In email said that I had 3 business days to ship product. Now refusing to give the 3 business days and going to void sale of over $650 for "late" ship
I was told that I could sell my shoes through their marketplace if I shipped within three business days. I made the sale this past Friday. Now, I'm being told that I needed to have shipped these shoes by today (the following Monday) or else the sale is void with the seller who purchased them. I reached out to the company today because I was very confused as to why they are saying (Monday) today is 3 business days from Friday. They said that their company defines a business day as including Saturday, but this inclusion of Saturday as a business day wasn't in the original email I received from them (nor is it reasonable to think that the average person would consider Saturday to count as a business day). They said that if I ship my shoes out to them tomorrow morning, which is still within three business days, they won't be responsible for what happens to my shoes (over $650) and that I may not ever get them back and won't get any money for the sale. I wonder if they do this so that they can trick sellers into paying the penalty they charge for not shipping "on time."

Desired Outcome

I would like the business to honor my sale (paying me the money I made) and let me ship the shoes within 3 business days as they had stated in their email.

Per our selling policy as copied from our website, 'If your sale is not confirmed within 24 hours and shipped within 3 business days (Monday - Saturday for FedEx, UPS and USPS) from the order being placed, it will be canceled'. Since the original order was placed on 11/22/2018, which fell on a federal holiday, your first business day did not count until 11/23/2018, on which date you confirmed you were able to fulfill the order. To avoid confusion, all sellers are provided with a specific day and date they are expected to ship by in addition to other relevant seller information and shipping tips, via email. Confirmation of this email was also provided in your correspondence with our support team, which showed that your was expected ship date was Monday, 11/26/2018, 3 business days from the order date. As previously advised and as stated in our seller policy once more, since FedEx, UPS, and USPS are available on Saturdays, this day counts as a ship day. According to the order log for this sale however, you were able to successfully ship within the allotted time frame and your sale was both verified and paid out on 11/28/2018. Hi, this is ***. I recently made a purchase of a pair of sneakers (Union x Air jordan 1 storm blue, size 9) on Goat. I placed my bid price on Goat and seller accepted the price and confirmed.My bid price was $805 for the sneaker and now the price went up to $*** in three days.My bid at that time was the top offer. I waited for three days for seller to ship out, but the seller did not. Now Goat support is trying to find a replacement of the sneaker with the same price. However, that's not realistic since $805 cant buy $*** product. I saved my meal plan money for this shoes and cant afford that much for $200 bucks more. The Goat support is emphasing their policy that they will refund me if they fail to make a replacement of the shoe with same price within 24-48 hours. Therefore, it's possible that the goat wont find a matched price since the market price goes up. No one is going to sell at that price. That is unfair to the customer like me. When I made the purchase, I was commited to bear the risk of the price either going up or going down, which I dont really care.I like the shoe. Thats why I offered the top price at tha time. But what goat is doing is all good to seller. They do not need to bear anything risk or suffer nothing if they fail to make their commitments of accepting the bid. there is no punishment. And I lose the best opportunity to get the shoes with the maximum price that I can offer. Also, there is no any compensation from Goat. That makes me think that is a flake and scam, since everyone can accepting the bid free of punishment, pushing the market price going up and zero transaction happaned. Even though I have made couple happy purchase experience in Goat, thats the worset one ever in my life. Buyers bear all the loss from Goat's unfair policy.

Replacement What i need is the sneaker (Union x Air jordan 1 storm blue, size 9). I am not derserved to suffer these loss and pay more money for the shoe as i was committed to the risk if the price of the shoes goes down. The same risk should be applied to seller which they make the best use of Goat policy to avoid. Finally, thank you for your help. There is no where i can find Goat customer service number to contact instead of an E-mail. They are not really helping buyers like me to resolve my problems.

