Internet Local Listings Reviews (245)

Review: I've paid $169.00 for my information to show up on [redacted] and it's been 36 days and it HAS NOT shown up on [redacted]. It takes less than 3 days to make this happen!! No one told me that there was a supposed 59 day window when they sold it over the phone; again misrepresentation of a product/service. They sneak it in their contract without verbally telling you.

Also, the company fraudulently claimed they were [redacted] which in fact they're NOT! The company misrepresents itself as, "Sharon, your local [redacted] specialist" or having ties to [redacted]. I have utilized [redacted] Analytics for a long time and will be making a complaint with them about the company misrepresenting their services. THEY ARE COMPLETELY FRAUDULENT!

A superior in the billing department said they would issue a return and if I don't see it in 24 hours there will be serious repercussions however to get this done I said I was going to disputer the transactions; we'll see if that actually happens!

And last but not least! If I have one more phone call from the automated telephone service I'm going to sue! I receive over 5 calls a week! I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST!Desired Settlement: I spoke with a "customer service rep" today and if I'm not refunded my full amount in 24 hours I will be issuing a fraud alert on my credit card and disputing the transaction. I will be filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission as well. Secondly they are in non-compliance and are violating the FCC regulations. Would you like to pay my cell phone bill on top of that for the incessant calls I receive from your sy automated line?!?!

Response:

Internet Local Listings would like to start by stating that we take all client issues very seriously and investigate each matter in its' entirety to ensure that we better our client services and provide the best services and products possible. In looking into this issue, we have already attempted to resolve the issue with the client via emails that were sent directly to our CFO. In this attempt, the client was still not satisfied with the results as a refund is not warranted because we have provided all of the products and services that were promised to the client. The 59 Day Guarantee is written in the contract to ensure that clients understand how it works and what it means. Once we've received a signed contract back from a client, we assume that the client has taken the time to read the contract and has asked any and all questions that they may have about this contract to ensure that any and all concerns are thoroughly explained and agreed upon. In the account set up process, the client is offered the time to go through the contract on the phone with our Provisioning team to ensure that the contract is understood. The 59 Day Guarantee is not something that we "sneak" into our contract as it is our belief, again, that the client reads over the contract before signing and sending it back to us. These contracts are set in place so that all of our clients have a clear understanding of the products and services that we provide. The contract also states that Internet Local Listings is not an entity of [redacted] as we do not represent ourselves as such.

The worst experience ever !!!! Do not get signed up with them, it would be a huge mistake.

Costumer service lacks of experience in treating people with respect. All that they want is to get money. I had calls back and forth for about 4 months...4 months of Hell... they overcharged me every month and every month after long conversations, they would reimburse...until I gave up and wanted to get out.

Price tag for getting out was $199.00.

After about 3 months of service, I was promised $99/month. When I asked them about it, the response was.." I dont see that in my notes, sorry."

They promise without delivery, they are mischievous, rude, they hung up on you... and the list goes on...

[redacted] was very helpful and polite when filling up the contract.

Review: Business has not sent me the money they owe me from charging the wrong bank account and for a month has been giving me a major run around including hanging up on me....Desired Settlement: The business internet local listing has double charged me and has not sent me my check for $300 they said they mailed 4/20/2015,I either get hung up on or they say the lady who authorizes the refund is either not in or is busy or said the check has already been sent, then on futher phone calls find the check hasnt been sent yet,all I want is my money they owe me for charging both my accounts instead of the authorized account I gave them......

Response:

Internet Local Listings would like to start off by apologizing for any inconvenience that this matter may have brought upon Mr. [redacted]. In investigating this matter, it appears that we may have sent the check refund to the wrong address because the one provided to us initially by Mr. [redacted] is different than the one included in this complaint. In the attached contract, filled out and signed by Mr. [redacted], an address was submitted on page 9 that differs from the address included here.

