize for any inconvenienceWe would like to come to a satisfactory resolutionThe customer disputed the charge for the monthly payment of $and that amount was credited back to his accountHowever, the customer was insured for months and currently has an outstanding balance with Western General Insurance Company of $for the coverage provided until December 11, Prior to and after the receipt of the complaint we have made many attempts to speak to the customer in order to resolve to no availWe welcome the customer to contact [redacted] at [redacted] for further assistance from Monday through Friday, from 8:am to 5:pm

So I got insurance from freeway early October because I wanted to get insurance for my car since the traffic amisty program in CA was in effectAnd I planned on getting my license backSo I got a call from them and I short story I have them all my info and they quoted me for $a monthI thought that was good until the guy said I needed $as a down paymentThen I said I couldn't afford that right nowI really should have stopped there when he said how much can you pay todayBut stupid me, wanted to get this guy off the phone I said $So he said ok pay $right now and the policy would go into effectI needed the insurance anyways so I went for itThen he tells me that he has to walk me through the paperworkWitch he didHe told me to scroll down and sign here, and scroll down and initial hereBasically rushing me through the paperworkSomewhere during that he now mentions the other $that I didn't pay today I have to pay in two weeksIn the middle when I'm already signing the paperwork and with him still rushing meAfter when I finally made the paymentI noticed his demeanor changed and he's like ok your insuredAnd he hung up I didn't feel right about the way he rushed me like thatSo I went online and looked at reviews for freeway and of course there not goodIt was there I learned about the $non refundable broker fee that was apart of the down payment I madeIt was then I felt I wanted to cancelI didn't want to support a shady business like thisBut I didn't have the paperwork yet so I waited till I did and weeks later I finally got the paperwork in the mailAnd I read in the paperwork of the broker fee the guy never disclosed over the phoneI read that and I was pissedSo I called them and they said I have to cancel the insurance through the insurance companyI felt it really was a waist of time because I'm not getting the $I put for the down payment backDuring this time they kept pulling from my checking account and overdrafting itPlus there $fee freeway insurance charges in a separate transactionSince they were separate transactions my bank charged me $instead of $each time they tried to pull out of my bankNow as of this posting I'm -$in my checking accountAnd now a couple of days ago they had the nerve to call me demanding for the remainder $I supposedly owe themI tried explaining the situation and how I didn't like how the guy rushed me and didn't disclose the broker fee and he said "well were brokers what do you expect" and "nobody could rush you into signing paperwork" "you should have asked him to go slow" then he started threatening me saying "We sent your account to the state program for bad checks and your gonna get in trouble" but he said "we told them were gonna talk with our customer and see if he can make the payment" that's when I hung up I hope someone reads this review adapt because this company is a scamA legal scam, but still a scam!

In regards to the customer's concern the policy was quoted and issued with monthly payments of $with Anchor General Insurance CompanyThe down payment included the first month of coverage and Anchor mailed the billing notice for the following month of coverageThe customer was advised that if she cancels the policy any refund due will be for the unearned premiumFreeway Insurance Services offered a lower rate with a different company to which the customer decided not to do and decided to keep her Anchor policy

We regret that the customer has not had a positive experience and we will continue to take the necessary steps to assure all customers have a pleasant experience when contacting our office A signed written request is needed to cancel the policy and if the customer wishes to backdate the cancellation proof of duplicate coverage, such as declarations page is neededAfter receipt of the rebuttal, we made attempts to contact the customer and left messagesWe welcome the customer to contact [redacted] at [redacted] if he has any further questions

Complaint Type: Billing or Collection Issues So I just got a call from Freeways Corporate Officei just spoke with the same person who gave me an extremely hard time the last timeHis name was [redacted] they're still calling and badgering meThey want me to pay them $for being covered for daysI wouldn't have even been covered that long if the insurance broker [redacted] had not refused to cancel my policy with themI went back into the office less than 24hrs after opening the policy with them and was not allowed to cancelThe time I originally opened up the policy there was no payment given that's why I don't understand why they continue to hassle me about a payment that was never given to themDesired Resolution: Billing Adjustment No payment should be requiredIf there is a payment given it shouldn't be for $for less than a 24hrs hour periodI would like if they would adjust the billing to a reasonable price and to stop calling and harassing me