When purchasing an item on GOAT, buyers have the option to either place an order for the current lowest price available for any given shoe/size or to submit an offer for a specific shoe/size they're interested in purchasing at the price they're willing to pay. Any seller with a matching shoe to your offer can review it and decide if they'd like to complete the sale at your suggested price. Regardless of whether the order was fulfilled through the 'buy now' option or an offer, the seller is still given 3 days to ship complete the sale or the order may be cancelled. This is of course, both incentive to the seller to get your shoes to GOAT for verification as soon as possible and also to keep you from waiting an extended amount of time for your order (or refund, when applicable)! Please not that in the event the seller fails to ship within the allotted timeframe, they are penalized for the cancellation. We understand that it's not fun to be cancelled on and that is why penalties may include a higher commission rate or removal of seller privileges altogether. Regrettably, since GOAT is a marketplace and all of the prices of the items sold are managed by the sellers who have listed them - we are unable to guarantee another product for the same price as originally paid. We encourage you to submit another offer for the original price paid however, in the event a seller may be willing to match your price once more. The Goat App claims to be the safest way to buy and sell New/Used sneakers. However, that is not the case. I placed my 'used? shoes for sale. The shoes were only worn once and were in great condition. I posted all of the pictures they asked into the listing ad so all buyers can see the condition of the shoe, which is in compliance with their selling procedure. I shipped out the shoes to the company so they can verify authenticity. A few days later I get an email saying my shoes are 'Replicas'. Now the company so trying to charge me $45 dollars for shipping costs allocated to my transaction. My shoes are 100% authentic and were purchased from a reliable retailer - Finish Line. I have proof of purchase on my bank statements as well as the shipping confirmation and order confirmation from Finish Line. Unfortunately now Goat App will not give me back my authentic shoes unless I pay them $45. I advise everyone who is looking to sell sneakers to use the Stock X app, they are much more professional and have never encountered such a problem like this thought all the shoes I have sold.

Unfortunately, after an inspection of the sneakers, our specialists had noted many inconsistencies between the overall shape, construction, and materials used within the sneakers in comparison to authentic retail pairs. As we are unable to justify these inconsistencies should the buyer write in to complain/ask, we will not be able to accept these for sale and have refunded the buyer.

I sent a pair of special edition sneakers that come in a special edition box. Long story short, this business received the package and stated that they did not receive the sneakers in the special box. I sent them pictures of the shoes and the box that I sent and was told the issue was being escalated. When I was contacted, they sent me a picture of the shoe box that was inside the special box. I responded to the message to ask that they go back and find the special box because I had already missed out on my sale AND they're attempting to charge me $40 to return the shoes but not in the exact condition I sent them in (missing the special box). I have sent many messages to them through their app and they are completely ignoring them. Because of them ignoring my messages, they have now placed my shoes in some sort of consignment that I did not and do not approve of them to do, that really isn't scheduled to happen unless our issue isn't resolved within 14 days. I have responded everyday so there's no reason for that to happen. At this point, they have my shoes that I sent them to make money on, they've either lost or destroyed the special box these sneakers came in, and I cannot get a response through their customer support within their app. I want my sneakers returned the way I sent them on their dollar or I want them to compensate me accordingly for my original asking price for losing or destroying the special packaging.

I have sent pictures of the sneakers and the box they came in so whatever footage you have, I would like it presented to where it shows that it has my information on it in order to confirm that what your team says is actually true. Anything outside of some form of evidence showing that my package showed up to your facilities without the special box will not result in a satisfactory closure of this issue.

I paid for a brand new, non-defective pair of shoes and I received a shoe with loose and frayed stitching. The company does not respond to its emails.
I paid about $780 for a pair of new, non-defective Nike (in collaboration with Off-White) vapormax's. I have used Goat to purchase many shoes and have never had any issues, but when these arrived one of the shoes had frayed, loose, and dangling stitching, when it should've been stitched properly to fasten the Nike tab to the top of the tongue. One would think for this price the shoe would not have any defects, especially since I didn't choose to purchase a defective pair. I have been reluctant to choose the 'request the return' option in the app because they take the cost of shipping the shoes back to them out of your refund, and the refund is only a 'Goat Credit'. I'm not looking for a refund, I would like to exchange them for a non-defective pair that is new and has not been worn/used. They have no contact phone number which is very sketchy...only an email where they don't respond back to you. I've sent multiple emails and have only gotten one response back that says 'we have escalated your ticket'. I wanted to make sure that the 3-day return policy would be extended upon me contacting them, but no response. By sending me a product that was not what was depicted to me and then not responding via their only line of communication is fraudulent and action needs to be taken.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking an exchange of this defective pair for a non-defective pair. I do NOT want to pay shipping as I've already spent $780 on these shoes. They should have NO imperfections nor should I have to pay extra for Goat's mistake.

