Our cutoff for Christmas delivery was posted on our site, and the cutoff for Christmas delivery was a first box ship date of 12/**This customer set the first box ship date as 12/** on our website, so we could not guarantee Christmas deliveryAs listed on our FAQ, Birchboxes can take up to ten
business days to arrive, and there can be 3-business days between tracking scansThis customer was concerned about the tracking scans, so we requested a replacement box for him as a courtesyHe received the original box and it was missing one sampleThe replacement box is still in transit to himHe requested we cancel the subscription and refund him in full, so we cancelled the subscription and refunded him in full despite the fact that we shipped two boxes to him

Birchbox Points are earned by referring friends who subscribe (Points), Shopping with us (point for every $1), and leaving sample review (pts each) as of July ***

As mentioned in our last response, Birchbox is a discovery service, so there are sometimes products in the boxes a customer wouldn't normally tryWe are not able to swap out samplesAs mentioned in our last response, we have now compensated *** *** with $worth of product in our Shop, despite the fact that she received all samples promised, and despite the fact that she paid $for this boxWe will not be compensating further

While this statement is true, why should I had to pay for shipping On the $credit that was given to me I had to pay $for the item to be shipped which is like not having a credit to begin withAs for the review of the products that was for the first box that was never received And why should I have to pay for Birchbox to ship another box if I hadn't received the first one!? I know I am not the only one to complain about this same thing

When picking the shipping date it gave me a range of delivery datesI picked a shipping date that placed delivery the week before ChristmasI would not have delayed shipping so as to make the delivery lateI had initially made the purchase around the *** of December, so the company's reasoning makes no senseThe replacement box was due to the mis-shipmentSo the replacement box should not suffice for the incomplete boxI am requesting further compensation for the additional mistake

When this customer first reached out, he was angry that the box was not going to arrive by December **In tracking that first original box, it did, in fact, arrive on December **As listed on our FAQ and our website, Birchboxes are shipped via *** and can take some time to reach our customers, which is why we listed shipping cutoffs on our websiteEven though the original box did arrive on December **, we had also requested a replacement box, and that was marked delivered on January *We shipped two boxes, but this customer was still upset so we refunded him in full and cancelled the subscriptionThis means he received two boxes for freeWe will not be compensating further
