I am extremely angry and disappointed with this site and its services. I purchased this to run a check for my husband. I did that and had paid $20 some dollars so I decided why not look at my name. Little did I know that you only get to search 1 person for that membership fee. If you search a second name, you then get charged for the ‘premium package’, another $20 + dollars. Also be careful if you are using your mobile device – it will say in a big green box click here to upgrade, or click here to download PDFs – and below this box – is a teeny tiny line that has the option of “no thanks, take me back to my search”. Yea, on your phone or tablet – it automatically upgrades and does not give you the option to cancel…so you’re automatically charged for that. There’s another few bucks tacked on. I called to complain after experiencing this on a couple occasions – and the SECOND person I spoke with said their site is not supported on mobile devices and would not credit me the charges. The first person I spoke with was whispering with someone else the entire duration of my call. She kept putting me on hold. So I asked if I could talk to the person she was whispering with. This woman denied me any credits to my account. She said b/c I used the services – I could not be credited. I canceled during this call because A. this site was worthless, and B. I am afraid what other charges may accrue. I feel I was completely taken advantage of – BE AWARE.

I used this site to lookup a former friend that I knew had a police record. The site found absolutely nothing about about the person's police, although it did say if I paid even more it MIGHT have more information. In addition, I was led to believe I was buying one report not something that would be automatically recurring that I would have to purposefully go cancel. Months later I happened to notice the charges from them on my credit card bill. I never received any kind of email notifications that I was receiving recurring charges from them, unlike every other service that does automatic billing. Customer service did refund a few months of charges when I called but not everything. I think this site is a scam to trick you into unknowingly signing up for sneaky recurring billing charges.

Terrible service, should have read the reviews first. I sometimes google myself just to see whether the information I find is correct, and whether some of the articles and other information on wildlife conservation I have published actually come up. This service popped up and I thought I'd check myself. For a fee of over $20 I got nothing more than what a google search would get me. The additional sections are worthless. Any details are, yes, you guessed, available at an additional fee. I also noticed that even though the 1-month fee shown in the first cost screen looks like it is a one-time fee, once you complete your payment the site asks you to agree to automatic payments. It is an absolute rip-off to charge $20+ per month for something like this. I am going to cancel the account a.s.a.p. and advise my card company that this is a once time charge only. This definitely feels like fraud to me.