Review: This company promised me a web site&font page on gogle with 10 key words. I never recieve anything not even a phone call. When I was able to contact them. They said they had terminated the person that was handling my account & where sorry for the inconvenience. I fill I was promised something & paid for it BUT never recieve anything. It has been 3 1/2 months & nothing. At this time I fill I deserve a full refund. Response:

Whomever it may concern,

In response to the client's complaint, we have looked into the account and all notes that we have in accordance with it. We reached out to Mr. [redacted] several times in attempt to gather the information that we needed to make a website that would benefit our client and their customers. We find that it is of extreme importance to get information about what the client wants and is looking for in a website because without this knowledge, we are unable to provide a product that the client is looking for. Another issue arises in creating a website that may have incorrect information about the company that it is representing: allowing this information to go public without receiving acknowledgement from the business owner that it is correct is irresponsible and not something that we believe is acceptable. We are more than happy to meet the clients needs in regards to the website and will provide a product that encompasses everything he is looking for if Mr. [redacted] is willing to speak with us about it. We understand that our client may not have been happy with being reassigned to another account representative but even though the previous client representative is no longer with the company, any one of our team members is ready and willing to listen to the requests that the client has to complete the website quickly and efficiently. While the website issue can be explained in the previous text, there lies another issue that needs to be addressed about Google placement for our client. When we finally got a hold of Mr. [redacted] he requested a ranking report which we happily provided to him on the 3rd of January, 2014. This ranking report clearly shows and notes exactly where the client is located when searching on Google. "Keys R Us" is ranking on the first page of Google for several of their keywords both in Bloomington and surrounding zip codes. With that, we have also submitted his business to several directories and created customized content for his listing. All of this work was paid for by the client and provided to the client in accordance with our business agreement upon him signing up with our business.

As with all of our clients, we are more than happy to assist Mr. [redacted] and explain to him any and all of the questions that he may have regarding his account. As long as our client is able to speak with us and provide us with the necessary information, we can have his website built and live in no time and look forward to continuing a business relationship. After several failed attempts, we were unable to speak with the client and authorize the creation of a custom website but we were able to perform other parts of the product that were paid for and did get our client ranking on the front pages of Google as promised.

Best regards,

Internet Local Listings

Review: They call and call with a recorded message, saying press 1 to talk to someone and press 2 to be removed from the list. I've pressed 2 at least 15-20 times to be removed yet they continue to call. Today I pressed 1 to talk to someone. I asked him the name of the company and he told me Internet Local Listings. When I asked him for the phone number to call him back he hung up on me. This is a ridiculous, shady business practice and these people need to follow accurate do not call rules. If I press 2 to be removed OVER AND OVER AND OVER and I'm still not removed, your company is not truthful nor reliable.Desired Settlement: Stop calling me. Be honest that pressing 2 will not remove someone from your awful calls-or fix it so that it does.

Internet Local Listings would like to formally apologize for any

issues that have been pressed upon [redacted] in regards to receiving phone calls

concerning our internet marketing services. We take these issues very seriously

and have thoroughly investigated the matter. At this point, this problem has

been dealt with and handled accordingly. [redacted]' phone number has been added

to our Do Not Call List as of February 17, 2015 and we are actively searching

for the phone call recordings to ensure that the agent responsible is

reprimanded as we have a no-tolerance policy for these matters. As a

precautionary measure, we would like to inform [redacted] that there are several

companies that provide the same services as Internet Local Listings that could

still be contacting the business number in question.

In closing, this issue has already been resolved as the phone

number in question - [redacted] - has been added to our active Do Not Call

List. If [redacted] has any other numbers that he would like added to the Do Not

Call List, they may be entered at any time using the form located at the bottom

of our website: www.internetlocallistings.com.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Review: I contracted the services of this company and agree to pay $199.99 for three months for advertising. On the third month wouldn't take [redacted] card and were asking for other credit card, I told them that I couldn't give them another card and stated that I didn't want to use their service any longer, so they needed to cancel the service.

After two weeks they charged my [redacted] card and because I didn't give them (per they) the 7 days notice, they want to charge me with another $199.99 per the fourth month. I sent several emails stating that I don't need or want their service and the treated me with sending the account to collection if I don't pay the fourth month.

This business is fishy in any way you see it.Desired Settlement: I want this business to discontinue the service as I asked already and stop threating me with charging my card or send the account to collection. I want my billing to $0. I already paid for the started package and asked them to cancel the service giving them more than the 7 days they requested and I want not to hear from them again.