While it's important to note that this particular sneaker model is specifically designed to have a 'deconstructed' look and there may be many inconsistencies as part of the manufacturing process, we want you to be happy with your order. As such, the following options were presented at the time your request was reviewed: A credit towards a future purchase, which never expires, and saves you the trouble of requesting a return. Or alternatively, we are happy to accept a return, per our standard Returns Policy as less the cost of shipping as GOAT credit to be used towards a future purchase. Since we do not offer exchanges, you would instead be able to use any applicable credit towards the purchase of the same shoe from another seller, or any other shoe of your choosing. In response to these options, we received an immediate threat to file a dispute with your bank. While we respect the right of any consumer to work with their banks directly in regards to receiving a refund, we advised that in this instance, we would not be able to continue with the return. Unfortunately, once a dispute has been filed, all communication in regards to the status of your refund/credit would be required to be made directly to your bank until claim resolution. Credit Card charge by minor without permission
My grandson, who is 14, used my credit card without my permission to buy shoes on their site. They continually reply with more information needed. I am a senior whose husband is disabled, raising a grandchild and we will have a meager Thanksgiving dinner without their $185 refund. This company is a SCAM and should be put out of business because they prey on children!

I ordered a pair of shoes using their listed "fastest to you" option (costs extra), and they have not shipped or given me any update on my order.
I ordered a pair of shoes through the GOAT app on 11/09/18 using their offered service of "fastest to you" which charges a significant amount more than a normal asking price because it is supposedly shipped directly from their facilities to the buyer.

Normally an ordered product would ship from the seller to GOAT where they would verify the shoes are authentic and then ship to the buyer. This option claimed they had the shoes in hand already and had them verified ready to ship to me "INSTANTLY".

Since my order, it has been nothing but problems. I opened a ticket asking what the turn around time would be, and I received different answers from 3 different agents.

It has now been a week since my order and the status on the app still sits on "order placed". I have reached out several times more asking for an update and why my order has not yet been verified and shipped when they told me that the pair was already in house and verified ready to ship instantly.

Every ticket I have opened for customer support since the first initial contact has been blatantly closed with no response to me whatsoever. Totally ignoring my issues. So, I am out $760 dollars. I used their service with Affirm to make the purchase which is basically credit/loan service. I am now required to make those payments monthly without even knowing where my ordered product is. This is ridiculous and horrible customer service. It's no wonder they don't provide us with direct contact such as a phone number to call. Only email and in app chat which they obviously can ignore with ease or worry.

Every ticket I have opened since these have been closed and ignored. They responded fairly quick with those first two tickets, but ever since I mentioned there seems to be a problem with my order as the information they gave me was inaccurate, they have been avoiding contact with me!

Well I made a transaction with the consignment company goat, where I sold them a pair of shoes that I mailed to them via ups through a shipping label that they created that was insured. Well the shoes never made it to goat I believe someone at ups stole the shoes. Well my issue is with goat because they assured me that I would be covered in this situation well I haven't heard from the company since 11/8/18 and I'm out of my shoes and or the money that I sold them for. I've reached out multiple time before reaching out here their is no number to contact them or anything just email.

I bought a pair of sneakers that were never shipped. I paid extra to have the Instant Shipping. It's been over a week and they still haven't been sent
I bought a pair of Creamy White Yeezy 350 sneakers for $250. The shoes were listed as already at their warehouse and was available to ship instantly. I bought the sneakers on 11/3/18... it's been over a week and they still have not been verified and sent. They also have not responded to any inquiries I've made. Not to mention they don't list a phone number so you can call them. I am out $250 and I can't even call them to see where my order is! The sneakers should have shipped as soon as I paid.

I would like to have the shoes I paid for. Send them out to me or if there's a problem, send me a comparable pair.

I paid $90 for shoes only worth $60. So if you bid shoes at 60 youll be paying 90. 30 for shipping. And if u return and yet dont have the shoes is 30 for goat to get the shoes and return the shoe to the seller. So in return youll get 20 some odd dollars. Bad business. Unless there shoes you want DONT EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. BAD BUSINESS.

The Goat verification process for sneakers is a joke. I ordered the Jordan 4 Son of Mars "Fire Red", and the pictures and descriptions all indicated that while there was heavy discoloration and markings, the shoe itself remained intact. However, there two of the triangles were missing, and one of the shoelace holders were completely torn off!

