Haymarket Designs Reviews (157)

I received a wedding gift 2 months late. I followed their online policy and immediately contacted the company along with the friend who purchased the gift for me. Still no response and I have a towel with the name [redacted] on it, my name is [redacted] There was no return address on shipping label and I'm afraid to send it back to address on their website because of the lack of response. I just want the correct towel as it was a special wedding gift!

DO NOT BUY FROM HAYMARKET DESIGNS! I bought [redacted] from them to give to my bridesmaids. They color I received was not the color that I thought I would be getting, which is fine. I emailed them and asked about changing the color, they told me that would be fine and to send them back to them and they would get some more into production for me the next day. Perfect. I sent her an email with the color I wanted them and never got a response. That was 2.5 weeks ago. Sent an email last week asking about my [redacted]. Nothing. Sent another email yesterday and still have received anything. My [redacted] were over $100 and I have nothing to show for it. Do not use them. They take your money and don't respond. Extremely disappointed in this business.

I have an additional screenshot of the ordering page where I selected my towel but it would only allow me 4 attachments. I can send the additional screenshot under separate cover if needed. I sent the ones that I feel are most pertinent. As you can see on the screenshots, on the customization page it has a warning that colors may vary due to "printing on the cotton terry material". And on the FAQ page it describes the towel as "100% cotton." Of course this is no longer there since it was deleted soon after I contacted them. In my original email response from Hillary at Haymarket Designs she admitted that the website had outdated and incorrect information.Nowhere on this website did it describe the towels as poly blend. In fact, that's why I went to the FAQ section in the first place because I couldn't find a description of the towels. Once I thought I had confirmation that the towel was 100% cotton I placed my order. The whole purpose of a FAQ section is to answer "frequently asked questions" such as "what are your towels made of?".That is my whole argument as to why I should receive a full refund. On the day I ordered (and also on the day I received) the website described the towel as 100% cotton but the product I received was not. They've updated their website soon after I contacted them and in fact if you go there now you will see that this verbiage has been deleted.I ordered what I expected was a 100% cotton towel and that's what I expected to receive. If the company cannot deliver what they advertised, then I feel I am entitled to a full refund.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed...

action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Though they refunded the item, they did not refund the full price of shipping. The total was $**, but they refunded $**. They also did not respond to any of my emails or apologize for their lack of contact. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I found them very disrespectful--their only remedy verbally to my complaint was that they had "shipped some to [redacted] and they loved them." I felt that my order was completely pushed to the side for a major name brand.

Hello:
sans-serif;">
I wrote complaint to you last week about Haymarket Designs. I would now like to amend or withdraw that complaint and am having trouble doing so online.

Here is the update:

I finally received a return email from Hilary (once she was contacted by you), and two days later she sent me the koozies.

I needed them on 9.13 for a weekend getaway with friends that began on 9.14.

I gave Hilary the address of the Florida beach house we were staying in, and she sent the koozies directly there.

They arrived on 9.16 and I gave the gifts out at that time (two days late – but at least people received them).

Because I did ultimately get the product and the condition of the koozies was as expected, I am happy to withdraw my complaint.

Thank you for your assistance. I am 100% confident that your involvement was the only reason I actually got the items I purchased!

I would not recommend this vendor nor would I use them in the future.

Thanks again,
[redacted]

STAY AWAY!
I used Haymarket Designs to order bachelorette koozies for my friends bachelorette weekend three years ago. The experience was great. They arrived on time, were easy to work with, etc. etc.
SO... I decided to use the company again this year when ordering for another friend's bachelorette weekend this year. WORST. DECISION. EVER.
I emailed the company on 08/08/16 inquiring about ordering the koozies, knowing I was in a bit of a time crunch. I noted this in my email. They emailed me back that night and said this was no problem, they could even rush my order free of charge. Lucky me! They sent all the forms & documentation I needed to complete, I filled everything out, they sent an invoice, I sent over all the last pieces of info they needed, and everything was charged to my credit card and good to go by the end of the day on 08/09/16. They told me the koozies would ship in two weeks, leaving me with a week and a half before I left for the bachelorette party. GREAT! SO EXCITED!
Two weeks go by. No koozies. 2.5 weeks. Nothing. Three weeks. I'm nervous. I leave in 2 days. I send an email asking about the status of my order. Is there a tracking number? An update? Anything? No response. 24 hours go by. Nothing. I leave in 36 hours. I send another email. Tracking number? Are they going to be here? No response.
This is about 1pm on Wednesday. I'm scheduled to leave the following evening, on Thursday night. Wednesday is also the day I requested the koozies to be in my possession at. the. absolute. latest. I send another email. No response. At about 4 pm, I get an email notification from USPS. They've sent the koozies. That day. On the day I requested I needed them. At the absolute latest. I send another email noting that while I appreciate the USPS notification, they have not responded to any of my other emails/ concerns.
Long story short... I'm leaving for my best friends bachelorette party tonight. I wanted to surprise her with koozies she would love, keep, and enjoy forever. I've now sent Haymarket Designs four emails since Tuesday and they've responded to none. I've called the phone number provided and it's a disconnected number. I've tried this phone number maybe 3 times now. I'm now out over $100 and still have no koozies to show for it, as promised. The tracking number cannot be found.
Again... STAY AWAY from this company. I absolutely, positively would not recommend them to anyone. One of the WORST customer service experiences I've ever had!

