Dear MrBond:
Thank you for forwarding the correspondence sent to the Revdex.com and would like to offer you the following response
Please be advised that GM Financial places a high priority on adhering to all
state and federal lawsThe state of Maryland does require a Pre-Repossession notice to be sent prior to submitting the account for repossessionThis notice was mailed to the address of record on May 10, The cure notice detailed the amount needed to cure and provided a cure date or date of last payment
On July 4, 2017, GM Financial made the decision to place the account out for repossession due to the account being over days past due and subsequently the vehicle was repossessed on July 11, A Notice of our Plan to Sell Property and Notice of Right to Redeem was mailed to you on July 12, This letter detailed the information and amount needed to reinstate the accountThe letter also specifically states that any additional amounts coming due or expenses incurred that are not reflected on the notice, will be added to the total you must pay
After a thorough review of the account it has been determined that the handling of the account including repossession was in compliance with all state and federal lawsOur records also reflect as of July 24, 2017, the reinstatement amount was paid and the vehicle is back in your possession
Should you have further questions or concerns, please contact our office at ***

Thank you for the correspondence sent to the Revdex.comI have reviewed your concerns and would like to offer the following information. GM Financial was not present during the contract negotiations between yourself and EnterpriseOn April 30, 2013, you signed a Retail
Installment Contract (“Contract”) for the Mitsubishi Outlander in the amount of $22,at an interest rate of 15.25%Within the agreement, you agreed to repay the loan in monthly installments in the amount of $per month, beginning on June 14, Negotiation of Annual Percentage Rate would have had to occur with the Seller prior to entering into this Contract. As this is a Simple Finance Charge (simple interest) contract, we figure the Finance Charge (interest) on a daily basis at the Annual Percentage Rate on the unpaid part of the Amount Financed (principal)We may apply each payment to the earned and unpaid part of the Finance Charge, to the unpaid part of the Amount Financed and to other amounts you owe under this contract in any order we chooseWe based the Finance Charge, Total of Payments, and Total Sale Price shown on the front of your Contract on the assumption that you will make every payment on the date it is due A review of your account payment history reflects that the application of your payments to the unpaid part of the Amount Financed and to the earned and unpaid part of the Finance Charge is accurate. Included for your review are copies of your Contract and Account Payment History. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please feel free to contact GM Financial directly at 1(800)284-2271. Sincerely,GM Financial

Thank you for your feedback in such on this matterI'm happy that I get the title of my Dad's vehicle put in my name but I have another concernThe loan you have with my dad is still going to be in his nameBut the problem is probate is to get all debt out of his nameIf I'm going to pay over $a month for a vehicle I for one would love the credit put on my credit reportI have no money for a big down payment for a refinance loanBut then I ask myself if you know and trust me to put me on the TITLE of my dads car then why is it so hard to just put me on the loan contractThis seem's illegal because how are you going to collect debt of a loan of contract from a deceased personYou would take a big loss if something would happen if it came back to your companyI just want my credit build upSo later on in life I can purchase another vehicleMy point of view is I pay off my fathers loan then go to a car dealership and be told I don't have a substantial credit score and no history of any vehicles in good standing being paid offSo then I would be approved at allMy dad isn't here anymore to purchase a vehicle in his name for me so I can pay it off for him like I did his last vehiclesI built his credit upThe Chevrolet Cruze holds a lot of my heart because it's the only thing I have left of himMy brother and sister took everything elseBut thank you for your timeHope we can settle the matter

I believe you've stated exactly what my issue was, the facts of my signing, payment and date of the lease are not in disputeI did not see a date for the first payment on the agreement which is why I contacted GM Financial on a few occasionsYour statement that the website is only able to reflect the current amount due is my exact point of contentionThe web site had a balance of $until about two days prior to the payment being days latePayment was sent immediately by my bankIf GM Financial feels I should have paid that balance immediately over the phone (I was driving at the time) I feel if your account information on the website displayed the actual balance due at any point prior, that would not have been requiredI do not pay my bills late, GM Financials failure to maintain and implement its web site was the direct cause of my payment being credited days past the day markNot the fact that I didn't make that payment by phone. Furthermore GM Financials failure to acknowledge fault or take any steps to correct the error are incredibly poor customer service and are in violation of the Fair Credit Act and I will act outside of the Revdex.com if requiredI can assure you that this will be the very last time I conduct any business with GM Financial as well as causing me to reevaluate my long standing loyalty to General Motors cars and trucks
I faxed 2x the same document that the deal or sentYou should have received itThank you
