Note that Deckortaors have been non-responsive to numerous requests for status (letters/email on 12/15/2014, 1/8/2015, 1/22/2015) and responded outside of the day window for the Revdex.comThe communication above was received AFTER they posted to the Revdex.com site saying they had been in contact It has been days since permits/plans have been approved days since they stated materials were bought (via email)days since their last communication prior to 3/9/ This is all well documented If they were to start next week they would be days overdue from their projected finish dateThe move to declare their abandoned of this project is imminent I ask that they provide the percentage discount and hard project dates (start/material delivery/end date) so I can consider my next course of actionA prompt, professional response from Deckorators would be appreciated Regards, [redacted] ***

The *** lights in the stairs are low voltage and are powered by a low voltage transformer plugged into an exterior outlet, they are not hard wired, so there is no tie in to their electrical panel However, we are happy to come out and set a walk through with the electrician and homeowner to remedy the situationWe have also not received final payment on said project and warranty is lifetime through [redacted] *** and as common practice warranties are given at time of final payment

I wish to let you know that the above mentioned complaint against Deckoraors has been satisfactorily completed The walkway was completed on 8/30/to my satisfaction Please close the complaint record against this company [redacted] ***

We, Deckorators Design & Build, have spoken with the customer and will be issuing a full refund of the deposit, as agreed to with the customer

To Whom It May Concern, We have spoken to the customer and explained to her, as we explained at the initial contract signing, the wood needed to cure and that she would need to schedule the painting after roughly 3-months for the lumber to dry, since it is all pressure treated lumber We offered a recommendation for someone she could call about the paintingShe then hired her own painter to come out and they removed all of her porch screening to do soWe never contracted with the customer to paint as we do not offer it as a serviceThe porch painting is currently in progress with the company she hiredThere is no refund available because she never paid or contracted with us in regard to the paint.Erica P [redacted] Deckorators Design & Build

After entering into a contract with Deckorators Design & Build, we went to [redacted] County to pull the permitsDue to the proposed placement of the deck over an existing garage the county asked for specified building plansOur Draft Designer went and met with the daughter of [redacted] ***, took measurements and we again submitted plans [redacted] County then asked for the existing structural plans for the garage roofWe went back to [redacted] explaining this and asked if they could request the plans from the builderAt that point, [redacted] met with another contractor who had done similar work and told him to use an entirely different scope of material than we, Deckorators useWe, Deckorators explained to [redacted] we had never used those materials before and that if he wanted to go with the other contractor we would allow for cancellationHowever, the deposit was spent on the specified materials from the contract, as well as, our Draft Designer, permit runner, permit applications and administrative feesWe explained we needed to first apply for refund on the cancelled materials and would refund his deposit upon on recoup of monies spentWe will refund the customer deducting only the nominal fees we cannot reclaim as soon as we have it in hand Erica P [redacted] , Owner Deckortaors Design & Build
