promotional price, they are presented the benefits of the membership and the terms and conditions of the offer, including billing.  By choosing to proceed with the purchase at the promotional price, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of the promotional offer.In this case, the promotional offer was accepted and the Intelius Premier 7-Day Pass was activated.  As requested, the Intelius Premier Membership was canceled on 11/17/2016 and a refund was issued for $19.95.  On 11/18/2016, an additional refund of $19.95 for the Intelius Premier Membership was issued.  The refund will appear on Mr. [redacted]’s statement ($19.95x2) in one of the next two billing cycles, depending on the closing date.  Again, all membership charges have been refunded and no future membership charges will occur.We appreciate your cooperation in resolving this matter and apologize for any inconvenience.

I want my information removed from their data base and from their affiliate site data bases (been verified, lookanyone up, and Intellius, and google). They have given me know email address to email them the direct website that they claim they need to remove my info from google. Additionally I am a domestic violence victim, identity theft victim, rape victim, and a victim of police misconduct. I do not ever consent for them to use my name or personal information on any of their website nor do I authorize them to give it to google. And If I do find it appearing ever again at any time they can plan on facing legal charges for deflammation of character and violation of privacy act.  I did not ever resist arrest. I do not appreciate these lies. I have already given the Revdex.com proof that they still havent remove it. If the Revdex.com gives me an email address to reply to both them and to Intellus I will be happy to reforward the online info website about me still available online. I will not the rest of my life be forced to refill out complaints on Revdex.com. Intelius is an online public information website which collects and...

compiles public records and publicly available information via local, state, federal and other agencies. According to our records, Mr. [redacted] performed a basic background search for an individual and received a results search page that indicated our database had found a relative or an alias of the individual Mr. [redacted] originally searched.  Once Mr. [redacted] was presented this page, he had the option to order the report or perform another search.
 
Since Mr. [redacted] was enrolled in the Intelius Premier Plus membership at that time, this search was included in his monthly membership fee and he was not charged for any additional fees related to this specific search.

I am rejecting this response because:This is what upsets me Revdex.com sends complaint to company send response back to me why didn't Revdex.com look into response because you protect customers pull up the attached files tell me what you read.. I paid 39.95 for a nationwide criminal check tell me where you see that it says 49.99 it doesnt.. I could have paid 19.99 for statewide last time I checked nationwide is country.. now onto 2 tier I paid 10 extra to not be signed up for any obligation so look at the forms they produced and tell me what you think.. I am sitting here with that person with arrests and convictions from 3 different states  more than 15 prison sentences from florida,oregon,and ny these are things  I dug up on my not spending 1 penny.. Don't believe me put yourself in all the address were not even accurate..Shame on Revdex.com for allowing a company with this many bad reviews on your sight customers deserve better then this

website.  Each offer includes a discounted report price plus a one-week trial of the Intelius Premier Plus membership.  If the user elects to continue with their selected report type but does not wish to continue the Premier Plus membership they are instructed to cancel the Premier Plus membership within the first 7 days and they will only be charged $7.95 for the Premier Plus trial membership.
 
Based upon a search of our database using the email address Ms. [redacted] supplied in her complaint, it does not appear that she has purchased any reports or enrolled in the Intelius Premier Plus Membership at this time.

However, I have removed Ms. [redacted]’s information upon receipt of this complaint.   It is important to note that the data contained in the Intelius database has been compiled from publicly available information (such as from court records, phone directories, social networks, business websites, and other public sources) and other proprietary sources for the specific purposes of locating individuals and/or providing general background information about individuals. Intelius does not verify the data or the information and does not warrant its accuracy, legitimacy, timeliness, legality or completeness.   Additionally, Intelius is constantly updating its database with new public records. It is possible that an individual may need to resubmit a request to opt out for any new records that may have been added to its database since their last opt out request. from sources such as: marketing surveys, land deeds, catalog purchases, voter registrations, lawsuit filings, court records, magazine subscriptions, and address changes.  This data is compiled into a comprehensive public record search that Intelius maintains with active updates from its sources.We want Mr. [redacted] to be fully satisfied with his purchase from Intelius.  Since he was not completely satisfied with the Background Report and Public Records Report, we have processed a refund totaling $50.90 to his account on 4/1/2016.  Additionally, we refunded a charge of $7.95 for the Intelius Premier 7-Day Pass on the same day.  This refund ($49.95, $0.95, $7.95) will appear on his statement in one of the next two billing cycles depending on the closing.  Again, all charges have been refunded and no future membership charges will occur. In addition to public records, personal information may be publicly or commercially available. Publicly available information consists of online and offline information that is generally available but is not maintained by a government agency, such as names, addresses and telephone numbers of individuals and businesses, professional licensing and trade organization information, press releases and newspaper articles and content from blogs or social networking sites. For additional information regarding how we collect and share an individual’s information we recommend viewing our Privacy Policy located at http://www.peopleconnect.us/privacy.   While not required to do so, we do, as a courtesy, accept requests from individuals to opt out their personal information from our databases once they have verified their identity, usually with a government issued form of identification, such as a driver’s license.   Per Ms. [redacted]’s request, we have removed her information from the Intelius database, as well as our affiliated websites. However, it is important to remember that the procedure to opt out is temporary. Intelius is constantly updating its database with new public records. The resolution fromthe business claims that they do not have my link. However, they have removed my information fromtheir site.
I will keep this response and if they ever put my personal information on their web site to sell it I will they violated the integrity and promote criminal activities.

