Trying to change delivery address, but customer service is unresponsive
I purchased a pair of shoes on 3/19/18. Unfortunately the address that is on file with GOAT is an old address. I contacted customer service (they have email ONLY, no phone) to request an address change. I received an initial request from a representative named ***, to submit my address in their desired format, I complied with this request, however, I have not heard from the representative since then.

The status of my order is showing that the shoes have arrived at the GOAT location for verification. The next step will be for GOAT to ship the shoes to me. However, if they ship to the address they currently have on file, I will NOT be able to retrieve the shoes.

My only wish is to have the representative change my address so that I may receive the items that I paid for.

It looks like this complaint was resolved with a customer support agent and the customer was satisfied with the resolution.

I returned the incorrect product they sent me. They tried to blame me for their error and refuse to refund me what I paid for the shoe ($100).
Im calling this a complaint and a warning. On March 8th I ordered a pair of Jordan Hare 7s in size five (5). Order number XXXXXXXX. On the screen it clearly indicated the shoe was a youth size five. On the screen to choose my size it indicated size five. About 10 days later, I received a size 5C infant sneaker. I contacted the customer service department, in which *** stated it was basically my fault because there was a BP (Boys Pre-School) logo next to the name of the shoe.

1. Preschool shoes (no matter the gender) only run from 11/12 to size 3 (depending on the vendor, but nothing higher because Grade school sneakers run from size 3/3.5 to size 7). So, they still made an error regardless.
2. Goats entire website does not demonstrate consistent language across its platforms. (By this I mean, not all the sneakers are labeled properly. Half the infants, say infant. The others do not. That is a huge reason why so many of their clientele receive the incorrect product.) And then they use it as an excuse to blame the customer.

After emailing back and forth with ***, and letting her know that the client (myself) is not at fault because they displayed false advertisement on their website and mobile application. She escalated my ticket. BASICALLY, I PAID $110.00 ($100 for the shoe and $10 for shipping) for the product, and they indicate they will only refund me $83.04. They said they have to charge me for shipping, which is ridiculous because I paid $10 to receive the shoe and they're charging me $26.96 just to return it! Initially they said I will receive the refund in Goat credit only. Then another rep, named Stacy, emailed me that this one time they will issue a refund to my method of payment, but did not indicate the amount even after I emailed her. She stated I will receive a refund 2-3 days after they receive the infant shoe I returned on March 20th.

Goats refund policy is an absolutely scam. It's used by many companies who know they don't provide the best products and services, to take peoples money. You will pay for sneakers, while they have NO inventory. Then if there is an error they will charge you for the error (and state it's shipping) just so they don't have to give you your full refund (and hide behind their trash policy). This is their way of recovering their losses. They skim money off the top little at a time, because they are not a great enough company to handle the matter with integrity.

What I prefer to happen is they either send me the Jordan Hare 7s in youth size 5 (GradeSchool), or put the entire ($110.00/$100.00) refund on my method of payment. If they must take out shipping then my return should be $100 because their false advertisement is not my error. I shouldn't be charged because a company with no inventory wants to scam people off of their hard earned money.

We apologize to the customer for any confusion and inconveniences caused. We have reviewed the customer's order and can confirm they had purchased a preschool size Jordan sneaker. Jordan will typically denote the sizing with an abbreviation in the name of the sneaker.

Per our return policy, we clearly state in our terms and FAQ's, we're only able to issue a refund for the amount paid, less the shipping to and from the buyer in the form of GOAT credit. However in this case, we were able to accomodate the customer's request to refund to their original payment method instead.

We are very sorry to hear the customer had a negative experience and will forward their feedback to management for future consideration.

We kindly ask that the customer reaches out to our support team as we do hope to have an opportunity to remedy the customer's experience.

Like I said before, I paid $100 for the sneaker plus $10 shipping which totals $110. I only received $83 in return, and they say it was shipment charge. I work with shipment and logistics, it does not cost $27 to mail a product to California from NYC in standard shipment. I don't accept the response, especially because they refuse to take responsibility for their error and for the bad customer service. I collect sneakers, especially Jordans. So I am very well aware that PS (pre-school shoes) only go up to size 3. I still don't understand how I was able to choose a size 5 AND how in the world did they decide to send me a 5C INFANT shoe. None of that makes sense. This wasn't even my only issue, the other shoes I ordered from them, I purchased new & they arrived used. I'm just so sick of going back and forth, and don't want to lose anymore money with this scheme of a company. COMPANIES LIKE THIS DONT DESERVE PEOPLES HARD EARNED MONEY AND SEEM TO FORGET THEY WOULDNT EXIST WITHOUT CLIENTS! DO BETTER. I will make sure to tell every sneaker fanatic I know, not to order from Goat. And believe me, I know a lot.

