I agree with the others, no matter what with any returns they will not accept a return, they lose money. They will be out of business in two years. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. Only buy from a retail store who is has a good reputation. GOAT IS NO BUENO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered a used pair of gray Mi Rainbow Adidas Ultraboosts. Received a new black pair in the same size. I do not want black. I want gray. I emailed the company 5 days ago and no resolution. They read my message on facebook but did not respond. I cannot return them. I'd have to pair shipping even if I did. I'd have to pay a fee to sell them on Goat. And I no longer have as good of a deal available on the color that I want. I searched for weeks to find the right opportunity. This was a birthday gift. Even a credit for future use would be appreciated. God even an apology at this point. For a company whose whole brand is verification I can't believe they don't care more about this.

My recent experience was about the same as Andrew K. I ordered a pair of shoes. When they arrived I tried them on and walked around a little inside the house. I felt they were a little too tight and decided to return them. It was within their 3-day return policy and with all the original packaging. Like Andrew, I was emailed by them and told my refund was denied because the shoes were used. I know there were no marks or scuffs at all on the shoes. There might have been a few microscopic pieces of carpet fuzz on the bottom, but they were definitely not used or worn for more than 5 minutes. They claim to be giving you a pre-paid return label, but you then find out that they deduct the amount of the postage from your potential refund. After the refund is denied, they offer to resell them for you on their site and send you the proceeds. No way I was going to take a chance on that with these guys! So, I again paid shipping charges for them to return the shoes to me. I am now awaiting receipt of the shoes.

Dear Ben,

We would be happy to provide clarification on this.

GOAT is a sneaker marketplace and not a retailer (e.g. FinishLine, Champs, Footlocker,etc.). Retailers receive shoes directly from the manufacturer and sell them to consumers at retail price. When a customer returns a pair of shoes, a retailer can turn around and sell them again at the same price.

We are a sneaker marketplace. This means users from all across the country can list shoes (New, Used, Vintage, etc.) on our app - where many of the shoes listed are limited releases - that can no longer be purchased in retail stores. This is why the prices on GOAT are typically higher than the original retail price.

Our return policy clearly states that 'we accept returns on New In Box, New No Box, and GOAT Clean shoes that are in the same condition as when shipped" (https://www.goat.com/returns). Shoes must be in the same condition because, as soon as they show any signs of wear, the value of the shoes decreases. This is similar to a comic book or baseball card collection, whereby the condition of the item determines its value.

While we understand that you didn't go outside in the shoes, you did state that you walked around the house in them. Because of this, they now exhibit signs of wear that go beyond just dirt or carpet fibers that can be wiped off. We have three specific photos that reflect the condition of the sneakers we received and will help confirm for you why they were downgraded, we will try to download here for you to review.

Ben, we appreciate the opportunity to share more about sneaker sales and specifically GOAT marketplace with you and sincerely hope to continue to do business with you.

I am filing a formal complaint with the Revdex.com agains GOAT app. They have not paid me for my sold items or contacted me back regarding payment.
I've personally sold a pair of Nike LeBron Red Carpet 7s sneakers on the GOAT app. I sold those over TWO WEEKS AGO. Still no payment for my sold items. I emailed them to inquire when I'd be paid and it's been 5 days and no response from anyone working there. I submitted a ticket request as well and no response. I still haven't been paid by GOAT even though they've made their commission off my sale. I haven't been responded to about my sale. It's been an awful experience with this company. I've read dozens of other emails from sellers like myself, it appears I am, but one of many who are having the same or similar issues with GOAT. It has been a very unprofessional experience. I just want to be paid for my sold items. GOAT has made their profit off my sale. Its past time I was paid for my sold items.

Order #: XXXXXXXX
Date of sale: 6/3/18

Desired Outcome

I would like to be paid for my sale. $85.50 is what I am still owed. I have not been paid or contacted back regarding when I can expect payment.

