He was a professional maintenance guys, completed his job efficiently and ensured both heating and cooling work fine before leaving unlike our earlier maintenance person from [redacted] service company.Never go with [redacted] service you will be wasting your hard earned money. I changed my service provider even though we had 10 years labour free service contract for our Heating Cooling system with them

Our install was fine, but we were promised a $100 referral check for sending a friend to hutchinson. We never received our check and were ignored by our salesperson jeff, and also ignored when we wrote to customer service. Our next step is to file a complaint.

Had heater maintenance and service today by technician [redacted] from Hutchinson. He is awesome, spends extra time and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is performing at it's best and is clean and well maintained. Joe is always
respectful and helpful. I feel secure and relieved when he comes to check or fix my

We sent our Service Manager to the location to inspect the unit.  He found an defective gas valve when he arrived.
Another company said it had a cracked heat ex changer but we couldn't find one. We replaced the gas valve and ran the system to make sure everything else was...

Where do I begin? I submitted the contract back to them in late June. They cashed my 1/2 deposit check in the first week of July and never called to schedule an appointment. After I hounded them for an install date, they agreed to 7/31. That day they show up and take away my outside AC condenser unit and then realize that they have no permit. They then leave and say they will return. Several weeks go by and then they show up to finish the install. Still no permit. They say they have to come back for an inspection. On 9/17, they set time for permit inspection between 8am-2pm. No inspection completed and crew leaves. They blame it on the town inspector not showing up. Still have no idea when my job will be completed of if I will just get my money back. Have requested the CEO to call me to discuss constructive business process improvements. NO CALL. My personal experience with this company from multiple touch points is horrendous. I would not recommend them to anyone. Also, they were $2000 more than a local quote(which I should have just accepted but I knew the sales rep and threw him a bone so to speak).

Kyle [redacted] serviced our air conditioner today. He was very thorough and explained what he had done during the servicing. As always, we were pleased with one of Hutchinson's employees. Kyle was polite, helpful, and wore his "booties."

I had a hot water heater installed today(2/19/2016). Terry was the installer. He was friendly and personable. He demonstrated excellence knowledge of the hot water heater and was forthcoming in offering complete understanding of what I was purchasing and why it was appropriate for my needs. His installation was extremely efficient. He was cautious about making a "mess" in my home. The work area was cleaned up. He willingly explained all the parts of the heater and how it operated.
I feel very confident that I made the right choice in purchasing my hot water heater from Hutchinson Plumbing and Heating.

In reviewing the information provided we did receive phone calls for service of the unit installed in 2012.  Although our phone system records indicate disconnected calls after approximately 3 minutes our internal process requires a faster response time.  We apologize for any...

I have reviewed your service history to see if things could have been handled differently to reduce the number of trips to repair your heater.
I see that the problem was a noise coming from your inducer motor on the heater. We ran to the vendor and picked up the motor...

because it is not on our standard truck stock and installed same day on 1/13.We then came back twice because the new assembly was making a noise. Each time we made adjustments to the assembly and the noise was fixed. We then came back on the 29th and installed a second inducer assembly and also recommended that you replace the pilot divert er which had been cut by others and that you should consider replacing the heater do to it's condition.
I apologize for multiple visits but we used the proper parts from the manufacturer which were defective. I have spoken to the technicians and recommended that they should have replaced the new inducer on the next visit instead of trying to make it work.

Today Hutchinson Plumbing, Heating and Cooling came to our home to perform the annual A/C maintenance. The representative was Carey T[redacted] We were very impressed with Mr. T[redacted] He arrived on time, he was knowledgeable and extremely respectful. He wore booties in the home and he explained everything that he had done. We were very pleased with the service which was performed by Mr. T[redacted]

Nelson was on time, knowledgable, & completed servicing our heating & air conditioning unit in a timely manner. Thank you!