Business

Response:

Internet Local Listings would like to start by apologizing for any inconvenience that this issue may have caused Mr. [redacted] as we work hard to provide each of our clients with second to none client care and products and services.

Review: Business calls approximately once per day from scrambled phone numbers in different area codes. I have requested to be removed from their list over 12 times, with no success.Desired Settlement: The business changes their phone spamming technique

Internet Local Listings would like to formally apologize for any issues that have been pressed upon Mr. [redacted] in regards to receiving phone calls concerning our internet marketing services. We take these issues very seriously and have thoroughly investigated the matter. At this point, this problem has been dealt with and handled accordingly. Review: We have repeatedly asked this company to remove all 160 of our phone numbers from their data base and to refrain from callings us. They call in under "masked" numbers that when dialed back go no where. I recently sent them an email requesting all160 phone numbers be removed in a file form, and they continue harassing us by calling and calling and calling. We have not interest in their product or offerings, but they refuse to stop callings usDesired Settlement: Remove every one of my 160 phone numbers from their data vbase and never call in here again.

Response:

Internet Local Listings would like to formally apologize for any issues that have been pressed upon [redacted] in regards to receiving phone calls concerning our internet marketing services. We take these issues very seriously and have thoroughly investigated the matter. We have investigated the phone number provided in this complaint and have not found any instances of speaking to [redacted] through our phone system with this phone number. We understand that [redacted] claims to have over 160 phone numbers and that it may be possible to have spoken with him regarding this matter on a different phone line. At this point, this problem has been dealt with and handled as best as possible with the information provided by [redacted]. This phone number has been added to our Do Not Call List as of January 9, 2014. Since we could not locate the provided phone number in our records, we cannot determine which agent supposedly received the email containing the list of 160+ phone numbers. We ask that [redacted] send the email to [email protected] to have these numbers added to our Do Not Call List. As a precautionary measure, we would like to inform [redacted] that there are several companies that provide the same services as Internet Local Listings that could still be contacting the business numbers in question.

Same here... except mine was supposed to be listed on the first page of Google... I haven't heard from them in over 2 months, well almost 3 now, except for them calling me a couple hours after I spent 2 hours on the phone dying everything up and getting the contract corrected since the terms were not acceptable, and they were calling to tell me they would need another payment on 14 days and wanted permission to change my card and wanted me to sign an updated contact to that effect.. so 3 months later, I'm no where to be found on Google, or any search engine!... DO NOT FALL FOR IT...PLEASE BE A SAVVY BUSINESS OWNER AND DO NOT GET SCAMMED!

Oh and to the company, I want my money back, every cent.. you have not provided me the service I paid for, we signed a contract stating I would give you payment in return for a service, which I have not been provided, I will be consulting with my attorney concerning this breech of contact and possible fraud.

Review: I am being harassed by this company, they will not stop harassing me and my company and they are maliciously violating FCC regulations. Threatening me and using profanity against me.Desired Settlement: I want the public to be aware of how unethical this company is. They have several entities with different names, but all the same scam. I don't want anymore calls and I want them to pay for the phone bill extra lines I had to buy in order to continue being able to make outgoing or incoming calls. Thanks

BTW [redacted] maliciously called me 20 times to freeze My lines.... I explained this to [redacted] his supervisor, he laughed and hung up.

Business

Response:

Internet Local Listings adheres to the guidelines of the FCC and takes daily precautions to ensure that we do not violate their terms. We record all phone calls to ensure that we can effectively monitor the work of our employees and the way each of our clients is treated. We have a no-tolerance policy for each of our employees in regards to using any type of profanity in conversation with any of our clients and we are sure to monitor this closely. In extensive research regarding this claim, we have no records that indicate the our employees were using profanity with [redacted] and we listened to several other calls from that day that also have no use of profanity. Our call log also shows no indication that [redacted] was repetitively contacted on these days, or any days, at: [redacted] as we are able to pull a report for outbound/inbound calls for the phone number in question.