Goat Response • Jun 28, 2018

This case was resolved via GOAT's customer experience team on 6/13.

GOAT pays sellers and the funds are sent to their GOAT account first. Sellers can then transfer the funds to their bank or PayPal.

On occasion, the bank/PayPal transfer fails. When sellers reach out to report this, we investigate the issue and reissue the funds to their GOAT account if we find the funds did not successfully transfer to their bank/PayPal.

After investigation, we determined the funds did not successfully transfer and we put the funds back in the seller's GOAT account. The seller was then able to reinitiate the transfer.

I have been contacted and paid for my sale since I submitted a formal complaint through Revdex.com. Nothing further is needed.

Goat will not issue a refund after being told one would be issued, with a potentially fraudulent request by the company was made of my credit card.

On April 14th my boyfriend ordered me a pair of shoes from GOAT to be sent to my apartment. However, the shoe did not fit, and I immediately returned the shoes within the allotted time per policy and was given a $135.88 credit to my account. Soon thereafter, I purchased a new pair of shoes from GOAT and used my card to pay the balance of $24.12 using my card and complete the purchase. However, on May 29th I received an email from GOAT stating that they needed to verify my account and credit card. I was asked via my email account to see a picture of my card with today's data, my name and expiration date through my email account to them. I sent a picture of my credit card, with the logo, expiration data and first and last name showing to verify my account along with credit card that was used to purchase the shoe balance. However, I received an email requesting that I re-send the email and expose the numbers on my card. This I refused based on the premises that this information is being requested through yahoo mail, an unsecure encrypted site along with the potential fraudulent activity that may arise out of send my card to an email domain that anyone in the company will have access to. I was told by the representative that I was corresponding with that my order will be cancelled and I will be refunded the amount of the shoes if my card and numbers are not shown. Out of the potential use of identify protection and theft I chose to cancel the order and just be refunded the $135.88 as the option included along with my account deleted due to the now distrust I have with the site and company. This was the message I received below:

On Tuesday, May 29, 2018, 11:02 PM, GOAT wrote:

Thanks,
GOAT

As of today, 6/9/18 I have not received my refund as stated from the company. I have repeatedly reached out and contacted the company, requested the number to the corporation, requested that the refund be submitted to my boyfriend's card or my current card within the system. I received another response that by another representative of the company that I should expect a refund within the next 3-5 business days and my account has been placed on hold until I send a picture of my credit card. I responded that I wish to have my account deleted once again and that I will just except the refund as originally stated from another representative a week prior. On June 7th I then received an email stating that I will no longer receive a refund, but a credit, and that my account and that my account will be on hold until I submit a picture of my credit card numbers. Therefore, I cannot purchase any items from the website I.e. unable to use the credit as I originally tried to do initially prior to my order being cancelled. Nor will they refund my money as originally stated twice, therefore withholding my money illegally. I continued to email the company and requested contact information to their supervisor, manager, or even corporate headquarters to speak to someone since my emails were being ignored, but this continued for an additional week. It is clear that this company partakes in potentially hazards and fraudulent practices that places their consumers at risk through unsolicited measures. I would like this company to be investigated completely along with their polices be reviewed. I am requesting once again my full refund as stated that I should received two weeks ago of $135.88 as due and the complete deletion of my account due to potentially compromising polices to me identify and credit card.

Desired Outcome

A full refund of 135.88 to either the original payment method or the current card on file.

Representatives from the GOAT Investigations team called the customer twice on 6/20 and left two messages.

On 6/21, the customer followed up and a refund ($135.88) was issued for their order.

THANK YOU!

