George Brazil Plumbing & Electrical

I'm always terrified to call a plumber. I know nothing about it and have experience making expensive mistakes on my own before calling a professional. I took a deep breath and called George Brazil this morning.

I called and they set a 2.5 hour window. I got a call from Darryl a few minutes later and he arrived quickly. He took care of the problem (no hot water in the guest shower) which was important because we had a guest with us!

It was quick fix, and because of that there was no charge. That's right, no charge. Darryl was friendly, efficient, courteous and capable. This was our second good experience with the company and we'll use them again when we need assistance.

Used Brazil for plumbing service, rep Scottin was very professional, explained in detail what exactly needs to be done, did the work expeditiously and tested everything before he left.

New Year day electrical surprise taken care of quickly. *** underground power problem identified and service call placed for me. John knew exactly what to expect from *** and had me on the right path quickly. So glad I have service contract for very reasonable cost for diagnosis of problem. Why I use them.

We had an electrical problem which occurred right after we switched the *** power to our name. We called *** who assured us the power was turned on and we needed an electrician. We called George Brazil and they were quick to respond. Thomas checked the electrical panel and found that no power was coming from the meter. He assisted us with the call to *** and spoke with them about what he had found. *** said the power had been remotely turned off by mistake and after about 30 minutes of conversation they remotely turned it back on. The service call fee was very reasonable and we were happy with the service.

George Brazil gave me excellent service. They promptly scheduled me even during the holiday season. They verified the appointment and called ahead. They even sent me a picture of Roger V, so I would know who was coming. This is particularly helpful in this day and age of craziness. Roger V presented as very kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. He explained everything as he went along and made suggestions for my safety. He worked without pause for the whole time he was here and reviewed everything before he left. I was very impressed with him and his representation of George Brazil.

This is the first time we have used this company and are very impressed with the whole process. The communication is excellent including an emailed picture of our technician for security purposes.

Professional, fast, on time. John was very nice as have been all the service techs from George Brazil. We love this company as they have always provided us with exceptional service. Everything has always been done right the first time, but if there comes a time when we need them to revisit an issue; we have no doubt they will resolve things.

Service person called me when he arrived at the rental property. Rather than telling me straight forward what was wrong, he began to up sell a discount plan that would save me 11% on the services I would purchase,... and then tried to get me to agree to replace a perfectly good water heater and gas lines, sighting he had replaced many in this complex. This had nothing to do with the reason I called. After asking repeatedly for exactly what was wrong and finally getting the price for just the problem, I explained that for replacing a wax ring and possibly a flange... that his price would come to $250 per hour... more than an attorney's fee... and I declined to allow him to do the work. I then called another contractor, and the work was completed for one third the cost 2 days later.

I had Daniel V. do some plumbing work at my home. Extremely pleased with the work done by a knowledgeable and hard working young man. Thank you George Brazil for hiring some of the best people!

I would recommend to my Family and Friends. No complaints both Bill and Eric were very polite,on time and made sure very thing was pick up and cleaned. Did not hesitate on answering questions I had.

On Monday, October 29th, I called to schedule a plumber for an estimate on a new garbage disposal and sink basket. Today, Thursday, George Brazil Plumbing sent Ron out and he arrived promptly. Ron explained my options and gave his advice about what to do. We had a 30-plus year old disposal made by Montgomery Ward. Ron replaced it and the sink basket on the second drain, with a new p-trap and pipes. He left the area very clean and completed all the work in less than two hours. Having worked with lots of plumbers over our 40 years in Arizona, I must say that Ron was the very best plumber we ever had do our work! He was patient in explaining our options and the cost, made good recommendations and answered all my questions. He was very good at the technical aspect of the work and completed the job quickly. I am so impressed that I wanted to write this "over-the-top" review. THANK YOU RON and thank you George Brazil for being such a reliable company!

We had a water heater leak and I'm really happy that I called George Brazil (a repeat customer after our AC broke down two years ago). Alec provided great information on both the broken and the new tank, friendly service, and thorough quality checks when he was done. Very satisfied with choosing GB.

Jason responded to our call on a Sunday. George Brazil was very responsive to our need for prompt service, and did not simply leave us with a recording on their phone. They truly are 24X7. Our electrical problem was complex, and Jason was able to provide an immediate estimate for diagnosing the problem. He was very analytical in his approach and was able to isolate a short in a "kluge" line that was buried between the house and an outdoor BBQ area outlet. That short impacted 1/2 of our house + cable TV! Jason provided a short-term fix, and he forwarded estimates to us for longer term repair of the outlet connection plus a system to protect our entire home and devices/appliances from storm surges. He identified many dead switches in our house and explained what they were all for. We were really impressed with Jason's systematic approach and knowledge. His customer interface skills were top notch.

Gabriel S. kept me informed through out the repair, explaining everything. The cost was what he quoted in the beginning. He was professional, worked hard, and was kind. If I have more work with this company, I will ask for him. I'm very satisfied.

Tony was the electrician that came out to install out recirculating hood vent. Super professional, kind, and efficient! I will request him again to work on our home. We couldn't be more satisfied and happy with his work!

We had a water leak coming from the ceiling and dripping onto the floor. I called in the morning and the service tech, Alec E, showed up by early afternoon. I was very happy they could come out on the same day as I had to shut off the water to the house. He figured the problem out fairly quickly but the fix took some time in the sweltering attic. Alec stayed cheerful and professional even though he was dripping with sweat as he had to enter and exit the attic several times. He showed me photos of the problem and explained a solution for the fix. When he was finished he showed me a photo of the fixed part. I was very impressed with his courteous and professional demeanor. The price seemed fair for the work and time that it took. I will be calling George Brazil the next time we need rescuing from a plumbing issue.
