[PNC BANK has not responded to me at all on or before September 3rd. I have not received a response from them otherwise. I am requesting that they close the accounts at a zero balance, like originally asked and NOT send them to collections because of a mistake they and also not to send the account to check systems based on the mistake they made. Regards,

April 10, 2018[redacted]RE: Revdex.com - Case Number [redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted]:This is in response to your complaint filed on February 16, 2018, with the Revdex.com regarding your PNC Bank, National Association (“PNC”) Automobile...
Installment Loan Account ending in [redacted] (the “Loan”). I attempted to reach you by telephone and e-mail on February 20 and 23, 2018, and by mail on February 27, 2018, but was unsuccessful in reaching you. I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. In your complaint you stated that the vehicle securing the Loan was in an accident in December of 2017, and was deemed a total loss. You stated that the insurance payment was applied to the balance of the Loan, but you have received late notices indicating that a balance is still owed. You stated that you were never previously informed that you would be required to continue payments until the Insurance and Gap Insurance payments were applied to the Loan. You requested that all interest and late fees be removed until the Gap Insurance payment is made and that any negative reports against your credit be removed. Our records indicate that on December 17, 2017, [redacted]. notified PNC that the vehicle securing the Loan was a total loss as of December 12, 2017. In accordance with the Retail Installment Sale Contract (the “Contract”), Section 2 a. You agree to pay us all you owe under this contract even if the vehicle is damaged, destroyed, or missing. On December 18, 2017 during a three way call between Mr. [redacted], PNC, and a representative from Geico Salvage, Mr. [redacted] was advised that during the insurance payoff process, he was not released from financial responsibility of the vehicle. This financial responsibility would also apply to you as a joint signer on the Loan. According to the Contract, the Loan was opened on December 17, 2016, with a monthly payment due in the amount of [redacted] starting January 31, 2017. A copy of the Contract is enclosed for your records. In the event of a total loss, it is standard practice for PNC to apply payments from insurance, cancelled warranties, and GAP insurance payments to the principal balance of the Loan as they are received.Since the payments are applied to the principal balance, they do not satisfy the outstanding monthly payment obligation due, accrued interest and other charges that may have been assessed on the Loan as defined in the Contract. Our records reflect PNC received the following payments from your primary insurance and the GAP insurance, which were applied correctly to your Loan’s principal balance.Source Amount Date ReceivedGAP Insurance $** February 9, 2018Primary Insurance January 5, 2018These payments did not satisfy the balance owed on the Loan. The payoff as of April 10, 2018, is $[redacted] and the per diem is currently $|** Our records reflect the last payment you made to the Loan was on March 29, 2018, in the amount of$[redacted]. The monthly payment is still due for January 1, 2018. According to our records, on April 6, 2018 you advised that you anticipate the remaining balance to be paid by funds from your cancelled warranty with the dealership, as of April 9, 2018 those funds have not been received. To make payment arrangements on the amount owed, you may contact our Recovery Department at [redacted], Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. E.T.It is PNC’s practice to refund any fees assessed as the result of a bank error, which did not occur in this instance. However, PNC is sympathetic to your situation. On February 16, 2018 a late fee of $** was waived on your Loan as a courtesy. As there is a balance still owed on the loan, no bank error was involved, and PNC accurately reported to the credit bureau agencies, PNC respectfully declines your request for credit reporting to be removed. While you were correctly notified of your financial responsibility, on behalf of PNC, I apologize if our service level did not meet our commitment to you.Thank you for allowing me to clarify PNC’s position in this matter. Should you have additional questions, I may be reached at [redacted]’ Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. (ET).Sincerely,Executive Client RelationsEnclosures PNC Reference Number This is an attempt to collect a debt and/or enforce our lien.