Paid $380.00 for a pair of shoes. I have sent over 23 emails to this company with zero response. Never received the shoes, but they took my money.
I purchased a pair of Pharrell x NMD Trail Holi 'Human Race' on May 3rd, 2018. I emailed them to cancel due to the fact my boyfriend was moved for work. They emailed me back and told me I only had three hours to cancel, so I asked to change the address. They asked me to send them the updated one, and I did, unfortunately the next day he got moved back to the original shipping address so I canceled the address change. *** of the company emailed me asking me to confirm an address of the WRONG PERSON AND ADDRESS. They sent me someone else's private information and I have proof of all of it. Since that email I have emailed them approx 18 times and have received ZERO response, I have never received the shoes even though on the website it states a 7-10 business day expectancy for the shoes to be received, it has surpassed that time. I purchased these shoes through the loan company Affirm, and they told me I still have to pay for the loan even though I never received the merchandise and I explained they won't answer me, Affirm did not care and told me to basically take a hike and give them their money regardless. This is so stressful and frustrating I just want my money to be refunded and to NEVER do businesses with these people again. Mind you I have ordered 4 other pairs of shoes and haven't had an issue until now. They will not reply, my "tickets" keep getting deleted on the app but I have taken screenshots of virtually everything so that I can prove what they have done. This was supposed to be a cute surprise for my boyfriend that has turned into a NIGHTMARE.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund, not a credit as I will NEVER do business with them again. I paid for shipping yet nothing has ever shipped and I again can see they have never shipped. This should be completely unacceptable for any business to do this to consumers. I just want my money sent back exactly the way I paid for it. 18 emails and NO response, come on that is absurd.

Goat Response • May 29, 2018

We apologize to the valued customer for the delays and and inconveniences caused. Whenever we receive multiple inquiries, we do typically merge them together to avoid any confusion which may explain why the user believed that they were being 'deleted'.

However, it looks like we were able to update the address and ship the sneakers to the customers correct address.

If there are any other issues with the sneakers, please let us know and we'll be more than happy to help!

Ive used Goat multiple times to sell sneakers. The last transactiob I had. I sent in brand new yeezy blue tints sneakers size 9. They mark them as used then gave me the option to cosign. I choose the cosignment open and was told anytime I want the shoes back, I can pay them shipping and have them sent back. Well I want them back, I sent out 3 emails to, sent messages to their Instagram, left comments for help and they have not responded to my request. They have no phone number to call and not even a real store to visit. They now have my $400 dollar shoes in possesion and will mot send them back or communicate with me. They are stealing from me now. I need help getting my shoes back,

purchased shoes. my son tried them on. to small. I actually think they might be fake. would not credit because they claimed the shoes are now used.
I purchased a pair of Adidas shoes for my son in the size he normally wears. he also has a another pair of these shoes (different model) in the same size he normally wears. the shoes I got from goat were about 1 whole size to small. actually think they might be fakes. I shipped them back the very next day in the exact same condition as when we got them. their return policy says they will not accept used shoes. THESE ARE NOT USED. HE TRIED THEM ON FOR 2 MINUTES. their return policy says nothing about "used" meaning the same thing as "tried on". now I have to shell out more money for shipping to get them back to try to sell myself.

Desired Outcome

i would love to get a refund of the 12.54 i paid for shipping to get the shoes i purchased back.

As a one time courtesy, we refunded the PayPal invoice for the return shipping costs ($12 USD). Please allow 3-5 business days (Monday-Friday) for the banks to process the refund.

Defective product
My husband purchased off white Jordan 1 sneakers *** at the lowest asking price of *** on 4/18/18 *** The item was delivered on 4/20/2018. Upon inspection of the product my husband noticed that the "AIR" lettering on the right shoe was abraded, which was not mentioned in the listing. Usually, when my husband posts an item to sell he needs to clearly identify any flaws in the product, even with the shoe box. We reached out to GOAT right away and heard from a rep named *** (on 4/22/2018) who said specifically in his response "Rest, assured we will follow up with you to address this issue." A week passes and no update. So I reached out and received a response from *** who ensured us that we would get a follow-up from another team member within 48 hours "at the latest". I sent my complaint to them on 4/28/18 heard a response on 4/29/18; it is now 5/4/18 and I have not heard anything back. I emailed *** again on 5/2/18 because this specific rep stated to contact them if I have not heard back within 48 business hours. It has been well over the expected time frame. Normally, my husband and I wouldn't mind so heavily on a flaw, but for *** the product should come to us in PRESTINE condition unless otherwise stated in the listing. We feel that since the transaction is complete, GOAT is bypassing our concern; and since the value of the product has increased, they don't want to have a flawed product essentially because it will be more difficult to sell. My husband wants to wear these shoes but has kept them in the box because he is waiting for a resolution.

