Customer is being refunded in full. This left in perfect condition but sorry about the way UPS handled the product

We have a very liberal return policy and have no restocking fees but do require customers to report damage within 48 hours of delivery as customer agrees to when placing the order. We also send an order confirmation email explaining this to the customer. The order was delivered on the 6th and...

request for return on the 16th well beyond the date. While we will take the product back the customer is responsible for the shipping charges.

I am rejecting this response because: I am not going to do this back and forth. I already made my case, their mistake is costing someone, not me, hundreds of dollars seeing that the black Friday sales are over. The sad facts of the matter are, these appliances are for a widow that has lost 2 sons to cancer, that got flooded out during Harvey, and we are donating all the labor on her house for free. The 50K cabinets were reduced to 13K through a Prosource in WA. The local church did all the tear out and re-drywall. On a totally separate note but same subject, I received a call from [redacted] on 12-8 at 5:59pm asking me if I still wanted the microwave, I told them I would check, and they said they would call me back in the morning. But when I got to my email, they had already cancelled the entire order at 3:02pm, which was fine. Never did receive that call. Now someone has recharged my credit card on 12-12 or 12-13 in the amount of $1079, which is the price of the microwave. I called [redacted] and am disputing the charge seeing that I have a “Refund Conformation” from this seller for the full amount of $1897.75. Maybe it was a slip up, maybe you are going to do something else, I don’t know, but I am out of state, and am in no way taking a microwave from you. I already purchased it for $960. Seeing that you included a quote from your website in the last response, I thought I would include one more from that same website. “Goedeker's Philosophy.” “We believe everything we do should be for the greater glory of God. I didn't know I was waiving my rights as a consumer when
I signed for delivery of a range, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, hood, and multiple boxes of accessories that shipped in 3 separate deliveries, over 4 months.
If the expectation is for a consumer to know if ALL pieces of an order are in a box, or that everything is in good shape, or that everything works from a look at a box is unfair.
How can anybody inspect the items of each SKU when they aren't shipped at the same time? when they are left at the bottom of my driveway in wooden boxes wrapped on crates? The best one can do is read the SKUs, match to boxes, and sign for delivery.
They claim waiting 5 months after delivery to file claim is excessive. I think waiting over 5 months for complete delivery of a paid-in-full order is excessive.
The replacement of missing/broken pieces is only $110. I didn't get all the parts and some where broken.
It's very selfish, greedy and unethical to not take responsibility for a $110 discrepancy on a $15,000 order by trying to place the blame on consumer for not examining the most minute part of the packing/merchandise.

I am rejecting this response because:
The company is lying. The item was shipped on 5/3 (which again I found out after the fact) but was not delivered on 5/3. I also never called, I only emailed and I emailed on 5/7. I'm not sure why they think it is my buildings job to provide shipping information to me about product but I NEVER received any shipping information from Goe until more than a week after I tried to cancel it. I repeat the item had NOT been delivered by the time I tried to cancel. If the item was not in my possession when I tried to cancel how can I be responsible for the item? Just because they put a stamp on it and send it out I'm now responsible?Again this item is one I did not want, the company shipped it anyways, when I tried to cancel they told me I couldn't, their entire customer service department has been incredible unprofessional and rude to me, and I would like a full refund. I'm happy to send the item back if they provide a box and shipping and pick up. I'm also a man not a lady. Clearly they are taking this case seriously.

Service has been out and determined this unit has no problem. Customer does not like the sounds the unit makes and all new refrigerators are equipped with a government mandated high efficiency compressor which is louder than the old type compressors. Customer can purchase a thousand units and they...

are all going to have this type compressor with the same noise level and getting another unit will not solve her issue. I am rejecting this response because:
There was a marked difference in finished quality between each of the end pull-out tables.  One  end-table had been finished to a good standard with sanded edges.  The other had not been sanded at all which resulted in a rough splintered finish.  I rejected this table as the unfinished end table posed a safety risk.I have closely examined this table in the [redacted] showroom and the display model had none of the defects of the tables that Goedekers sent me.

We agree the price mistake was ours and while rare they do happen at dealers large and small.  I am very sorry for website error. While these are rare they do happen. Our prices are still very good and lower than anyone we are aware of. I would be willing to offer you 10 year major component warranties on the items you purchased but is all I can do.Pricing errors and exclusions are not exclusive to us and happens everywhere. The rep who handled this made a mistake and misunderstood what the manager told him. The customer was offered $100.00 and we will honor this and refund the $100.00 We are sorry for this mistake and will take care of it.

I am rejecting this response because:I need a refund for the whiteglove shipping service that I paid for and did not receive in addition to the refund for the parts I did not receive.  I can't believe this company can't so much as provide an apology for the hassle I've gone through.  I would be appalled if one if one if my customers received damaged product, missing parts, and incomplete service.  I would absolutely never do business with this company again, not because of the mistakes, but because of how they have been handled.  I recommend anyone else reading this find another retailer.  There are plently of others out there that are not crooks.

In response to Goedeker's - I did not receive the recording.  In their response regarding my complaint they are telling Revdex.com.org that they sent me the recording but I did not receive.  Please verify the correct email and resend the voice recording to [redacted]@optonline.net.   The voice recording will resolve it all if they would send it to me.   Thank you,   [redacted]

We sent the customer an agreement for damage and an allowance for the damage and the customer agreed. We have refunded the customer as both parties agreed to
