I am rejecting this response because:
The nature of my complaint is that (1) the business  is misrepresenting itself (by not promptly identifying the name of the company "Geek Support Live" at the beginning of their sales calls and instead implying that it is [redacted] customer service"--a practice commonly referred to as a "[redacted] scam"), and (2) that they are refusing to identify sales calls as such (despite telemarketing sales regulations requiring that they do so). Removing my name from their call list does not resolve either of those issues. They need to dramatically alter their regular business practices in order to resolve these issues.

I am rejecting this response because: The contact numbers provided in this response were not provided to me at the time of service, just the ones that didn't work or kept me on permanent hold.  Now, post filing a complaint, they suddenly provide new contact numbers? As previously stated, service was not provided. No improvement in PC function. No Web Root security software. I do not wish to deal with these people anymore. Note all their other Revdex.com complaints. I just want refund.

Most of things written by complainer in itself explains that we did the right thing. We don't sell computers, we offer it complimentary with our Incident based plan that provides all future computer support services for particular computers for free. Plus, customer also gets software's worth hundreds of dollars with the plan and quarterly detailed computer servicing too. We have honored all our commitment with the customer. Therefore, I see no reason for this complain. 
Customer benefits with this service as they don't have to spend anything for computer technical assistance in the future, unlike other companies who charge annual recurring fees.

We have contacted customer multiple times, however he does not let our technician help him with...

his computer issues and hangs up. For some reason unknown to us, he thinks our technician is on his computer full time, which is not the truth. We get on customers computer only when they call us for support and allow us. 
He should speak with us so, that we can understand his computer issues and help to fix it. He should call, our Senior Manager, Mark, and he will be happy to go over his account with us.

god bless Alvin W[redacted] & sam because he patiently worked to help my husband and me to get our problem resolved. We are both senior citizens and move very slow. My husband just came home fro his second back surgery and I was also recovering from a stroke. We would have the company recognize what a wonderful worker they have.

I am rejecting this response because:  The amount refunded was incomplete.  It certainly is NOT me complaining, I filed on behalf of my mother, [redacted] and she is aware of all correspondence.  Her address is [redacted].  She stopped payment on her credit card the day after the call, prior to informing me of her dilema with this company.  Their business practices are agressive and confusing to the elderly.  She felt badgered and pressured to buy their product and, when I spoke to the salesperson, I was told that they are "not telemarketers, they are EDUCATING people on computers and their products."  My mother, who lives on a fixed income, can not afford >$400 worth of "education" downloaded onto an obsolete computer that she does not fully understand how to use.  I found this company to be untrustworthy with questionable business practices. I have never filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, have never felt the need to, but this company needs to take a good long look at how they operate.

We offer tech support to genuine [redacted]...

operating system users and offer free computer diagnostics with no obligation to sign up with us.  We follow up with customers who have requested us to contact them for the same.  However, sometimes our technicians may make error by contact to wrong number.  It is possible in this case?  
Please be assured that they wouldn't be contacted by our company again.  We have removed their number from our data base.

I am pleased with the Geek Support. My sessions with Cyrus and Michael have been very helpful and I trust them to do the necessary inputs to my computer. I am sometimes frustrated due to my ignorance of electronic items. But, am very happy knowing I have the support of people like Cyrus and Michael. Thank you!
