your correspondence dated November 19, 2017 pertaining to the above captioned matter. Our records indicate that the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (“Tollway”) placed six accounts for Ms. [redacted]’s with our office for collection beginning on June 27, 2016 with the last account being placed on September 16, 2017. These accounts are for unpaid toll violations under notice numbers [redacted], and [redacted]. These notices were issued on April 19, 2016, July 11, 2016, July 26, 2016, November 1, 2016, January 23, 2017, and April 17, 2017 respectively to Ms. [redacted] as the registered owner of the vehicle bearing Illinois license plate [redacted]. Please be advised that each of the violations included in these notices occurred before the date Ms. [redacted]’s asserts she sold her car.  Ms. [redacted] may view the particulars of each violation by visiting the Tollway’s website at: https://www.getipass.com/violations. Please note that the Tollway follows all noticing and fine assessment guidelines imposed by the Illinois Administrative Code.  Notices issued by the Tollway conspicuously list the consequences for non-payment of the fines and failure to request a hearing within the allotted timeframe.  By Ms. [redacted]’s non-payment of the original fines and fees and failure to request a hearing within this timeframe, she became liable to the Tollway for the original toll fees plus all applicable fines.Notwithstanding the foregoing, upon receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s complaint our office removed her phone numbers ending in [redacted] and [redacted] from her accounts and placed them on our internal “Do-Not-Call” list. Accordingly, she will no longer receive phone calls from our office at those numbers. If Ms. [redacted] has any additional questions or concerns, she may contact our Compliance Department at 312-[redacted]. We hope this serves to clarify the issues raised.Sincerely,Harris & Harris, Ltd.

the Revdex.com. We are in receipt of your correspondence dated February 18, 2015 pertaining to the above captioned matter. We have had an opportunity to review our file and feel that we have reached an amicable resolution.
Please be advised a medical services provider placed two of Ms. [redacted]'s accounts with our office for collection on July 28, 2014 and then subsequently on August 8, 2014. Shortly after placement of these accounts, our office sent an initial delinquency notification letter to Ms. [redacted] at the address she provided to our client upon admission. At no point did Ms. [redacted] ever speak with one of our representatives and dispute the balance or demand that our office cease calling a particular number. Our office also followed up with a letter several weeks later advising Ms. [redacted] that both accounts would be sent to the credit bureaus for reporting if they remained unpaid. We received no reply to this letter.
Notwithstanding the following, Ms. [redacted]'s dispute has now been notated on our account files. We have ceased all collection activity on her accounts and will reach out to our client in an effort to address her dispute. We will also notify the credit bureaus to delete any negative reporting on these accounts. If Ms. [redacted] has any proof of payment, she may contact our Compliance Department at (XXX) XXX-XXXX or [redacted]@harriscollect.com for instruction on submitting the proof. We will otherwise follow up with Ms. [redacted] as necessary.
Sincerely,

Harris & Harris, Ltd.

We are in receipt of your correspondence dated April 21, 2016 pertaining to the above captioned matter. Our records indicate that in September of 2015, [redacted] Memorial Hospital (“[redacted]”) placed two accounts for Ms. [redacted] with our office for collection. On April 21, 2016, we contacted Ms. [redacted] regarding these accounts and at that time she requested that our office cease calling her. Our representative promptly removed Ms. [redacted]’ phone number from the accounts and, contrary to her assertions, our office did not make any further attempts to contact her.Upon receipt of Ms. [redacted]’ complaint, our office reached out to [redacted] for clarification of this matter. In response, [redacted] indicated that Ms. [redacted]’ payments were applied to several other accounts she has, and that the balance on the two aforementioned accounts remains due and owing. Notwithstanding the foregoing, our office has placed a courtesy hold on Ms. [redacted]’ accounts and added her number to our internal “Do-Not-Call” list. Accordingly, she will no longer be contacted by our office at that number. If Ms. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns, she may contact our [redacted] Department at ([redacted] or [redacted]@harriscollect.com.  We hope this serves to clarify the issues raised.Sincerely,Harris & Harris, Ltd.
