I placed a call on Saturday to Horizon for a leaking hot water tank I was told someone would be at my home by 11:to give me an estimate At 11:Quintin was knocking at the doorHe put his shoe booties on and assessed the leaking tankI called several others with quotes but Horizon was the only one to come over to see what was leaking before quoting a priceTheir price was better than all others and beating the "*** ***"guys by nearly $ I also had a special hot water tank not only is it LP gas but also has a blower to force air out to the exhaustHe called the office, its a Sunday, while Quintin was removing the old tank a delivery driver was on his way with my style tank.The professional approach and installation was very goodQuintin insisted I inspect his work and said if I find anything that I didn't like he would correct it.A company is only as good as their service and Quintin is top notch and shows his passion for his workHe also commented that Horizon was the best company he ever worked at, and it showed

We used Horizon to do winter service on our heating system and the technician noticed a potential issue on the hot water heater which was about years oldWe call Horizon that same day to inspect the hot water heater and Keith K*** recommended a replacement due to severity of the issue and that the heater was years oldHe said he could come any time that was convenient for us and provided a competitive price to install a new gal power vented hot waterHe came back on a Sunday and with his team and did an exceptional job completing the jobThey were respectful of our home and time and took great care to make sure we were informed all along the way and happy with the work they didI will recommend Horizon and Keith and also appreciate the heating technician, Matt Kazicky, who identified the issueGreat job by the entire Horizon team including the customer service support team

Below is the most recent response for this Revdex.com complaint ID# [redacted] with [redacted]  “On September 8, 2017, a Horizon Services technician arrived at [redacted] home to perform a scheduled 21 point inspection/tune up on his Propane furnace. While completing this tune up, our technician discovered what he believed to be a crack in the heat exchanger. Per our standard operating procedure, we sent out another HVAC Technician to perform a confirmation inspection of the heat exchanger. Upon inspection of the heat exchanger our second technician confirmed the crack. [redacted] Called in to Horizon Services on 9/13/2017 stating that he received a quote from another company to replace the heat exchanger and would like us to match that price in order to remain a customer. Our HVAC Service Manager agreed to heavily discount the replacement, but it is not Horizon Services’ policy to match pricing from other vendors. We tried to reach out to [redacted] multiple times but did not receive any contact back. We are very sorry to hear [redacted] is not satisfied, but stand behind the diagnosis of our Technicians and have attached the picture of the crack taken while the technician was onsite, as well as the heat exchanger policy that Horizon Services requires all technicians to sign, and the Carbon Monoxide brochure that is given to homeowners should a cracked heat exchanger be discovered. It is refreshing to actually get what is advertised from the company in real life. Pat D from Horizon Services was the consummate professional. He arrived in the sweltering heat of Saturday to address a leaking boiler. Once shown where the problem was he got right to work and maybe thirty minutes later he was done, and explained what the problem was. I did not get charged, because it was serviced just two months ago. That is what I call customer service. I have had other work done by Horizon services previously, I would call them again. In fact, I am getting an estimate for additional work next week.

We had a clogged toilet issue that Horizon technician Kenneth H. came to help us with. Ken was professional and helpful. He solved the issue pretty quickly and cleaned up the area after the work was done. I would definitely recommend Horizon for such issues.

Horizon comes out to maintain our heating and air conditioning equipment. They call ahead of time to confirm the appointment. The customer service personnel are always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The technicians arrive on time. They wear footies to keep my house clean! They are friendly, courteous and efficient. So far their work has been excellent. I am pleased with the thoroughness of their work and the price is fair. I recommend Horizon to all my neighbors!