Item that I purchased was not received, nor was a replacement offered. Shady business is going on, I believe an employe took my item.
On 10/25/2018 I placed an order with GOAT for a pair of Jordan Sneakers. The *** the item was Jordan retro 4 "Lightning" sz 10.5 in very good pre owned condition for $955. The process began smooth with my order arriving at GOAT & successfully verified by 10/29.
This is where things got rocky GOAT updated me with a FedEx *** but did not mark them as shipped. I also received an email from UPS saying I have a package (***)on the way from GOAT. This was my first red flag but I didn't think much of it, why would I receive two tracking numbers from different couriers? I waited till the days end and neither tracking # moved passed the label created stage. I reached out to GOAT via email & received a response from someone named *** that my order is being packaged with best case scenario of being sent the following or next day. Less than 13 hours later I received another email from someone named *** telling me "It appears that my order was never scanned into the system and is lost in transit". I was completely baffled at how in just a few hours everything was now completely opposite of what I was told by *** I told *** that I would need to be compensated in the form of covering the difference of them replacing the shoes. *These are a very rare and hard to find model of shoes, I found them for sale on GOATs app at a very good price and in amazing condition the closest comparable size in this shoe on GOATs app is $400-$500 more than what I paid.I tried to explain this to *** and his response was " upon further review we confirmed FedEx picked up your package but they pick up orders in bulk and are not scanned in until they hit the regional facility, and in rare occurrences they are mis-sorted or mishandled. I should re purchase my shoesThis response was offensive to me for a number or reasons, first it just seemed like a copy and pasted generic answer. Next it showed me he didn't even take the time to look into my previous message & or my order because it would be impossible to reorder my shoes. After that I sent a message requesting to speak speak to a manager/ higher up to voice my concern and even left my cell number. That message was never returned, I also have since sent a number of emails & messages to their social media with no results. With all the factors in this situation to me it seems that someone on the inside of GOAT saw the deal I got on the shoes and kept them for themselves and tried to write it off as a shipping error. Nothing in this case is adding up and I have not received a resolution or at the very least someone just hearing out these details of what is taking place. Terrible and unprofessional experience.

Desired Outcome

I would like to have a comparable pair of Jordan 4 Lightnings sent to me. I would settle for any size in the range of 9.5-11 with 10.5 being my preferred size. Shoes would have to be either brand new or very close to new as that was what I was expecting. I think this is beyond fair for all the hassle and unprofessionalism I have been dealing with. Not to mention that the story thats being told to me about me order is very suspicious. This matter should be investigated further by one of GOATs higher ups. Its not fair or should it be ok for them to just do this to customers. I was really looking forward to these shoes and have been searching for them for quite some time now.

Only accepting this response so its done with. They did refund me after a drawn out process. I stick by the fact that shady business went on and either they stole or an employee kept the shoes I purchassed for them selves. They claim they have video of my package going on the truck, this is 100% a lie. They claim it was FedEx yet I received a UPS tracking number, than later they generated a FedEx number and sent me that to match the story they were telling. I would avoid GOAT its been a headache and now I am out a grail shoe because of them.

I was charged extra for a service("instant ship") from goat in which I never received nor got a refund for.
So on 10/23/18 I ordered sneakers from Goat app/website my *** in which I purchased these sz 10 sneakers that were supposed to be "instant ship" sneakers which were $50 more(the shoes were $375.00) than non instant ship sneakers( that were $325.00). Instant ship/Pre-authenticated sneakers is Goat's supposedly new feature they have as there website that sells new/used sneakers from other customers, but now with instant ship/ pre authenticated the sneakers can now be shipped quickly as they are already pre-authenticated certain shoes and they ship them instantly from goat. I paid extra for this service and it did not ship directly from goat so my shoes I ordered arent pre-verified as they said and didnt ship instantly again. I reached out to them and have screenshots of the conversation I had with a person named *** and I asked why arent my sneakers shipped to me directly from goat, he asked to see a screenshot of the email I received stating the shoes were pre-verified in which I sent him. Then he tells me the shoes "unfortunately did not pass there second quality check" so I asked for a refund of the difference of price which was $50.00, on there website the shoes that are "instant ship" "are PRE-VERIFIED ship instantly from goat". So if it didn't pass there second check that means there arent pre-authenticated like it says. They refused to give me a refund of the difference and shipped the sneakers to me after. I have an email stating the shoes were pre-authenticated and will ship directly from goat which it did not, I also purchased a couple shoes from this website and have all the emails from previous orders. This was my first time using instant ship and they charged me for instant ship pre verified sneakers and they stole my money and refused to pay me back. Once again I have screenshots of the conversation in which that *** person lied and tried to cover up certain facts and I am highly upset and demand some answers.

