I am rejecting this response because:I am awaiting contact and resolution prior to accepting any response. The response simply forwards the problem back to the location that failed to resolve the issue in the first place. Also, the response says I will be contacted, which I have not.

The customer withdrew the complaint. We have created a new case [redacted] for the customer's refund, as he did send over a Texas Tax Exempt form.

because:
I received a gift card for 2 missing items, however there were 4 items missing. I did not receive 2 quantity of [redacted], which I had paid for. Instead I received some other items I did not order. Also sending gift cards instead of credit card refund is unacceptable for goods that were not delivered, and for which I have paid a delivery fee.

response because: I already told them the rug was purchased as a group gift. I will not be able to find out the details they want in order to process the refund. However, I am willing to compromise and take the merchandise credit which was offered to me in the store just to put this whole incident behind us. I saw that small claims would be time consuming and I want simply to move on with my life in peace, I do not want the stress of being treated poorly anymore by your employees.

I am rejecting this response because:Ikea has no authority to disclaim implied warranties. This item was delivered to my home and is defective. It is absurd to suggest that I should have to take time from my very busy schedule to travel to the store to replace a defective product without compensation.

I am rejecting this response because:IKEA has provided the exact same response as previously, which I rejected. The dressers were purchased in the US. IKEA has itself stated that the dressers are only recalled for North America, and that each IKEA acts independently. Therefore, I cannot contact IKEA Italy about returning dressers which were purchased in and recalled in the US.

Hello, Your replacement order has shipped out on 07/16/2017.  Once the order is received by our Delivery Provider an email will be sent to you that states "Your Order is Ready to be Delivered".  We can schedule the delivery at that time. Thank you in advance,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  It is not clear to me from the message if anyone took action as a result of my Revdex.com complaint but the Paramus store finally issued a store credit for the goods that were never delivered.  I would have preferred a refund but I am considering this complaint closed at this time.

I am rejecting this response because Ikea has claimed that they are processing a refund in the past, but have not done so.  I will only be satisfied once I see that the money we paid is back in our accounts.  Please keep this case open until Ikea has reimbursed us.