On March 24th I ordered 1 bridesmaids coozie (I was worried about ordering all 8 without knowing what they looked like. Good thing I only ordered 1). It says on the site it takes 2-3 weeks to receive. On April 26th I emailed haymarket asking about my purchase. I received an email back saying my purchase was scheduled to be shipped that next week. It is June 29th and still have not received the 1 coozie I ordered. I finally gave up and ordered them from [redacted] (amazing costumer service and takes 1 week to receive). If you are thinking about ordering from haymarket designs do not. You might not receive it and they will lie to you about it.

Review: On May 9th, I ordered a towel and immediately $66 was drafted out of my bank account. I contacted Haymarket on June 22nd inquiring about the status of my order. On June 24th, Hilary email back stating that my order had been shipped that same day. On July 1st, I still had not received a shipping confirmation so I emailed again with no response from Haymarket. As of today, July 7th, I still have not received my order, my shipping confirmation or a response from Haymarket.Desired Settlement: At this point, I just want my money back and will go elsewhere for what I was needing. I no longer will do business with Haymarket.

On June 2, 2015, I purchased a personalized monogrammed coffee mug for a friend's birthday. The item description stated to give 2-3 weeks for the production before the item would be shipped. My bank statement says my account was charged the day after the purchase was made (June 3rd). I waited 3 1/2 weeks and then decided to e-mail the company to check the status of my order, as I had not received any word on shipping or anything. I received an e-mail back from someone named [redacted] that said the mug would be finished in production and sent out by the end of the week. I waited another week and still had not received the mug. I e-mailed again asking about the status and didn't receive a response. I've e-mailed almost every week since then and have received no response from any of them. I also made complaint on FB website and did not get a response there either. I've asked for a refund and have received no response. Poor customer service. Poor communication. I am currently in the process of trying to get my money put back on my debit card by card services. I was told by my bank that more than likely, I'm going to have to cancel my debit card and get a new one. Very irritating and could have been avoided, but I'm not paying $30 for something that was never received. Now, I will have to change all of my auto-pay accounts online because of this companies poor service. DO NOT USE HAYMARKET DESIGNS. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Ordered a pillow for my sister's bday. Never received the pillow. Sent several emails which have never been answered. Sent a [redacted] message. filed a complaint with [redacted]. Adorable designs, terrible business.

Review: I initally found Haymarket Designs on January 2014 to order koozies for my wedding. The inital inquiry was responded to in a timely manner and I was billed $15 to get a proof of my product on 2/5. A month went by and I got a proof and responded immeaditely. A month went by and I recieved an updated proof with an email that said " I apologize for the delay! We have been trying to wrap up a bunch of March and early April wedding this week!"

I asked for a proof of the koozie bottom and another month went by after numerous emails and I got an email stating that they never recieved my approval..."I'm just going through open orders now and realized we haven't heard from you about the latest round of mock ups. Let us know if you have any changes or are ready to order!"I then asked for the proof of the bottom in early April and I have yet to hear anything. This open order has been pending for almost 4 months for 200 koozies. I have sent over 10 emails, messages, tweets, etc., and I have yet to hear anything. I am VERY dissapointed on how a company like this can stay in business. I needed my product for a party last weekend and I am left with nothing.Desired Settlement: I wish to be refunded for a proof of a procduct that I never had the chance of ordering.

Regards,

Hi there,

I just wanted to let you know I received the letter in the mail regarding Haymarket Designs response. I did get my money back, but the ultimate concern of me making this claim is that brides, like myself, do not fall into the trap of ordering form them. The response they sent back that I never 'approved' the product is absolutely a false claim and it is pathetic that they would say that. I have a string of emails of evidence and it really upsets me that they will continue to stay a business. Please let me know if you need any more info.

I Placed 2 orders with Haymarket designs. One on 7/4 and the other on 7/12, and was charged in full when the orders were placed. On 7/27 I emailed them, inquiring about the 1st order. They said I'd receive tracking info on 8/3 and have the order by 8/5. Neither order appeared. Emailed them again on 8/7 & 8/13. No response. Finally found their phone #, called and it's disconnected. So .... DO NOT PLACE ANY ORDERS with Haymarket Designs!!! Right now [redacted] is disputing this. I think they must be out of business.