selects the promotional price, they are presented the benefits of the membership and the terms and conditions of the offer, including billing.  The terms and conditions of the Intelius Premier Plus promotional offer, including the billing details, are presented multiple times during the purchase process.  Once a user selects a specific price point, the billing details are shown in the order summary, which is viewable on each page of the checkout process.  On the final page of the checkout process, the billing details of the promotional offer are presented again and the user must affirmatively check a box next to these details in order complete the purchase.  If the billing details are not accepted, the promotional offer is removed and the cost of the report will return to its full price.  Additionally, after a purchase is completed with the promotional offer, the customer will receive a pop-up and a welcome email for Intelius Premier Plus, which reiterates the billing details.  There are multiple methods available to customers for cancelling their Intelius Premier Plus Membership.  Customers can log into their account and cancel from the “My Account” section of their Intelius Premier Plus Membership or they can call or email Customer Care for assistance.  By choosing to proceed with the purchase at the promotional price, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions of the promotional offer.  In this case, the promotional offer was accepted and the Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Pass was activated.  As requested, the Intelius Premier Plus Membership was canceled on 11/15/2016.  On 11/18/2016, we stopped the charge of $7.95 for the Intelius Premier Plus 7-Day Pass.  Mr. [redacted] will only be charged $0.95 for the Phone Report.  No future membership charges will occur. We appreciate your cooperation in resolving this matter and apologize for any inconvenience.

offer includes the standard full one-time purchase price and a second discounted report price plus a one-week trial of the Intelius Premier Plus membership. If the user elects to continue with their selected report type but does not wish to continue the Premier Plus membership they are instructed to cancel the Premier Plus membership within the first 7 days and they will only be charged $7.95 for the Premier Plus trial membership. However, if the user does not cancel, the member is enrolled in the Premier Plus membership and their credit card will be charged a monthly fee of $29.95 (plus applicable taxes) going forward.   Intelius provides clear disclosures within the report purchase process of the Premier Plus membership offer.  Below, I have outlined the process and various places in which Intelius notified Mr. [redacted] of the membership offer and details.   On March 18, 2017, Mr. [redacted] purchased a discounted membership in the amount of $.95, which included a 7-day trial membership of the Premier Plus membership. Mr. [redacted] was notified of this offer and trial membership when he selected his report type and again on the payment information page. Additionally, he was required to manually select a checkbox on the payment information page before he could complete her report purchase that specifically notified him of the offer and the membership terms, including that his credit or debit card would be charged $29.95 (plus applicable taxes) if he did not cancel his 7 day trial membership, a phone number to cancel his membership, that his membership benefits would continue through the last month for which he paid and that there are no refunds or partial month credits. Mr. [redacted] was presented with language in the same checkbox that by clicking the button to purchase, he agreed to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (with hyperlinks to each). A copy of the purchase page is attached for your review.   The “Automatic Renewal Program” section located under the “Paid Services” portion of the Terms of Service states: “Upon your acceptance of an offer for the purchase of any subscription-based Paid Services, you will be enrolled in our automatic renewal program to help ensure that there is no interruption in your access to such Paid Services. Under this program, you authorize us to automatically renew your subscription at the end of the term of the subscription you purchased, and each subsequent term, for the same term length of the subscription you initially purchased (unless otherwise stated in the offer you accepted). Unless you change your renewal status as described below, at the time of each such renewal you authorize us to charge your designated Payment Method at the then-current, non-promotional price (unless otherwise stated in the offer you accepted) for the renewal of your subscription. If you no longer want to be enrolled in our automatic renewal program, you can change your renewal status at any time by completing the following steps:   Intelius.com – cancelling your membership on the My Account portion of the Intelius.com Website or by calling (888) 445-2727.   Please note that completing these steps will only stop future automatic renewals of your subscription and will not impact any automatic renewals that occurred prior to the date that you completed these steps.”   Shortly after his report purchase, Mr. [redacted] would have received a receipt confirmation email sent to the email address associated with his Intelius account. This email contained the amount Mr. [redacted] paid for his report and the Intelius Premier Plus membership terms and conditions and instructions on how to cancel his trial membership.   According to our records, Mr. [redacted] contacted the Intelius Customer Care team on March 21, 2017 regarding his trial membership. Per Mr. [redacted]’s request, the agent removed Mr. [redacted] from the trial membership program and waived the $7.95 trial membership cancellation fee. Since Mr. [redacted] was removed from the Intelius Premier Plus plan prior to the assessment of his initial membership fee of $29.95, which would have occurred on March 25, 2017, there have been no other charges, other than the initial $.95 for the phone report Mr. [redacted] purchased on March 18, 2017, charged to his account.   This information should successfully resolve Mr. [redacted]'s complaint. Revdex.comIntelius asked me to provide the name of the woman whose records are incorrect in Intelius' database . It is [redacted] who resides in Cocoa Beach, Fl. My family members are included as relatives of her which is NOT true. Intelius also associates [redacted] with many of my family's addresses which again is false information. [redacted] has not lived at any of the Iowa; Naples,Fl; Melbourne,Fl; Melbourne Beach,Fl addresses. Intelius can contact me directly to make sure all of my family's information is removed and disassociated from [redacted].I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me if they follow through and remove all of my family's information, the names and any addresses associated with my family members.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Also, I still want to know and require HOW Intelius got, ( bought) the information on [redacted] that all the misinformation attached to her file. This is important to me as I want to find out conclusively how and why [redacted] started including my family into her family history and records.
