GM Financial Reviews (4045)

Thank you for the additional correspondence sent to the Revdex.com. I have reviewed your concerns and would like to provide the following information. Our records reflect that on December 10, 2015 the discussion surrounded a due date change, not a deferment; and that you were advised that the November 14, 2015 installment payment would have to be paid in fullprior to the request and processing of the due date change. You paid the November 14, 2015 installment payment on December 14, 2015 and a due date change was processed on December 15, 2015. As per your request, your due date was changed to the 1st of each month, with your next payment due on January 1, 2016.A thorough review of your account has been conducted and it has been determined that the handling of your account is in compliance with all state and federal laws. Our research further indicates that during the conversations you reference, you were provided with all options currently available to you, including voluntary surrender and its ramifications. We apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurred; however, we are unable to comply with your request for additional deferments as your account is not currently eligible for this type of assistance as you have not yet established enough of a payment history since deferring the July and August of 2015 installment payments.Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please contact Customer Service at ###-###-####.Sincerely,GM Financial

Re: Complaint ID: [redacted]       [redacted]
 Dear Ms. [redacted],
Thank you for the correspondence sent to the Revdex.com. I have reviewed your concerns and would like to offer the following information.
As previously stated, GM Financial is an indirect lender and all credit applications are submitted through an affiliated dealer. On December 2, 2017, an application for credit was submitted through John Sullivan Chevrolet. GM Financial was not present during the negotiations of this purchase, however, our records indicate that GM Financial was unable to accept the initial terms requested. GM Financial is required to send the applicant a notice of Adverse Action. A secondary notice that reflects the specific reasons we were unable to offer you financing was requested on February 15, 2018. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive these notices via regular mail.
If you have any further questions or concerns regarding this matter, please contact your dealership finance department.
Sincerely,
GM Financial

Dear Ms. [redacted],
Thank you for the additional correspondence sent to the Revdex.com. I have reviewed your concerns and would like to provide the following information.
On January 2, 2014, you entered into a Retail Installment Sale Contract (“Contract”) for the 2008 Jeep Commander in the amount of $22,814.53 at an interest rate of 10.95%. Within the agreement, you agreed to repay the loan in 72 monthly installments in the amount of $433.66 per month, beginning on February 1, 2014. GM Financial employees were not present at Mancari’s Chrysler Jeep, Inc (“Dealer”) during the signing of the contract and GM Financial was not an original contracting party in any agreements between the two parties.
Please be advised a copy of the Contract will be mailed to the address on file. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please contact GM Financial’s Customer Service department at ([redacted]
Sincerely,
GM Financial

October 8, 2015 Re: Complaint ID: [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted] Thank you for the correspondence sent to the Revdex.com. I have reviewed your concerns and would like to offer you the following information. GM Financial is unable to accept direct payoffs for...

leased vehicles in the State of Florida; therefore, a third party, like Innovative Funding Services (“IFS”), is used to facilitate cash and third party financing transactions as well as to assist with indirect financing options for GM Financial lessees. We apologize that you have had a poor experience with Innovative Funding Services during the process of purchasing your leased vehicle.  As IFS is an independent third party company, GM Financial is unable to determine what occurred between Vystar Credit Union and IFS to cause a delay in the payoff of your lease account; and as a result, GM Financial has submitted a request to the credit bureau reporting agencies to remove the negative reporting in September of 2015. Please allow 30-45 days for the credit bureau reporting agencies to reflect this update. GM Financial did not receive the payoff for your lease account until October 6, 2015 and your lease account is now closed.  Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Lease Servicing at [redacted] Sincerely,GM Financial
