I am rejecting this response because Deckorators has still not contacted me concerning a start date. Upon start of the project, I will close the complaint. I am fearful they are preparing for bankruptcy. Were the other six complaints administratively closed or did their work finally get accomplished.

WE are working to resume work and complete the job for the customer as soon as we can

Still waiting for our project to be completedContract was signed in June with work to begin in August (2015) on a two level deck with dry living space and patio and screened area (118k project price)After speaking with Jon he stated that if we paid in full he would offer an incentive for a "grill station," which we negotiated for an outdoor kitchen, but we would provide the appliances and counter topsAfter many excuses the framing for the lower deck was finally completed in NovemberNumerous contacts were made and electrical was finally started in January, but could not be completed until weatherproofing was completed by Innovative Outdoor livingWe continue to receive excuses from children being sick, Jon being sick, resource availability, delivery issues, and other things for failure to complete our projectWe have maintained contact with Jon and Erica, but continue to receive excuses for the completion of our projectThey currently have many pending legal cases for similar situations We have been told that they have closed their business and do not have any funds to complete our project, although we have paid in full, and they are working with another company to use their line of credit for our materialsWe are over the one year mark from signing the contract and recently discovered that the joists have been exposed to the weather and are sagging so they must be replaced This also requires the electrical to be reinstalled I believe we may have to take legal action to retrieve our money We have filed complaints with the Revdex.com, but receive the same excuses

Our deck and patio were finally completed to our satisfaction, although many months lateThe quality of the work was excellent.
The revised contract agreement was that I would provide feedback to the Revdex.com regarding the contractor's resolution to our original concerns about being very late with doing the work, if we were happy with the work once completedOur contract amendment reflected a revised completion date and a 10% discount off the original price because of the delay.
