Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I got in contact with Geek Support Live and talked to a customer service personalI got the run around and they refused to to give my money back for services ($virus scan protection)I tried to explain that I got in contact with the Revdex.comHe said that the services rendor were perform according to all the termsHe wanted me to log on to their site and let them have control of my computerI told him that the letter I received from the Revdex.com said that the service would be cancel and that I wanted my money back to settle my claimHe said that I would not received my money back because I wouldn't buy the hacker program to fix my computer.I would like to talk to the customer at their Connecticut officeMy cell phone is [redacted] and want to talked to someone that can speak good English and can give me respect when I'm talking to them about this issue.I did try to e-mail you ( [redacted] ***) but my server sent back a MAILER Domain message Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI have not answered their calls because they traumatized me so terribly and I do not want to give them the chance to repeat that experience! The experiences and expenses in time and emotions, closing my bank account and reopening another, etcto prevent them from using the check they forced me to write and they scanned during the very upsetting experience is payment enough for my dealing with them Their calls were coming to my home phone and to my mobile phone at night, on Sundays, and even on the 4th of July! I blocked the numbers but they found another and left another voicemail on my cell phone just recently I will not have anything further to do with these people! Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I had the same experience from a man who claimed to be from GEEK He wanted me to log into my computer and he would show me how to fix my errors I was suspicious of him and told him I was working and did not have time I asked him how he got my phone number and he said my computer's license number game him my phone number They are definitely scam artists and I hope someone, somehow, takes care of them

I was contacted today from a Larry G [redacted] who stated he was a tech from Geek Support Live The phone number was ###-###-####Larry stated he was a [redacted] technical professionalHis company received a notification that I had error messages on my computer, and he was calling to help me fix it I immediately felt it was a scam since I was nowhere near my personal computer and have not logged on to it in at least a month As I probed Larry he went on to state my contact information was tied to the serial number for the computer, so when the error messages came through the company knew who to call This would also be incorrect, as my laptop was a gift and is not registered in my name Larry (whose accent clearly indicated he was not Hispanic), shared that his mother was Hispanic and he did not speak Spanish at all (clearly) He went on to explain he wanted to first validate the errors by directing me through a series of prompts on my system, thus allowing me to view the errors myself At this point the entire interaction was comical, so I played along to obtain the following information--The first set of directions took me to command/ctrl box in which he had a command 'assoc' for me to enter, then a series of clicks etc He then had me close out, go back in to the system drivers, and walked me through a new set of commands and clicks that were to display the following error- 888DCA60FCOA....It was at that point I informed Larry that I used to be employed in technical support and am fully aware that his commands were to place the 'error' on my system in the first place in order to then 'see it' and I have no doubt, commit to some sort of obligation in order to resolve or even worse, that he would have had access to my computer He was relentless, attempting to explain away the fallacies in his story I thought maybe the company was simply being misrepresented; however in lieu of the reverse phone searches I have conducted in addition to reading just some of the many reviews posted here, these people are in fact a scam I hope this helps someone not be a victim!

I have been receiving numerous telephone calls from a representative from "Geek Support Live" stating that my computer has been contacting them with possible virus issuesThey also call my husband on his cell phone, and he does not even know how to use a computerI have had my computer scanned multiple times for [redacted] or viruses and all is coming up negative for threats I believe that they have shady practices and I would like to have my number removed from their database permanentlyThen they just hang up very rudelyPLEASE HAVE THEM REMOVE MY PHONE NUMBER FROM THEIR SYSTEM