Desired Outcome

We want goat to either take a percentage off the total purchase price or send a replacement with no flaws and we will return the pair that we have.

Goat Response • May 21, 2018

We are very sorry to hear the customer was unsatisfied with their purchase. We have reviewed the sneakers they purchased and can confirm they were correctly verified and are 100% authentic.

The placement of the stitching/text can have subtle differences from pair to pair, as this can be attributed to common inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. Not all pairs will align perfectly in terms of stitching/placement, which is why we take into consideration the overall craftsmanship and construction of the sneaker when authenticating.

Since we're a marketplace rather than a traditional retailer, we were unable to offer an exchange. However, we did offer a partial credit or a full refund as we do always want to make sure our customers are satisfied with the sneakers received.

We are still more than happy to accomodate the return if the customer would like to proceed with that option.

Customer Response • May 22, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The company failed to adhere to their authentication and verification process which is the whole purpose of their business. The defect; which they claim is a manufacture flaw, is a determination based on their behalf, and was overlooked from the beginning. Since the item was in their possession prior to shipment, it could have easily been mishandled by an employee so there is no way to verify if the defect is truly a manufacture defect. Also, it is not the placement of the lettering that is the issue, it's the abrasion. The lettering looks like it has been scratched. If in fact they did catch the defect before shipment; regardless if it was due to manufacture reasons, they did not inform us or the seller. If they did inform us prior to sending the product, we would have asked for a refund; which would have given us enough time to purchase another pair before an increase in price. The lag in communication is about 4-5 days with GOAT since they only communicate with cookie cutter responses through email. The partial credit offered initially was a $30 dollar store credit . This offer was increased to $50 when we informed the business that all solutions that were presented to us were not fair or comparable to the situation. The store credit does not benefit us at all since we won't be doing business with this company anymore. A return in this case would entail repurchasing the SAME item again at the ESCALATED price of ***. This is unacceptable to us as the buyers since we bought the item initially thinking it was a flawless pair. Why should we have to pay more for the same product when we already purchased it for the lowest asking price the first time? We are in the process of filing for small claims. Thank you.

Goat Response • Jun 14, 2018

We are very sorry to hear about the negative experience. We've compared the issue pointed out by the customer to a number of other pairs we've received in our database and have seen the same issue that was pointed out by the customer on a number of other pairs as well.

Although the issue was not considered an issue by our standards, we offered the customer a courtesy credit or the option to return the sneakers for a full refund to their original payment method.

We aways want the customer to be happy with their purchase and can still honor the return that was previously offered. We last reached out to the customer on May 13th but have not yet received a reply in regards to how they'd like to proceed. We hope to hear from them soon!

I sold a pair of shoes and never received my payment.
I sold a pair of shoes and never received my payment. I have reached out and they were responsive initially but then communication stopped and I have still not been paid. I was told that a member of their cash out team would be reaching out to me within 48 hours and that was over a week ago. The payment was supposed to be sent to my PayPal account. There was a mix up with my account but I got that fixed but they still have done nothing to get me the money they owe me as PayPal has told me they have no record of a transaction.

Desired Outcome

I want the payment I am owed for selling a pair of shoes on their website.

The money I was owed was transferred to my account and I am completely satisfied with the resolution.

