This complaint is in regards to Estes claim #***. This shipment delivered clear and without exception and we have explained to Mr*** that we are willing to have this freight picked up and returned to the shipper for repairs. We will need return authorization from the shipper

Yes they delivered it, and the guy who made the delivery(***) was very apologetic, the big issue was that they schedule my delivery in and a block of time which was between the hours of 8-pm, and Este Express Line act like it was my fault that I couldn't wait until 2pm for a delivery, I figure if you make a schedule, keep a schedule or just let us know that we have a delivery for you today and we will call with a 30minute window when we are ready to deliver Thanks and for forgive me for my rant.....I believe in good customer service

Estes is most definitely responsible for mishandling the shipmentWe reject the unreasonable and unfair offer of $I contacted Mr*** *** (our client) again on 3/8/just to re-confirm the delivery scenario from October He did in fact re-state that the Estes driver rushed him to sign the form, not giving him a chance to inspect the shipmentHe said the driver told him “I need to go, I need to go…I have a deadline…hurry up, hurry up.” Mr*** did notice that pallet strap was broken and there was no IMMEDIATE VISIBLE damageIt was only when he opened the packaging that the damaged safe lock was revealedMr*** called us on 10/to inform us of the damageHow do you expect consumers to report damage if the drivers are rushing them and refusing to let an inspection happen? ***, the broker, was contacted on 10/and we let them know we needed to file a claim due to damageWe have email exchanges with dates and timesThe offer of $does not cover the replacement parts and labor it took to repair the damaged safeIf the freight costs are taken out of this summary, we are still owed $1,This covers the replacement drawer head piece, replacement safe lock and the labor to complete the repairIf you need us to resubmit everything again, we’d be happy to do that as wellWe did everything that we were supposed to doWe are not trying to get anything for free; we are simply requesting to be compensated for our lossesLosses like this greatly impact small businessesDo the right thing and accept the responsibility for the damageTo suggest the damage did not occur on Estes’ watch is mind-boggling

As you can see from the attached document it was not signed off on as "Good Order" That box is not checked It was signed for but it was not signed as in "Good Order" This is the copy that Estes gave me so if it was in fact signed off on as "Good Order" the box would be checked.This is Estes trying to get out of paying for an item they damaged

Their answer is not an answerthey need to deal with each claim individually, not make such a blanket statement, please have them reference each and every claim number individually and provide a legal explanation as to why they have denied each and every claimThank you *** ***
