When a card is
purchased, the point of sale triggers the activation of the card.  Unfortunately, this card was never activated
and does not show any activation attempts. According to our system and the
information provided, it appears this card was never purchased.  We advised Ms. [redacted] that similar to any
other item purchased in a retail establishment, proof of purchase was needed;
however, she is unable to provide a receipt.  While we regret the inconvenience posed by
this matter, we hope Ms. [redacted] can understand and appreciate our position.  If she can recall how she received this gift
card we would like for her to give us a call so that we can assist her further.

investigated the issue with Ms. [redacted]’s Momentum Visa PrePaid Debit Card.
 
After researching this inquiry we found that the card in question had a
preauthorization request on October 14, 2014 for $18.00 from the hotel merchant
[redacted].  When a transaction is
cancelled we do not receive that information and do not know that it happens,
except when advised verbally by the Cardholder. 
Each Momentum Visa PrePaid Debit Card is accompanied by a printed
Cardholder Agreement, which constitutes an agreement between the Cardholder and
the issuer of the Card, and sets forth terms and conditions, which apply to the
Card. In accordance with the “Using Your Card/Features” section of the
Cardholder Agreement it states, “If you authorize a transaction and then fail
to make a purchase of that item as planned, the approval may result in a hold
for that amount of funds for up thirty (30) days.”
 
When Ms. [redacted] contacted us on September 20, 2014 regarding a
preauthorization hold from Comfort Suites from September 16, 2014, we advised
her that a merchant release letter was needed in order to release the hold on
the funds prior to the thirty days stipulated in the Cardholder Agreement.  We received the merchant release letter the
same day from Ms. [redacted] and the hold was subsequently removed. 
 
The hold from October 14, 2014 for $18.00 is scheduled to be released
on November 13, 2014 in accordance with the terms and conditions.  If Ms. [redacted] requests a merchant release
letter from [redacted] like she did with [redacted] we will be happy to
release the hold sooner.

enforcement. We will cooperate fully in the investigation. While we regret that
our products were used in this manner, the transactions themselves are not
fraudulent. In accordance with our normal procedures we reviewed the reload
pack as well as the receiving account. We found that both the reload pack and
the receiving accounts had been fully redeemed. We will remain willing to
assist law enforcement with the ongoing investigation and resolution of any
crimes which may have been committed. It is important to remember you should
never give your PIN to anyone.

Paypal Mycash cards do not provide the service they advertise.
Instead of being able to transfer funds, ITC has the funds and I am unable to get back what is mine, which is 500USD.

 Although I appreciate the prompt attention to this matter, it is not resolved. In speaking with the representative it was agreed that additional review and consideration would be given with regards to a disputed $20 T-Mobile transaction. I did not receive any additional follow up nor is that matter addressed to in their response.
 
I would appreciate additional review of the $20 purchase, as it was not done by me. The additional transactions are within the area I frequent, so I will acknowledge them as mine. Please keep customer satisfaction in mind, and also credit me the $20 transaction back along with the fees taken out, which I am most grateful for.
