I do not accept this answer. Harley Davidson corporate is just exploiting more money to the consumer. I cannot even say I will never buy another Harley Davidson or another product, but it disgust me that such a close HD brotherhood among riders you realize that they are just corporate and do not care except for the all mighty dollar. They are completely wrong in this situation as a consumer I feel robbed and held up without a gun. [redacted]

I still say it is poor craftmenship. It has not been ridden that much for this to be happening and will not be satified till it is made rite never received any ESP but was told it takes care of except ties and lite bulbles they might need to talk who sold it to me that there misrepersenting all there warranty

I received a response back from our [redacted] for that market and he said that since this motorcycle is over six years past the expiration of the warranty, we would not be able to provide any assistance with the repair.

I want it to be noted that I am unsatisfied with my purchase and over the course of owning the motorcycle, I continue to find more and more flaws where QC is lacking. Harley-Davidson shouts "his warranty is over"...I barely have 2000 miles on the bike. This will likely be the last Harley-Davidson product I purchase and I will encourage those I come in contact with both in person and online to follow suite. Harley-Davidson does not care about their customers they care about pumping out as many mediocre motorcycles as possible to fatten their wallets. The flaws in the paint are definitely factory, orange peel, fish eyes and so forth. Aside from the factory flaws there isn't a scratch on the bike as it has always been garaged and has never seen a drop of rain. Hopefully others will read this and beware of doing business with H-D.

Thank you for notifying me of Mr. [redacted]’ complaint (Revdex.com
number [redacted]).
I have investigated this file and found that Harley-Davidson’s
Customer Service was contacted on March 1, 2016 regarding corrosion on multiple
areas of his 2016 FLTRXS, Vehicle Identification Number 1HD1KTM10GB608665.
Mr. [redacted] submitted photos of the affected
areas on March 2, 2016. A Customer Service Specialist replied to Mr. [redacted]’
emails, explaining that corrosion is not a
defect in materials or workmanship. Mr. [redacted] was referred to an authorized Harley-Davidson
dealer to determine which maintenance product is best suited for his needs.
Mr. [redacted] contacted us on March 15, 2016 and spoke with a
different Customer Service Specialist who reiterated this information.
The 2016 Touring Owner’s Manual has a section beginning on
page 217 which explains Cleaning and General Care of the motorcycles. This
section includes a listing of all tested and approved Harley-Davidson Cleaning
and Care Products.
If Mr. [redacted] has any questions regarding the use of these
products any authorized Harley-Davidson dealership would be happy to assist.
Mr. [redacted] referenced a brake fluid leak on the motorcycle. This
issue should also be addressed at any authorized Harley-Davidson dealer.

were recorded under reference number 2532588. Mr.
[redacted]’s motorcycle has been inspected at Reiman’s Harley-Davidson, an
authorized dealership and it is has been determined his XM radio is operating

Thank you for your message.  All Harley-Davidson Dealerships are administrators of the Limited Warranty, which is why you were referred back to the dealership. I have talked to [redacted], owner of the Dealership, and he said your motorcycle was repaired and returned to you.  If you are having concerns with your motorcycle, please contact the dealership.  Thank you.

I have investigated this file and found that Mr. [redacted] contacted
Harley-Davidson Customer Service on June 12, 2017 regarding his 2015 FLTR,
Vehicle Identification Number [redacted]....

Mr. [redacted] stated his
motorcycle was in the service department of Raging Bull Harley-Davidson, an
authorized Harley-Davidson dealership. Mr. [redacted] is not satisfied that our
Technical Service group had authorized flywheels to assist with the repair of
the motorcycle.
 
It was discussed with Mr. [redacted] that the Limited Factory Warranty on his
motorcycle expired on May 5, 2017, and the flywheels were offered as a gesture
of customer satisfaction. Mr. [redacted] stated he wanted Harley-Davidson Motor
Company to provide him with all the required parts to repair his motorcycle.
His intention was to perform the repair himself. It was explained to Mr. [redacted] that
Harley-Davidson Motor Company will not participate in repairs performed outside
the authorized dealer network.
 
I contacted Raging Bull Harley-Davidson and learned that the motorcycle
currently has approximately 21,000 miles, and the dealership has no history of
any routine maintenance services. Mr. [redacted] stated this work has been performed
at a non-authorized motorcycle shop.
 
For the reasons listed above Mr. [redacted]’s request for Harley-Davidson to
supply him with motorcycle parts which he valued at $2600 is denied.

Thank you for finally giving me the page references needed to properly care for my $20,000+ motorcycle that is not prepared for the elements from the factory. I am still awaiting an explanation of the process that was taken to determine Harley Davidson would not cover the corrosion on my motorcycle and the exact reason as to why it was determined to be somehow my fault. I have also asked for the original PDI Repair Order from the dealer that shows there was not an issue from the factory.  I have sent many emails askjng for this information with no luck. Thank you
