All of the information contained in our reports is part of what is referred to as the "public record." We do apologize for any confusion Mr. [redacted] may have experienced regarding our services. Some customers are under the impression that when you purchase a membership with our company you are paying for records; unfortunately, this is not the case. The service that is provided is actually the compiling of all the public records data and the sorting of the data into an easy to read format. When a customer pays for a public records search, we do guarantee that we will search every database available to us, however, we cannot guarantee which records will or will not show up in the final report since we are not in control of the records themselves. We simply display records as they are provided to us.In addition, premium databases are also more expensive for us to access, so in an effort to keep our monthly membership costs down, we must charge a small, one-time access fee to compile premium reports for our customers.A premium upgrade is not required to view basic information. This information is then uploaded to the database that we pull from. There also exists the possibility of false positives, and more than one individual with the same name and basic information may match up with many other records. I was initially interested in looking up what information is out there for myself and I registered on this site. The minimum they charge is around $22+ per month (though other options are there but you are paying up 3 or 6 months upfront! -- ranging from $45 to $55).
Unfortunately there are quite a number of traits of the "bait and switch" and I am listing them below.
1) One issue is they lead you to believe that you get all the information once you pay the initial amount. THIS IS NOT TRUE
2) You have to pay $19.99 for "premium info" on top of what you initially paid to get the important pieces of info (like bankruptcies or any other info). In other words, anything that you would really be interested in viewing would require you to pay up at least $42+
3) The home page leads you to believe that their services are reviewed on the popular networks like CNBC, FOX etc. If you look at it carefully, they are highlighting about viewing background info online. So buyers, please take a careful look and try to understand what you are really getting into.