In order to resolve this complaint, $26.96 USD was refunded to the customer's card for a total of $110 USD refunded.

3 pairs of shoes are consigned by GOAT. I received email saying they are consigned but it is not showing on the app. I contacted, no response.
GOAT consigned 3 pairs of shoes from me. Nike Jordan 1 Gold toe size 9, Jordan 3 Black cement Size 8.5, and 9. (They are from order XXXXXXXX, XXXXXXX, XXXXXXXX, Labels were mixed up and they just canceled all my orders and consigned all 3 pairs of shoes). I even received three emails saying each of these shoes are consigned. I could not find any of these shoes on my listings. I messaged them multiple regarding these consigned listings. It has been more than couple weeks I have been trying to find a solution on this issue. I do not see any of my consigned shoes in "consigned listing" menu of the app.
I contacted them multiple times and last time I heard from them was from a rep named Julie saying on March 15, 2018 "
I've escalated this ticket and a member of our team will follow up with you. You should receive an update within 48 hours, at the latest. If not, please follow up with us."

I have not heard back anything. I tried to follow up with them multiple times there is no response thru the app, email, twitter, nothing. These 3 pairs of shoes combine at least $800 value. This is absolutely unacceptable and I want an explanation. Attached are the email notifications received from them confirming consignment of these shoes. Please locate all 3 pairs of my shoes or pay me back in money if you cannot locate them.

When incorrect sneakers are shipped with a different order, they are added to the user's account as a pending listing.

Reason we do not immediately re-list the sneakers are because the prices for different sneakers and sizes will vary, so we make the listing available to the user to manually activate after they select the price.

If the user is having any trouble, we kindly ask that they reach out to our support team and we will be happy to assist with the listing process.

They sell shoes they sold a pair of my shoes you have 2 days to ship I shipped shoe on 2/28/18 they received shoes on 3/1 cancelled my order on March 5 saying they never received shoes I have tracking from Ups saying they received on March 1 now they cancelled my sale and want to charge me $20.50 to get my shoes back it's not the money it's the principal thT they are suppose to be a legit business they lost my shoes canceled my sale of $200 minus there fee and mDe the mistake on there end and they don't want to take responsibility to fix it by shipping my shoes back st no cost .

This complaint has been resolved.

Sellers have a deadline to ship because all shoes come to us, for authentication, before we ship the shoes to the buyer.

We allow 3 days (Monday-Saturday), from the time of the sale, for sellers to ship their order to us.

In the event the seller fails to ship or their tracking information does not update, the order is automatically canceled.

This seller marked, in the app, that they shipped their order on 02/28/18 at 12:48pm PST.

Unfortunately, the tracking information never updated so their order was automatically canceled on 03/05/18 at 10:32am PST.

We ended up receiving their shoes on 3/19. At this point, we emailed the seller to offer the following options:

Option A: Consign the sneakers with GOAT. We will add the sneakers to your account so you can adjust and activate the listing. Once the sneakers sell and the order has been processed, you will receive payment. The commission rate will be based on your seller rating.

Option B: Have the sneakers shipped back to you for $20.50. Please note shipping costs may vary based on the weight, location, and value of the sneaker. These costs include shipping both to and from our facilities. Once paid, we will send you the tracking information to follow the shipping progress.

The seller chose to proceed with Option B and the shoes were shipped back to them.

They're lying I have a paper printout from Ups saying my shoes were received on 3/1/18 by *** I just received my shoes back yesterday on 4/3/18 this whole situation was their fault & they never admitted that I shouldn't of had to pay $20.50 for the shoes to be returned as they were at fault .

They did not contact me but they did refund my shipping so case closed and thank you to the Revdex.com for all your help I don't expect anything else from them they need to get their act together

This company is suppose to sell shoes that they deem to be authentic. I ordered a pair through this company, and paid almost 600.00 . I then received and email from them stating the shoes I purchased were deemed by them to be fakes. They said they would either refund me in full off my credit card or give me a store credit for future use. I asked multiple times for a full refund, and was told they did just that. I am still waiting for a refund, and today they actually sent me the FAKE shoes. It is impossible to speak with a human, because their listed number is always out of service. NO response off facebook, or anywhere. Now, I have fake shoes and out 600 bucks. I DO have the emails supporting my claim. Please help me.