I just want a refund of the service i did not receive, i just want to be made whole again. The difference is just ($50.00) and they wouldn't even do that. Also the only contact you can have with them is through email/ ticket on there website and cant talk to anyone in person as they do not have a listed phone number. It is important to first note that while the sneakers purchased were indeed pre-verified, that this order was not placed through the 'Instant Ship' category. Every shoe stored at GOAT's facility has been verified for condition and authenticity prior to being listed for sale, regardless of it being the lowest price for any given SKU. These shoes come to GOAT through a variety of outlets including GOAT Storage, returns, consignment, and/or seller drop-offs and are not always shown as an available purchase option, based on the seller's price. An 'Instant Ship' item however, is any shoe SKU listed on GOAT that has an available matching shoe already at GOAT, which often is priced higher than the lowest price listed by the seller for any shoe model - but is available to ship directly from GOAT at the time of purchase (within 24-48 hours), saving time on requiring the seller to first ship for verification. Understandably, both 'Instant Ship' and pre-verified are physically at GOAT, but if the order is not marked as 'Instant Ship' there is no guarantee the seller you are purchasing from has their shoe at GOAT's facility already or will need to ship.

The screenshot we received in our previous email communication showed the following copy, 'Your sneakers have been pre-authenticated by our specialists and are shipping directly to you from GOAT.' This information provided was true, as the sneakers were ready to be shipped from GOAT on 10/24, within 24 hours of placing the order on 10/23. We believe that you may have received an additional transactional message with conflicting information in error however, which we apologized for via email after explaining in greater detail that your order was not impacted by any delay, and was already packaged for shipment. Regrettably, as this was not an 'Instant Ship' purchase we are unable to offer a differential between product pricing, which is set by the sellers who list the shoes and not by GOAT. Additionally, according to the order history, your purchase was initiated, verified, packaged, shipped cross country, and delivered within 7 days - well within our original estimated delivery timeframe.

We apologize once more for any miscommunication or confusion and hope this clears things up. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact GOAT directly for additional assistance.

SKEWED REFUND POLICY
An order was placed in 10.18, completely followed short window return policy. The purchase was made for $130.00 USD and was only credited less than half of the total purchase (The item never left it's original box). This company does not offer a customer service phone line, therefore, ALL issues are dealt via email service. There was never a receipt or digital documentation of the return, only return responses that never address the issue/concern.

Our records show we received a request to initiate a return the same day as your order was delivered, per the tracking on 10/10/2018. Within several hours, a copy of our Return Policy was provided with instruction on how to request a shipping label via the GOAT app as well as how your refund would be processed which was later reiterated again on 10/18, 10/23, 10/24, and 10/31. As copied from our Help Page and the original email correspondence, 'once we process your return, we will refund you for the amount you paid for the item(s), less the shipping costs to and from you by issuing you an site credit (GOAT credit) to use on future purchases'. Please advise once more that when purchasing with Affirm, you are responsible for paying the remainder of your loan balance since the credit is not refunded to Affirm directly but rather to your GOAT account. Your credit never expires and is then automatically applied towards your next purchase at checkout, without the need to apply for a loan once more. The refund amount was also formally outlined via email both at the time we received your initial request for a return/shipping label and again once we sent confirmation that your return was received and processed, within our terms.

As provided in the email correspondence previously referenced, per our Returns Policy, you are refunded less the cost of shipping both to and from you as a credit. For this order, you paid a total of $130 - $10 flat rate shipping cost to you + $18.02 cost of actual return shipping costs including insurance for value of shoe = $101.98 credit refund. The cost of shipping is determined by the courier at the time the label is generated for the return and not by GOAT. At this time however, we see that the total credit issued has been applied towards the purchase of a new order on 11/17/2018, which has since been verified and delivered to you.