On April 27, I went to the Long Beach office to get auto insurance on my new leased carI was told I'd have to pay a $down payment in order for my monthly premium to be about $That was a large amount so she offered make it in two paymentsOne charge of $that day and $in about one week would be charged to my cardThat money was my "down payment" for my policy, that is exactly what Jazmin told me, and of course I needed the insurance so I paid upWe got to signing papers and she rushed through it all and I'm sure she had a [redacted] of papers that she kept putting aside and I only signed a fewThen I was given a non-itemized receiptI was never told of the broker fee/ comission that they keep because they don't say it upfrontHad I known they charge so much for work I can do at home, I would never go, but I guess that's how marketing and advertising works right? About a week later I receive a bill from some unknown bulls [redacted] insurance company asking for a $payment each month including that month! I go to their page to look at my policy and their website looked like it was created by a highschooler overnightWhen I tried to log in it wouldn't recognize my information! I thought I was their customer! I emailed them and I still haven't received a response to this day!! I started to question the business and their employees when I went home with certain information and expectations and nothing matched upWhy was I charged so much and told it was my down payment? Why don't I remember being given a price for the service? Why did it feel like a super rushed service? And why was my premium higher than what I was told? Then I realized they are a dishonest businessThey are liars and manipulatorsThe majority of their clientele are older minorities, most who depend on people like them to get things done, people who don't question because they don't know any betterAnd, that is how they get away with this! I went back to demand a refund for the "down payment" for my insurance policy that I didn't want anymoreAnd surprise surprise was [redacted] was fast to agree and do nothing but apologize for her dishonest employees for not explaining things thoroughly and misinformingCoincidently, the second charge had "just been charged today" so I couldn't get my full refundI had to wait for both charges to have been processed in order to receive a check in the mail I was asked to come in the next daySo I didI was told I'd only be receiving $out of the $because they charged a cancellation feeMy sister was told they'd only be taking $away as the cancellation fee and here they were telling me it was $Turns out my "down payment" included the undisclosed broker fee that these charlatans get as commissionIt was never a down payment for my policy! Try this, go online and try getting insurance through any known insurance company, you'll be surprised to find no down payment required! Pay in full or monthly, that is allFreeway Insurance makes bogus charges and make you believe it's for your policy but it isn't! I still haven't received my money back and will be disputing the $they are keeping for the sh [redacted] dishonest service I receivedThey do not deserve to keep my money for lying to me and catching them in their lies Do yourself a favor and just go online and get yourself a policy through a reputable insurance provider, might be a bit more expensive but you are paying for quality and honest serviceAnd, most importantly, your money will go into your policy*To top it off, Jazmin sold me the wrong type of insurance for a leased car! How's that for professional incompetence?

Regarding the customer’s concern, we explained the down payment and payments and the customer was satisfied with the rateOur broker reviewed each section of the policy application with herIn agreement the customer proceeded to electronically sign the paperworkThe down payment included coverage for the first daysAnchor General Insurance sets the monthly due date days after the start of the policy and grants an additional days to pay for the next days of coverageWe spoke to the customer, explained the information and issued a refund for $as a courtesy which she accepted as a resolution and agreed to continue with the policy

Our company policy regarding the disclosure of the down payment and fees are to be disclosed both verbally and in writingThe insurance company also mailed a Declarations Page along with a policy jacket explaining in detail the coverages and feesThe customer’s policy canceled due to a returned payment and not because of the missing driver exclusion formUpon the receipt of the replacement payment the reinstatement period had expired and the money was applied towards the cancellation fee, non-sufficient funds fee and earned premiumPrior to the receipt of the Revdex.com complaint Freeway issued a refund for $as a gesture of good faithWe have many attempts to speak to Mr [redacted] to further assist but have not received a returned callWe welcome Mr [redacted] to contact [redacted] at (714) 252-2624, Monday through Friday from 8:am to 5:pm for assistance

Regarding the customer’s concern, Freeway Insurance Services, Incgranted an extension on the down payment balance to be paid on April or until paidA partial payment was made by the customer on the due dateHowever, our system noted there was a remaining balance to complete the full payment and charged the difference on April It is our company policy to disclose all fees both verbally and in writing and provide exceptional service to all our customersDairyland Insurance Company canceled the policy as requested by the customer effective April 28, As a gesture of good faith, Freeway will issued a refund from the broker fee to the customer; the customer agreed with the solution