Refund was issued to a closed bank account, however the bank never received the refund and has statements to prove so. GOAT says refund has been made
On 8/23/17 A pair of Ultraboosts were purchased from GOAT during an event. The cost was $145 and the order number is XXXXXXXX. The purchase was made with a mastercard debit card from a local credit union. However, the shoes never were shipped. When asked about if they were having shipping issues they refunded the shoes to an account that was closed due to moving away for school. When going to the bank they say that did not receive the money. When goat was questioned about this they said that the money was sent. After much communication between the bank and I they proved that they didn't get the refund, statements were shown to prove that the account was not refunded after the closing. GOAT refused to talk about this to me and wanted the bank to contact them the bank can not contact them because GOAT does not have a phone number and the bank can not email. I am now at a stand still with the bank and have been with GOAT for some time.

I would like to have a refund or at least a credit on my goat account. The company has not resolved my issue and places blame on the bank.

I purchased sneaker for $350 from a seller that hasn't supplied my shoes yet. GOAT promise 10 business day process and I'm at day 9 with no updates
I ordered my sneakers for $350 from GOAT who advertise that their process takes 10 business days from beginning to end. I'm on the 9th business day and GOAT not only hasn't received my sneakers from the seller yet on day 9 they aren't following up in my concerns either. By day 5 I was asking for the status and I keep being sent a link about their process. If I do t receive my sneakers tomorrow which at this point is impossible because they seller has been screwing around then I should receive my refund. Their isn't a customer service number to speak to anyone all you can do is send a ticket to complaint.

There was a delay in delivery as the order was lost in transit on the courier side. GOAT initiated a package search for the and determined it was verified lost.

GOAT fully covered the cost of the order and issued a full refund to the buyers original payment method on 3/16/18.

GOAT has poor customer service ridiculous charges and incompetent workers.
GOAT is a consignment store they sell other peoples shoes on there website I recently sold a shoe through the company when I sent it to the company for authentications they declined my shoe saying it was a fake when I know for a fact they are real when I asked why they thought it was fake they gave me a proof explanation and when I asked for my shoe back they said they would charge me $85 dollars to get my shoes back when they could have just checked my shoe and accepted it I have been trying to email they they have stopped responding and will not resolve this issue instead they are holding my shoe hostage and forcing me to pay this ridiculous fees to get my shoe back

Our authentication team determined the shoes are replicas so we are unable to proceed with the order. In order to resolve this complaint, we will be shipping the shoes back to the customer free of charge.

The tracking information was sent to the customer via email.

They have sent me wrong shoes and are unwilling to refund me the full amount.
I have bought a pair of jordan 11s in size 13 and they have sent me size 13C which is childrens. They they tell me that the shoes had some kind of abbriviation. That is a total scam and none of the other website are operated in that way. This place has no phone number to call and email takes days to get a response. This place needs to be shut down.

The customer purchased a pair of the Pre-School size sneakers. The sizing for the particular brand is noted in the abbreviation of the title but we also include in the description that the sneakers are in youth sizing.

Nevertheless, we always want the customer to be happy with their purchase, so we can still assist with a return if they're unsatisfied with the pair received.

I made a purchase on the website. According to what they said, all orders must take 7 business day in total to get to the customer. It's been more that 7 business day till they hold it and never proceed to the shipment. I try to contact them and they said they has high volume orders. My son order 3 days after mine and he already got his delivery. And they took 3 days to reply to emails. They dont have any phone number.

The company keeps returning the shoes I purchased without an explanation although they have approved a return a second time around for a full refund. I spent additional shipping fees just by getting shoes backhand forth from the company after paying almost 1000 dollars for a pair of shoes that is too small in size. So it does not fit my son.

So I looked at my email this morning and noticed an outstanding charge from goat was processed that I never once confirmed, I never wanted to make this purchase nor did I want my debit on file. I found a log in for the site and noticed my card was attached to the account. When I try to contact them the only thing available is an email. ive provided my number multiple times asking to be called and nothing. I will be disputing the charges tomorrow with my bank. I want everyone to know about the lack of professionalism this company has as well as their lack of customer service. I will never recommend anyone to this company an will have nothing bad reviews for anyone who questions me about GOAT.

