I am rejecting this response because:This response does not address how they will prevent this from happening again in the future. This is the fourth time I have had additional charges to my lease statement. The first time I called Texas myself to resolve, the second time the Customer Service Rep took care of it. These last times I had to go this far to resolve it. I want new plates for my vehicle in order to "disconnect" my vehicle from whoever's car it is in Texas that continues to incur these toll charges, at GM Financials expense

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:GM Financial was contacted SEVERAL times by the institution handling the sale of the vehicle and also by me. Why were we not told this was what was needed in order to complete the transaction???? Why was I not sent this form when I inquired how to go about selling my vehicle??? Why has it been almost months of waiting and finally a Revdex.com complaint in order to get this resolved? I have kept insurance on the vehicle for months WAITING on GM Financial to figure out how to transfer a title

Thank you for the correspondence sent to the Revdex.comI have reviewed your concerns and would like to offer the following information
On April 5, you signed a retail installment sale contract for the Jeep Liberty in the amount of $19,at an
interest rate of 19.95%The contract is a simple interest contract which means interest accrues daily on the unpaid principal balanceIf all payments are paid by the due date, the account will be paid in full on the contract maturity date
It is important to understand that when payments are paid late or deferred, interest will continue to accrue on the unpaid principal balanceThe balance that remained on your account at the time of maturity was the direct result of the account payment history since the inception of the contractI have thoroughly reviewed your account payment historyThroughout the time your account has been active; eight extensions have been granted at your request for the months of May and June of 2010, February and March of 2011, October and November of 2011, and July and August of The account has also been past due on multiple occasions, including times over days past due and times over days past due
The unpaid principal balance remaining upon the maturity of the account in January of was rescheduled at your request for a term of months at $with no additional interest accrualPer the Final Installment Payment Agreement you signed on January 17, 2015, the monthly installments were to begin on February 10, with the new Final Installment Due Date of January 10, On May 21, 2015, you were quoted a payoff of $3,good through May 31, This amount included the remaining principal balance of $2,plus the late fee balance of $

On August 3, 2011, you signed a Retail Installment Sales Contract for the Dodge Ram in the amount of $13,at an interest rate of 20.50%The contract terms you agreed upon, state the loan would be repaid in monthly installments in the amount of $per month, beginning September 17,
On June 28, 2018, the decision was made to place the vehicle out for repossession, as allowed by the contractThe account history was reviewed thoroughly and it has been determined that the handling of the account, including repossession, was in compliance with all state and federal laws
Our records indicate that we spoke to you on June 29, in regards to the status of your accountAt this time, the representative explained the amount needed in order to stop further repossession efforts; at which time no firm arrangements were made on the accountThe last payment on record prior to the repossession was made on June 28, in the amount of $100.00; at which payment was applied towards the April installment due date
Upon review of the account, our records reflect that the vehicle was repossessed on June 30, A “Notice of Right to Redeem or Reinstate” and the “Notice of Our Plan to Sell Property” were mailed to the address of record on July 5, These notices explained that you would be required to pay the difference between the amount you owed to GM Financial and the amount the vehicle sold for, plus expenses if you opted not to redeem/reinstate the vehicle

GM financial acknowledged that on July 2, they were contacted and made aware that the vehicle we financed with GM Financial was traded in on a new car on June 30, The June payment was due on the 26th of June which made it days past the due date. Our records show that we gave them the dealership name, address and phone number during the July 2nd contact I received a notice in August that the account was past due and they reported it to my creditI called the dealership and they said that they sent the payoff on July 6, 2015. It seems odd that they received the second check that was sent over night and this was the same address that the first one was sent to. I am going to get a copy of the first check and the address it was sent to and attach it to this response. GM Financial seem to have discarded the first check as it was not returned to the dealership or attempted to cash it, in a way to make our last payment seem as being late and to charge us for late fees, extra interest and other fees, so as not to have to refund us an money owed for over payment. Our records show that during the two times I attempted to contact GM Financial between July 6th and again on July 13, by phone, they did not return my callI mailed a letter and attached the sale agreement that showed the new vehicle purchase and the trade in of the GMC Acadia that was financed by GM Financial, but this was also not acknowledged

Dear Ms***,
Thank you for the additional correspondence sent to the Revdex.comI have reviewed your concerns and would like to offer the following informationThe contract is a simple interest contract which means interest accrues daily on the unpaid principal balanceThe Total Sale Price shown in the Truth-In-Lending Disclosures on the face of your contract assumes that all payments will be made as scheduledThe actual amount you will pay may be more or less depending on your payment record
In review of the account activity and payment history, more of your monthly payments were applied to accrued interest due to payments being made after the scheduled due datePlease note that throughout the time that the account has been active, six deferments have been processed per your request for the months of February and March of 2007, October and November of 2007, and May and June of Please understand that when a payment is deferred or delinquent, interest still continues to accrue
