Haymarket Designs Reviews (157)

Ordered a pillow for my sister's bday. Never received the pillow. Sent several emails which have never been answered. Sent a [redacted] message. filed a complaint with [redacted]. Adorable designs, terrible business.

I have ordered from Haymarket Designs twice and have loved my items both times. I first ordered a lucite tray for a wedding present two years ago and then recently I ordered koozies for my husbands 40th birthday party. They were so great to work with to incorporate everything I wanted in the koozie design. I love how they turned out and got lots of compliments. I came across the negative reviews on here in a recent google search and wanted to share my positive experience. I will be ordering again this holiday season!

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. Ordered a doormat ONE MONTH AGO!! I thought I would check on it 2 weeks ago for a "order status" and STUPID ME found they don't have such a thing. There is also NO telephone number to contact. Another thing they offer a form for you to fill out and send them a note/email and to which NO reply to my first 2 weeks ago and today I sent another one! No idea if my item is shipped? (which is $10 for one item) or anyway to get a hold of this so-called company. It surprised me this day and age a company can get away with this!

The customer has been refunded for her order. [redacted]

The koozies were delivered on Tuesday May 13th as promised. [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The company has intentionally been untruthful to Revdex.com.  As stated in my complaint, I emailed Haymarket on July 27th (see attached) and advised I was filing a complaint with my credit card company for the money to be refunded.  They were put on notice THEN that I was not satisfied with their customer service and they were still unresponsive.  On July 30th, I received a letter from the credit card company saying they had investigated and credited my card. (See attached).  In their response to Revdex.com, Haymarket said it 2.5 weeks after I had received the item when I requested the charges reversed on my card.  This is a blatant mistruth.  The money was refunded five days before the item was even shipped.  They have a history of not being responsive to their customers so I saw no responsibility on my part to continue to attempt to contact them after they shipped the item in question.
Regards,
Wendy Foster

We have been in contact with Ms. [redacted] since April 2nd when she received her personalized beach towel and said she was not happy with it because it was not 100% cotton. We apologized for the mistake of old info on our FAQ page but pointed out that our product pages all have correct info and...

we have a gallery of photos of actual towels (http://www.haymarketdesigns.com/pages/BeachTowelGallery.htm). We have sold over 2,000 of our personalized beach towels in the past three years with no complaint that they were not 100% cotton.  We explained to Ms. [redacted] that all of our personalized goods were final sale because it was custom made with her color selection and Monogram  but offered her the option to return it, minus the original shipping and restocking fee (for the time in creating her custom design). These are the terms stated in our return policy, also on the the FAQ page (http://www.haymarketdesigns.com/pages/Returns.htm). We also gave her the option to keep the beach and refund her a portion of the sale for our mistake. Ms. [redacted] did not like either option and has since emailed us twice threatening to get a lawyer. We responded again with the options to return her personalized towel or keep it with a partial refund, both of which we feel are fair due to the custom personalization of the beach towel and correct information and pictures on our product pages and gallery. We have also since updated the FAQ to have the correct beach towel info.

On March 24th I ordered 1 bridesmaids coozie (I was worried about ordering all 8 without knowing what they looked like. Good thing I only ordered 1). It says on the site it takes 2-3 weeks to receive. On April 26th I emailed haymarket asking about my purchase. I received an email back saying my purchase was scheduled to be shipped that next week. It is June 29th and still have not received the 1 coozie I ordered. I finally gave up and ordered them from [redacted] (amazing costumer service and takes 1 week to receive). If you are thinking about ordering from haymarket designs do not. You might not receive it and they will lie to you about it.

I placed an order in November (Order ID: [redacted]) for koozies and wine totes for my bridal party totaling close to $300. I have since tried to contact haymarket two times with no response

The two rounds of proofs were sent to the customer on Dec 11 and January 3rd. She asked for the 2nd round of proofs on December 25 and because we were closed for the holidays we responded with the second round of proofs on January 3rd.
The customer said she sent an Jan 16 and Feb 1 which we do not have record of. When she forwarded the email we noticed she did not sent it to the correct address "[redacted]" and we pointed this our the cause of her not receiving a response to those emails.(email chain below)
The $15 deposit is a non refundable deposit that covers mock ups for wedding koozie designs. Most customers have the deposit credited towards their order but if they decide not order the deposit pays for the time spent on mock ups. Both rounds of the customers mock ups are [redacted].

It was the "hers" mug and judging by the poor excuse for a wrap job, I'd say it would be your fault not [redacted]. After the replacement arrives you can be sure that I will never order from this "company" again and I'll be sure to inform everyone I know.

It's good to see that when you request something it needs to be done right away but when I am waiting for 2 months for choral mad gifts it goes at your leisure. What a wonderful company.

Hello: I wrote complaint to you last week about Haymarket Designs. I would now like to amend or withdraw that complaint and am having trouble doing so online. Here is the update: I finally received a return email from Hilary (once she was contacted by you), and two days...

later she sent me the koozies. I needed them on 9.13 for a weekend getaway with friends that began on 9.14. I gave Hilary the address of the Florida beach house we were staying in, and she sent the koozies directly there. They arrived on 9.16 and I gave the gifts out at that time (two days late – but at least people received them). Because I did ultimately get the product and the condition of the koozies was as expected, I am happy to withdraw my complaint. Thank you for your assistance. I am 100% confident that your involvement was the only reason I actually got the items I purchased! I would not recommend this vendor nor would I use them in the future. Thanks again,[redacted]

We received one email from the customer on May 27th saying she thought she ordered through[redacted]. This order has already been delivered to the following address given.

I have attempted several times to follow up on this order. I made the mistake of thinking I place this order through [redacted] and that's not the case I guess. I have not received the beach towel I ordered and it has been well over the three week processing window. My credit card has been charged I'd I like to follow up on the status of this order.
---------------------------------

A few years ago I shopped at a Junior League holiday sale and purchased a few items from Haymarket Designs. The ones I was able to walk away with that day were great. The items that were to be delivered never arrived.
Now, I am a bride trying to plan my wedding and ordered some [redacted]. The company replied straight away until I paid. The week before one item was supposed to be received, I emailed asking for a status and they said they had the item completed but didnt have my address though it was provided on the invoice. I sent the address and the item was received. The white was alittle off color but overall, really great product.
The other items I tried to order, I paid for the proof and after 3 emails following up, received the proof but then have never heard back after asking for a change or for info on how to order. Like the reviews before me, they seem to take your money to make proofs but not want to provide the product.