The customer made a purchase on February 7th and was able to request and returned the cleats to our facility for evaluation.

Per our return policy, we require all items to be returned in the same condition as when they were shipped. since the sneakers were shipped in new condition and were then returned as used, we were unable to accept the return for their order.

THESE CLEATS WERE ABSOLUTELY NOT USED. I WAS IN POSSESSION OF THEM FOR LESS THAN 24 HOURS. THIS COMPANY IS CLAIMING THAT BECAUSE MY SON ATTEMPTED TO "TRY ON" ONE OF THE CLEATS (ON BRAND NEW CARPET) THEY ARE NOW "USED". THIS IS ABSURD. THERE IS NOT ONE ATHLETE, COACH, PARENT...WHO WOULD EVER PURCHASE A PAIR OF CLEATS WITHOUT TRYING THEM ON!!! THIS IS AN OUTRAGEOUS RESPONSE. THESES CLEATS HAVE AN ENTIRELY WHITE SOLE. I HAVE MANY HIGH QUALITY, CLOSE UP PHOTOS. THERE IS NOT A PECK OF DUST ON THEM, LET ALONE ANY TYPE OF MARK. THE CLEATS WERE CLEARLY TOO SMALL, SO IT TOOK US ABOUT 3 SECONDS WITH THE FRONT OF HIS FOOT ENTERING THE CLEAT TO DECIDE WE NEEDED THE SIZE UP. While we recognize the customers frustration regarding our Return Policy, we must emphasize that GOAT is a marketplace and unable to operate similarly to a Retail Store. All items must be in the condition they were in when sent by GOAT, including but not limited to: no damage, original tags, no creases as a result of try-on and/or wear, no sole wear or debris, and all original packaging included to be eligible for return. As the shoes in question were shipped to the customer in a condition verified by our specialists as 'New' and were received in a condition that our specialists would deem 'Used', they are no longer covered by our Return Policy.

The customer chose to have the rejected return shipped back to them on 2/21/2018 and GOAT has not received any further correspondence at this time. If there is anything else we can help, we welcome the customer to contact GOAT directly for additional assistance.

I ordered a pair of shoes off of the goat website, emailed them multiple times about how to receive a refund and no response.
I ordered a pair of shoes off of the goat website. Before I received the product I sent them an email (only contact info they had) asking to cancel the order or receive a refund. When the shoes arrived, I sent 2 more emails asking for a refund. There was no response concerning my email for a refund. I placed the order on 2/7/18. My Order #:***. My autistic child snuck my debit card from my wallet and unknowingly and without comprehending how the app works, clicked on multiple pairs of shoes.
On Monday Feb. 12, I noticed charges on my bank account from various online sellers including goat.com. I immediately contacted my bank and reported fraud. The next day I realized, when a package was delivered to my home, that my autistic son had made multiple purchases without my knowledge, including An unknown number of pairs of sneakers through this app. On February 13th when I found the information on my son's phone I immediately emailed goat And specifically explain the situation. I did not hear back from them until February 16th after emailing them 3 times before any items were even shipped. Their website notes that it take 7 to 9 business days however it appears that they expedited these orders Rather than caring about the situation at hand. As a single mother of a disabled child I was beside myself due to all the purchases from various places a very expensive items. The customer service person at goat did not seem to care about my pleas for mercy.

Desired Outcome

I have notified my bank of my findings and they continue to work with me. I am asking for full refunds of items, NOT store credit. I have no need for 500 dollar collectors sneakers. I work for a living and care for my son. This is my mortgage payment! I am more than willing to pay shipping charges. There was MORE than enough time for goat to cancel these charges/shipments. I believe they have acted in bad faith.

This customer's ticket was escalated to our fraud department and it looks like they came to a resolution that the customer was happy with.

The unworn shoes will be returned to us and the customer agreed to keep the shoes that were already worn by their child.

