While I did not receive any product or service from this company, their actions and demeanor on their unsolicited phone call leads me to believe that they are scammers trying to rip you off As a Internet security professional, I am suspicious of anyone who calls claiming to be from "Tech Support" When I asked that my phone number be removed from their list, I was told that it was a computer generated call and that he was unable to remove it from his list Googling their number ###-###-#### showed several scam web site blogs such as *** I strongly recommend that under no circumstances should you do business with this company I'm not sure where all of these positive posts are coming from, but good reports are not hard to fake

I have no real answer for Mr***
1st: First we do not have a *** working for us
2nd: We do not charge $to repair any computer This can be seen by going to our web site to select the prices from $and up, unless Mr*** is a business with or more computers than the charge is $
3rd: We do not work for *** but we do ask customers if they have *** *** or *** on their computer
4th: If anyone talked abusive I would immediately hang up
5th: If anyone entered my computer and the owner was unhappy all they have to do is hit close/cross icon on that window and it will shut down the contact person right away
6th: Our company prides itself with customer service and we would never pay anyone for asking for funds for something we did not do because money is not the issue here
7th: We have added Mr***'s phone number from our Do Not Call List

They informed me today 8/27/that they had refunded to $to my credit cardI have not had a chance to check this our with *** ***If I have not received it in my account by next week I will let you know.Companies like this are ripping off the PC customersI have been working with computers since when I took a course at *** *** *** on the *** *** and worked with the ** *** *** of Engineers during my senior year helping with their computerAfter graduation I went to work with the Corps and worked with them, retiring in 12/31/in various Information Management positions in the field offices and in HQ in Washington, DCAfter retirement from the Corps I formed my own company *** to provide software and hardware support to various individuals, companies and schoolsSo you can see I have had valuable training and experience in Information Management Services Industry. *** *** called us with her credit card issuing company on conference call, asking to cancel her
services with Geek Support LiveWork was already done on her computer, we still offered her $refund as a good faith company and she accepted itWe immediately issued her refund of $ Receipt faxed to Revdex.com
She again seems to have chargedback for the whole amount as we have received chargeback notification today which is not fair
Moreover, we did not have any control on her computer prior to her acceptance to allow us to work on her computer
At the time of online purchase of any plan with Geek Support Live, every customer has to type their email address mandatorily and an Invoice is sent automatically to every customer after they purchase any service plan with Geek Support Live.
I'm sure this will clear up this matter

I am rejecting this response because: I got in contact with Geek Support Live and talked to a customer service personalI got the run around and they refused to to give my money back for services ($virus scan protection)I tried to explain that I got in contact with the Revdex.comHe said that the services rendor were perform according to all the termsHe wanted me to log on to their site and let them have control of my computerI told him that the letter I received from the Revdex.com said that the service would be cancel and that I wanted my money back to settle my claimHe said that I would not received my money back because I wouldn't buy the hacker program to fix my computerI would like to talk to the customer at their Connecticut officeMy cell phone is *** and want to talked to someone that can speak good English and can give me respect when I'm talking to them about this issueI did try to e-mail you (*** ***) but my server sent back a MAILER Domain message