I purchased "new" sneakers from GOAT, and received a damaged/stained product. I reached out to process a return, but GOAT has remained unresponsive.
Order Number: ***
Product: OFF-WHITE xAirVaporMAx
Item SKU: ***
Condition On Site: NEW
Purchase Date: 4/15/2018
Received Date: 4/20/2018

Statement:
Upon receiving my order on 4/20/2018 I quickly realized that the sneakers that I purchased had stains on them and swiftly took pictures and sent them to the company via their mobile application. I took four pictures to pinpoint where the stains were located on the sneakers and sent GOAT various messages regarding my issue.

Two days later on 4/22/2018 I emailed GOAT again to try and find a solution because they state on their website that they have a 3 day return policy upon delivery of the item. I made sure to mention this in my message as well. After which a rep (***) finally responded but only to deter my issue even more. I was told that my ticket was escalated and that someone would connect with me within 24-48 hours.

Two days later on 4/24/2018 I reached out to GOAT yet again, exclaiming to them that I really want to resolve this issue, though my email once again was left without a response.

It is now 4/25/2018, five days since I have been trying to find a solution to this issue and I have yet to hear from the company, and I fear that I may not. I have attempted to reach out to GOAT via email, their mobile application, Twitter, and even LinkedIn.

GOAT claims on their site that they guarantee authenticity and that they have dedicated members who check the sneakers before they are sent to customers - So I believe they should stand by their word and honor their claims.

Desired Outcome

At this juncture, I would like a full refund from the company. In my previous messages to GOAT I stated that store credit was all I was looking for, but the amount of neglect that I've received from them is absurd. I can't imagine any customer returning to them if they went through a similar experience.

Thank you Revdex.com for your hard work and persistence in helping me find a solution to my issue.

I received an email saying the product I sent them is missing an accessories. I sent everything and they just ignore my messages.
I sold a pair of shoes on GOAT. I sent the shoes with everything that it came with including every accessories it has. I took a picture of shoes before I send and it shows everything it came with. Later, I received an email saying the product I sent them is missing an accessory. I exchanged multiple emails with them and was told from their rep *** that it was escalated to higherups and I will get a response in 48 hours. It has been over 48 hours with 0 response and now I just got an automated message my sale was canceled with 0 follow up from customer service.

Desired Outcome

I sent the perfect product as described. Please credit me the value of shoes I was promised with. I sent everything that came with this shoes. Also, I refuse to send my shoes to NJ warehouse. Ever since you guys make me ship all my sales to this new location, I started having problems. This is complete bs. I am not selling on your app unless you let me ship to CA location.

Goat Response • May 08, 2018

We are very sorry to hear that the customer's most recent sale did not work out. We have reviewed the order and unfortunately, it appears that we did not receive the additional accessory that is typically included with the box.

Whenever this is the case, we do have to notify the buyer and notify them if anything is missing. We do still give the buyer an option to proceed with the order, but in this case, it looks like the buyer declined to proceed with the order.

It looks like the customer still has an open ticket with one our agents and we do hope to continue to have an open dialogue and assist with resolving this matter.

Used their app to sell a pair of Nike Black Cement 3s that I originally purchased on Dicks Sporting Goods Online back on February 17th, 2018. I have email to prove this purchase.

Company emailed me claiming they are "replicas" That is false and I have documentation to prove that is false.

They are making me pay to have the shoes shipped back.

This issue was also resolved with the business GOAT. I would like to retract my complaint.

GOAT is taking customer property/money without communication and is blatantly ignoring requests for updates from customers regarding their propert.
Goat has blatantly ignored attempts to communicate with them regarding a pair of $400 shoes I sold via their iPhone app(GOAT APP) I have requested numerous times to be updated on the status of the shoes 1. Being in their possession, 2. The progress of the verification process for the shoes. I have lost my own personal money by GOAT keeping my property without communication or resolve during this time. I have emailed and messaged them numerous times prior to filing this complaint. They are blatantly ignoring customers while in possession of their money/property.