On Wednesday February 14, 2018, I sold a pair of sneakers on the GOATapp sales platform. The sales order number was ***. I included all of the contents of the sneakers, which included a booklet and additional insoles. On Thursday February 15, as I was delivering the sneakers to UPS, I realized I forgot to include the booklet that came with the sneakers. I put the booklet behind the label and tapped it down. The package was received by GOAT on Friday February 16, 2018 at 11:03 a.m. The package was received by ***. The tracking for the package was ***. I was notified at 4:19p.m. there was an issue with the same, due to the booklet that came with the shoes being missing. At 4:20p.m. I replied to the email informing them that the "missing" booklet was behind the shipping label in the shipping sleeve I applied to the shipment. At 4:23p.m. I sent another email asking the company to please double check the sleeve as that is where I included the booklet. At 4:26p.m. I sent a longer email again stating that the booklet was behind the label. At 1-:24p.m. I opened a support ticket on the APP again stating that I sent the booklet with the shipment. I followed the ticket with an email. I received a reminder the next day (2/17) at 4:25am that I needed to address the concerns. I replied at 8:43a.m. that I had already responded several times and again stated the location of the booklet. I received another message at 10:23 to take an action on the order. At 11:11 I opened another support ticket. Then a third ticket at 4:09p.m. I sent another email and support ticket on 02/18 at 7;01a.m. Sunday night at 6:08 P.M. I received an email they could not take check again because they are swamped. I sent a more detailed email at 9:18p.m. I sent 6 more emails and support tickets. February 20, I received an email my order was canceled and I can get the shoes back and pay $27 for shipping or have them held for consignment.

They have been dismissive to the point a small claims court claim has been submitted.I have done business with the company since its inception and they have not been revert responsive and they have not provided must assurance in recovering my missing items.

I advertised my shoes (Gucci slides, size 13) on their app. I received notification of buyer and was provided a shipping label to send my shoes to the GOAT facility. I then received notification that my transaction was declined due to my shoes supposedly being a size 14 vice 13. I contacted GOAT to inform that my shoes were in fact a size 13 not size 14. They replied saying that my shoes were a size 14- which is not true. I then asked for my shoes to be mailed back to me- in which they were charging me $19.82 to receive my own product back. They said the invoice was supposedly sent to my PayPal account, but I have not received an invoice. I sent them yet another message informing them that I have received an invoice; however, no one has responded. I want the original size 13 Gucci slides *** returned to me.

On 1.23.18 I have purchased a pair of "New" Air Jordan 5 Retro OG BG 'Metallic' 2016 sneakers from GOAT. com Order#***
SKU#*** for $160.00 with my PayPal account. When I received the sneakers I noticed that what they sent me were sneakers that have "issues" such as discolorations, a damaged torn box, none of which were stated on the receipt. I contacted GOAT as soon as I recieved the item on January 27th. Also after doing a bit more research I found out that the same SKU#*** that is suppose to be on the "NEW" pair of sneakers that I bought, is also on used sneakers, and sneakers with "issues". After I brought this concern up to the support team I spoke with ***. from GOAT who's contract states that every pair of shoes is verified with the description stated, checked for damages, authenticity of the shoe, etc. The response that I got is that they are sorry, but the shoe is mass produced, and just a bunch of nonsense that has nothing to do with my concern of why did I not receive a pair of shoes that I paid for without "issues" with the shoe? And also why did they not check the condition of the shoe as they guarantee? *** Apologized, and offered a return, I have asked what will my refund be, because they also try to charge for shipping back, instead of providing a free return label. I haven't got a response back since. I honestly feel like I got taken advantage of as a first time customer.

I definitely want a billing adjustment, I will leave that up to their own discretion, as a professional business they should know that they were wrong, and used missleading information to make a few bucks instead of keeping a brand new subscriber who ordered a pair of shoes almost as soon as I got the application.

This complaint was resolved, with the customer, on 2/6.

Although we did not manufacture the shoes and the shoes were in New condition, a return was offered (for the common manufacturing inconsistencies) and the customer was satisfied with the resolution.

I sold this company shoes for $300.00. They emailed me a shipping label. I shipped them to their location where they would be authenticated and then I would receive the money online and it would be made available to cash out through PayPal. The processing fees knocked my total earnings down to $266. However, I have not been able to cash out my earnings into my paypal account. I've been in contact with them everyday and they are not resolving the issue so I can receive the money owed to me for the purchase they made from me. The order number is: ***

I only received a partial refund and the product is not real before I return it I took it to 3 different stores just to make sure the product was fake and all 3 store stated the same product was fake.

Once the shoes were received back at GOAT, they were handed to our verification team once more to be inspected for condition and authenticity before approving the return. Since the shoes were authentic, the refund was processed within the terms of our Return Policy with an exception made to receiving a GOAT credit, but as a refund to original form of payment, and less the cost of shipping.