Purchased a pair of sneakers off Goats website, received the shoes and the laces were completely destroyed at the ends and couldnt use.
Purchased the sneakers opened the package to find the laces were not even laced in the sneaker. The laces were completely destroyed and could not be use at all. They Came with a second set of laces that didn't even fit. The pictures on Goat DID NOT show the laces all torn up or in the description. I emailed Goat the following day complaining and uploaded pictures. I wanted a complete refund for the sneakers and they denied me. I am not paying for sneakers that came in that condition.

Per GOAT's Return Policy, we do not issue refunds or accept returns or exchanges on special items (e.g., Vintage, Sample, ID, Custom, Defect, Pre-Release) or any used items. All purchases of special items are Final Sale. All shoes however, both New and Used, are passed through the same verification process at GOAT's warehouse where they are inspected against the original listing for both condition and authenticity prior to being shipped to the buyer. For Used purchases, we use the seller photos as a benchmark to judge the condition of the sneakers - so if the condition checks out with the listing photos, the sneakers are passed through the quality inspection. Sellers will not always note all minor issues associated with a pair of used sneakers (i.e. dirt, markings, insoles, manufacturing defects, accessories, etc.) - which is why ultimately, it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that all photos are properly inspected prior to committing to the purchase.

GOAT is a middle man company between buyers and sellers for shoes, the shoes get sent to them first so they can confirm the shoes are authentic then the shoes get sent to the buyer. I purchased a pair of adidas yeezy boost 350 pirate blacks on 06/29/2018 for $860 (***) they were confirmed authentic by GOAT and the shoes were sent to me. I then sold the same pair of shoes on GOAT on 10/02/2018 for $860 (***) and was informed by GOAT that the shoes are fake. after messaging them that they are the same pairs that they previously sold to me they reviewed the shoes again and determined that "the shoes are real, but the box is fake", which makes no sense because the shoes did not come with a box, the shoes were bought and sold as "new without box". i've tried to come to a resolution with them but they have ignored all my messages for the past 2 weeks. not only have they not refunded me, they've kept the shoes leaving me with no shoes and a loss of $860.

since they have the shoes and i cannot be certain the shoes are authentic, i would like my $860 refunded and they can feel free to keep the shoes and sell them themselves if they like.

The explanation still doesn't make sense because the box I sent the shoes in wasn't a "Yeezy" or "Adidas" box that could have been confused with, it was a generic Nike box that were used just to protect the shoes. GOAT still hasn't addressed the fact that I messaged them constantly and didn't get any response for WEEKS. If it wasn't for my shoes selling I can guarantee I would still have not gotten a response. The fact is they held my shoes and my money hostage with communication and gave me no choice but to sell the shoes thru their website and give them the opportunity to make a profit of 9.5% of a $*** transaction. Rather than do what was right which was give back the money I lost and them must recoup their losses by selling the shoes themselves. The fact that they chose to ignore all my messages and forced me to contact the Revdex.com and speak with a lawyer regarding taking GOAT to small claims court is outrageously unprofessional for this so called "business". And I won't just accept that 'the shoes sold and I got my money back that way' as a acceptable resolution. The fact is they ignored my MANY messages, have a response to the shoes being considered fake that still makes no sense, and profited off two sales (me buying the shoes, me selling the shoes). And I guarantee if the shoes never sold, I never would've gotten a response, and they would've ignored the letter for the Revdex.com, (what a coincidence that the same exact day my shoes sell they finally respond to my messages and respond to the Revdex.com)

GOAT charged for re-shipping when fedex failed to deliver and after I paid GOAT failed to provide any info and won't respond to emails
In August I bought a pair of sneakers from GOAT and fedex attempted to deliver before returning them to GOAT. GOAT said that to ship them back to me I'd have to pay $20. I paid that through paypal on October 1 and haven't heard anything about the re-shipment and GOAT hasn't answered any of my now-daily emails. They also don't have a phone number. Your package was then held at a local FedEx facility where pickup could be arranged onsite. Since the package was not picked up after 9 days, the package was returned to GOAT. Please know, in the event a package was returned to GOAT at the fault of the shipping courier, you would not be responsible for the cost of shipping. In this case however, the package was returned due to failure of pickup so the options of either paying to have the order shipped once more or processing a standard return were presented to you.