Desired Outcome

I bought a product thinking is was "New" buying it with that assumption on their site. The product had a lot of imperfections and stains on them.
I received them in the mail April 4th. Inspect them, took pictures and sent them to the company letting them know I was not satisfied with the condition of them. They only accept returns within 3 days and missed that window waiting for them to contact me back.

Desired Outcome

I refund for purchase and to buy a pair that is NEW without stains or imperfections

The Company's main office is in California. They just opened one in Secaucus NJ, ever since they opened the location in the Secaucus NJ. They keep sayin items I sent them are wrong or the size is wrong or the bad SKU #, also they have come saying the items are fake. ext. Then they say we will shipped your items back. They come sending me a shipping tracking number, but the item never leaves their warehouse plus then when you try to contact them why I haven't received my item back. Goat comes back telling me we are sorry but your items have been misplaced. I'm not the only person who's had a lot of problems with them. Just today I got charged another $20 dollars to get my items back and have yet to received my 5 other item to me. These are sneakers of high value of collection. So my sneakers never appear back to me and they don't know we're they went. Money never gets credited back. Just keep getting charged to get ship back and my sneakers never get back to me. Their is no way of contacting them other then just on their own Goat App or email. We need a number or to even speak to managers or supervisors or even the founder but we have nothing. We just keep getting responses from random employees.

Thanks for reaching out in regards to your order on GOAT. We are sorry to hear your concerns.

I do see a member of our support team reached out to you -

We have reviewed your account and can confirm the earnings for *** have been issued and the return costs have also been refunded to your GOAT account.

We have issued the cash out for the Jordan 6's as well as the return shipping costs. Please allow up to 24 hours for the credit to be added to your account.

We can assure you these sneakers were not sold and they were returned to you but appear to be lost in transit.

In regards to the Jordan 8's, it looks like the sneakers are still listed and active for sale. However, we have forwarded the sneakers to our shipping department to process. We'll be sure to provide a tracking link as soon as they have been shipped out.

We requested information regarding additional sneakers but you did not get back to us so we assumed that this was resolved.

If there is anything else we can help answer regarding GOAT policy or otherwise, please don't hesitate to contact our support team directly for additional assistance!

I can understand why Goat has an F rating with the Revdex.com. Please avoid these cheats as you would the plague! I purchased shoes that were verified by Goat's experts as new and returnable. I had to pay for shipping. They were tried on inside the house for a total of two minutes. They didn't quite fit correctly, so I sent them back asking for a refund. I sent them back in the exact same condition that they were sent to me. I sent them back in the original packaging within their stipulated three day examination period. Again, I had to pay for shipping. Goat refused to refund my money, because their experts now said the shoes were used. My only two options were to list the shoes with them and receive a commission on their sale or to pay shipping to have the shoes reshipped back to me. I decided to have them returned to avoid dealing with these unscrupulous people. I already paid for shipping both ways. Now I am paying a third time. I will have paid half of the cost of the shoes in shipping alone, for shoes that don't fit correctly. Don't deal with this company. They are not to be trusted.

Hello , this ppl are SCAM around , they same fake shoes , and they charge 25% when you wanna return the item , they should be shut down , and I still cant get my refund yet , they answer on there email after 3-4 days if you are lucky , this is pure company , I just wanna let everybody know ,if you cant find the model on your shoes on official web , pls do not buy from them , ! they are SCAM.COM , THE NAME FOR THEM ITS MATCH ,GOAT ,:)

I ordered a pair of sneakers for my son from GOAT. I received a pair that was 2 sizes too small and not even close to the pair I ordered. I submitted a complaint, but then the next day received the correct pair. Over two weeks later I finally received a response on my complaint with a shipping label to return the first pair I received. Now I am expected to take time out of my busy schedule to got to our local UPS and wait in line to fix their mistake. Not impressed!
