I am unsatisfied because no matter how many times I unsubscribe from your "partners", I still receive at least 20 emails of spam everyday. I believe that this is a violation of your own privacy practice because the business website specifically says:
" To opt-out of receiving promotional email messages from us, please click on the “Unsubscribe” link contained at the bottom of each email. "
I have clicked on the unsubscribe link many times (over a hundred) but I STILL receive the emails that I do NOT want in my email. This was the only website I had gone to and gave my email to. ALL of the rest are strictly business contacts that I had for months upon months previously and had not received any such spam until I visited "WWW.INSTANTCHECKMATE.COM". It is instant spam that has ruined the integrity of my email account because no matter what I do I continue to receive emails (after many clicks to unsubscribe). It is bothersome. Very.
A $50 (or more) credit for services or $50 check would offset the punitive damages of dealing with the headaches that I sometimes get from reading offensive and unwanted emails, a direct result from your website that stated I could opt out (of emails) yet does not allow me to opt out (of emails) because my unsubscribe requests are completely ignored.
A credit I would likely use in an email I won't ever use except for "WWW.INSTANTCHECKMATE.COM", since it is instant spam that you cannot opt out of. A $50 credit or check (or both) would make me happy temporarily, but would not offset the permanent damage.
However, I would consider the dispute settled (upon compensation) and would cope with the understanding that regardless of company emails not honoring my requests to unsubscribe I may likely sort through unwanted and offensive emails daily without any way to discontinue the problem.

Some customers are under the impression that when you purchase a membership with our company you are paying for records; unfortunately, this is not the case. The service that is provided is actually the compiling of all the public records data and the sorting of the data into an easy to read format. When a customer pays for a public records search, we do guarantee that we will search every database available to us, however, we cannot guarantee which records will or will not show up in the final report since we are not in control of the records themselves. Absolutely useless. Report initially did not indicate that there might be additional information that might be available; that is until you've already paid for the "thorough and complete report" you purchased. They also indicated that the report would be available as a pdf file to download; that is until you requested it and then found out that you'd have to purchased it for an additional fee. Report promised that licenses, marriage and divorce records, restraining orders, social media memberships, etc would be included. None of these items were available. These sections indicated that such information is not currently available. My advice is skip this site. It's worthless. Well not really it will cost you. All that was available were past addresses; no family members; though you were asked if certain individuals that popped up were known relatives.

It should not be okay for a company to sign you up for a monthly fee right off the bat. Even when they can see that you haven't used the service. No wonder they never send emails...they don't want to remind you that you are still paying for the service. Total rip off and to top it off, the one report I asked for was incorrect.

This is seriously a scam! I should have read the reviews from here before even paying! I just tested it on my son-in law, and all the results given can be found online without even paying for an amount such as this! I just paid $22.86, then another $1.99 for pdf upgrade. I almost paid the additional 419.99 for the premium upgrade, but my gut prompted me to check the Revdex.com review. Your results suck! I want my money back!

I also did not subscribe to any Instant Checkmate service and paid no funds to authorize such. Clearly Instant Checkmate is scamming any and all people who visit their website. Since Instant Checkmate is partnering in crime by authorizing third party vendors to send pornographic material to minors I am forced to take this to the next level.

While we provide as much information as possible in our standard reports, some records are expensive to access and can only be offered for an additional charge. Therefore, we charge a one-time fee to compile premium reports for our users.
We do our best to explain to customers what they can expect from a standard subscription. As stated on the FAQ page of our website:

on May 7, 2014, Mr. [redacted] accessed Instant Checkmate’s
website, www.instantcheckmate.com,
and enrolled in Instant Checkmate’s monthly
membership program by entering his personal information, entering his
credit card information, and agreeing to Instant Checkmate’s Terms of
Use.  Instant Checkmate’s Terms of Use, like the Billing Details and
Frequently Asked Questions also prominently displayed on the website, fully and
conspicuously explain Instant Checkmate’s billing terms.  Specifically, the Terms of Use describe: Standard Membership PlansInstant Checkmate offers three basic
membership plans. All membership plans are billed up front for the entire term
selected.For a standard 1-month membership, you will be billed $22.86 immediately
upon purchase and $22.86 every month thereafter, unless you cancel. 
You may cancel your membership, including any trial or nonstandard membership
at any time by calling our customer support line at ###-###-#### twenty-four hours a day (holiday
hours vary) to speak with one of our Customer Service Representatives. Any
cancellation request will cancel your upcoming bill.  Our number one goal
at Instant Checkmate is customer satisfaction. If you are ever not satisfied
with our services, feel free to call one of our excellent customer support
staff twenty-four hours a day (holiday hours vary), and we will work to resolve
your issue. Refunds are handled on a case by case basis with the ultimate goal
of complete customer satisfaction.Despite the previously stated
stipulations, we regret that Mr. [redacted] was not satisfied with our services. 
On July 14, 2014, Mr. [redacted] contacted Instant Checkmate and was issued a
refund of $22.86.  At this time, as a
measure of goodwill, Instant Checkmate has issued Mr. [redacted] an additional refund in the amount
of $45.72.  Both of these refunds total
$68.58, which represents a full refund for Mr. [redacted].  Please allow 3 to 5 business days for
this refund to be credited back to the card that Mr. [redacted] used during the time of his initial sign up
with Instant Checkmate.
Since Mr. [redacted] has
been provided a full refund, we therefore consider this matter closed.  If you have any further questions or

For a standard 6-month membership, You will be billed $59.16 immediately upon purchase and $59.16 every 6 months thereafter, unless you cancel.
For a standard 3-month membership, You will be billed $44.58 immediately upon purchase and $44.58 every 3 months thereafter, unless you cancel.
For a standard 1-month membership, You will be billed $22.86 immediately upon purchase and $22.86 every month thereafter, unless you cancel.
If your payment for a full term is declined due to insufficient funds, Instant Checkmate reserves the right to bill in monthly installments at the rate You selected.
b) $1.00 Trial Membership
If You selected a trial membership, You will be billed $1.00 immediately upon enrollment of the trial. Your 5-day, $1.00 trial will expire in 5 days. Upon the expiration of the 5-day trial period, You will be automatically enrolled in a monthly membership and billed $29.63 immediately and $29.63 every month thereafter, unless you cancel. You may cancel at any time including during the trial period. See Section 1(d) below.
c) Nonstandard Membership Plans
Instant Checkmate sometimes offers promotional membership offers. If You enroll in a nonstandard membership, Instant Checkmate expressly reserves the right to bill You, at the rate and frequency disclosed at the time of You enroll.
d) Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your membership, including any trial or nonstandard membership at any time by calling our customer support line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to speak with one of our Customer Service Representatives. Any cancellation request will cancel Your upcoming bill.
e) Refund Policy
Our number one goal at Instant Checkmate is customer satisfaction. If you are ever not satisfied with our services, feel free to call one of our excellent customer support staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we will work to resolve your issue. Refunds are handled on a case by case basis with the ultimate goal of complete customer satisfaction.
We apologize that Ms. [redacted] was not satisfied with our services. As a gesture of goodwill, she  has been issued a refund in the amount of $91.44, as per the request in the original complaint. This refund has been credited back to the card that was used to enroll in our services, and no further charges will be incurred.

In addition, premium databases are also more expensive for us to access, so in an effort to keep our monthly membership costs down, we must charge a small, one-time access fee to compile premium reports for our customers.

We apologize that [redacted] was not satisfied with our services and that she was not able to get her issue resolved when she called our member care team. [redacted] has been issued a refund in the amount of $22.86, as per the request in the original complaint. This refund has been credited back to the card that was used to enroll in our services, and no further charges will be incurred.

Mr. [redacted]’s wife’s account has been canceled. Unfortunately, we could not provide a refund due to the chargeback on the account. Per the chargeback, all monies paid to our services should have been returned to the credit card on file. They are a terrible company. They did not provide the info that they said they would and wanted $19.99 on top of the $25.85 that they already charged me. Then they charged me $25.85 monthly until I stopped it. Would not recommend them ever