Following a system installation date on or around September 2012 the heating system required service in February 2014.  Each request for service was performed per the service agreement and warranty specifications. Although one request for service was non-mechanical in nature and the...

issue was remedied by replacing a wiring harness a separate issue arose that involved a pressure sensor.  In working with the manufacturer to resolve the remaining issue it was determined a new circuit board was needed and as such Hutchinson arranged with Mr. [redacted] to have the new circuit board installed on March 14, 2014.  Mr. [redacted] initial demand to receive $2,000 for consequential damages directly related to alleged loss time and other reasons was denied by the company as well as his pending request to remove the system.  Hutchinson continues to perform under the terms of the sales agreement and values Mr. [redacted] as a customer.  Hutchinson will continue to work with Mr. [redacted] to ensure the system performs at the required level and/or evaluate other options.

Called for a water leak in my main water line - a Live person answered the phone :) They had someone available - John C. showed up within 2 hours, fixed the problem and charged a reasonable fee. Good Job! Thank you

Mark [redacted] our service manager has spoken with the client. He reviewed how the process should take place and apologized that the process wasn't followed.
He then used this opportunity to perform a coaching season with the technician so this doesn't happen in the future.
We also refunded the customer her money for her inconvenience of the service call.

I had had a horrendous experience with Hutchinson 10 years ago when they left me in an unheated new home during a weekend snowstorm without any recourse to emergency help. There was a feeble apology from a "manager" a week later but I chose to withdraw from their orbit and get heating help from a small, local business which had a good reputation. That has been a good choice.
I turned, somewhat reluctantly to Hutchinson to get a quote on a replacement water heater when a neighbor in my development got a good price from them on hers. They upcharge 15% if you don't have a service contract with them, but even with that, Hutchinson came in $800 less than than the next closest estimate, and $1300 less than the highest one. I chose them for this job, without an ongoing service contract. Their way is a bit "off" but I was ready for it: the salesman/estimator arrived 15 minutes early - without calling to check if this was okay. He walked in with a second man, described as his supervisor, saying he "hoped" I wouldn't mind. I actually minded the small deceptions of both acts, but hey $800 was at stake.
The sales person forgot to write down all aspects of the agreed on work. I insisted I wanted it all in writing. It was good I insisted : the installer balked briefly at an extra part of this job until I showed him it had been written into the contract/estimate! A date and time for installation was agreed on.
When I called to accept the job, turns out the salesman had lost his photos and measurements of my water heater to be replaced so I agreed to take my own and send them to him. It took some back and forth as he didn't have an iPhone but we accomplished this.
On the agreed on date and time no one came. Ten minutes later I got a call from the plumbing dispatcher at Hutchinson that the man that he had assigned to me had "just" called in sick! Well, in 30 years of work, I managed to call in before my day started when I was ill. Apparently Hutchinson tolerates this unprofessional behavior. The dispatcher offered me a later appointment, 4 hours later. I had to cancel a health appointment I had waited 3 weeks for to remain at home at that time. There was some static regarding Hutchinson's willingness to have a second employee help with the job even though the salesman and his supervisor told me that was what was needed to do the job right ( I have a long narrow staircase with a sharp turn. I kept insisting that that was what was promised. They finally agreed. You need nerves of steel and PATIENCE to deal with these folks. But I was on a mission by this point.
As luck would have it, they sent an amiable, competent, licensed man to do the job. It took about 5+ (expected) hours, I was asked for and offered to help with several tasks until the second man arrived for the heavy lifting. They both complied with cleanliness requests, were polite and made continuing efforts to please. The installation was straightforward. My questions got answered. So the job itself was positive. The company is hard to deal with.
My husband's name had been added to the contract and Hutchinson, which sent along electronic paperwork with the plumber, had included a wrong last name for him, despite my telling the original salesman both his name and our business name. Tomorrow said corrected receipt is therefore expected - - and then I can send a rebate form in.
Summary: The company is difficult to deal with. My plumber - a Hutchinson employee - turned out to be a fine and skilled person. If you have the stomach and time to make the effort to this company on, Hutchinson can apparently offer good prices. However, be vigilant and expect the unexpected.

The service was prompt, courteous, efficient and thorough. I was completely satisfied. Ed is a great representative of the company.

I'm sorry for the delay this is the 1st that I'm seeing this complaint.
I have forward to my supervisor for his feed back.