Another important point that Internet Local Listings would like to enforce is that we are only one entity that operates off of one company name: Internet Local Listings. There are several thousand SEO companies in the United States that have access to the same lists that Internet Local Listings has for business phone numbers and it is extremely possible that [redacted] was being contacted by one or more of these companies, as well as Internet Local Listings. Our records show that the phone number in question was added to our "Do Not Call" list on July 1st but was reached again on July 7th. We thoroughly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and can only look to technical error for this occurrence. The phone number was again added on July 7th. We received a phone call from this phone number several times on July 7th and the phone calls continued on July 8th. After attempting to ensure [redacted] that his phone number was again added, [redacted] was no longer able to effective communicate with [redacted] and felt that it would be best to transfer him to one of his supervisors, [redacted] proceeded to yell profanity to [redacted] at which point [redacted] ended the phone call as our employees are instructed to do.

Review: This company is constantly calling over 20 times per day. Saying they are verifying my Google listing. They are practicing fraudelent practices. They solicit constantlyeven afterasking multiple times to be removed from thelsit.Desired Settlement: STOP CALLING!

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[Your business practices are unethical and borderline fraudulent. Harassment is illegal. Calling on a business over 15 times a day is not acceptable. The reason I am rejecting the response, is due to the fact this company will not accept responsibility for their repeated harassment. Placing blame on other companies is NOT acceptable. I have traced every call and 99.9% of my solicitations result from internet local listings. I have added all my phone numbers to the do not call list and expect all contacts to stop immediately. We have contacted our attorney in regards to bringing forth a class action lawsuit. There are over 75 responses online offering the same feedback as I have. The business practices put forth by this organization is terrible and quite frankly gives all web development companies a bad reputation. I will be certain to take the time to follow through on this. You called on the wrong person too many times. I can be the most persistent pain you have ever experienced. Look forward to bringing you down!]

Regards,

Review: This company promised me the first page of google for advertising my real estate brand. After a month I cancelled . I sent them the money I owed them and quit. Out of the blue, they just sent me a bill for $500 from attorney that is trying to collect. This is craziness. I do not owe them a dime. They have got to prove I signed a contract or did not pay because I did pay and I do not owe them anything! I wouldlike to find out the owner of this company and have a face to face meeting. Further more, this business practice better stop.Desired Settlement: Stop the collection. NOW

Internet Local Listings would like to start by apologizing for any inconvenience that this matter may have brought upon Mrs. [redacted]. Upon receiving any notices of this nature, we are sure to thoroughly look into the account in question to assure that we are handling it properly. Upon signing up for services, it was made clear to Mr. [redacted] (the client who is the owner of the account) that payments were expected monthly for services rendered. After one of the owed payments failed, Mr. [redacted] informed us that we would receive a check in the mail to pay for the past due balance. Upon receiving the check and attempting to deposit it, the check bounced and Internet Local Listings did not receive payment for the services already rendered. We attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] again but were unsuccessful in doing so until October, when the client called in again to cancel. Since we did not receive payment for the 4 months from June to October, we informed Mr. [redacted] that we were owed the payment for the 4 months in order to cancel services fully. Internet Local Listing was never paid for services rendered for those 4 months and the client was sent to collections, per company standards, in January of 2015.

Review: I was told I would be placed on the front page of google and over $[redacted] dollars later I still didn't see the front page so I called and called

still not on page.Everytime they said it will be on this week it wasn't.I also have no web page liked they said I would. My complaint is i'm $[redacted] in the hole

and never touched the front page of google.Wasted time waiting on them and then they told me to buy this other thing which speeds up process so I did for $[redacted] extra every month

and still no front page After waiting all that time loosing business and almost $[redacted] a month I still have no money back and not on front page.Desired Settlement: Either give me back my money which was over $[redacted] or( fix it and put me on front page like you said you would.get my web page done like you said you would. And refund some of my money in process for my wait.you should know in business time is money and wait time for a adve.rtisment is very costly

Business

Response:

Internet Local Listings would like to start by confirming that we have not held $[redacted] from [redacted] and had charged the client a total of $[redacted] of which $[redacted] was refunded: leaving a charged total of $[redacted]. We would like to be clear on the amount that [redacted] was charged because we have strict policies in place in regards to our billing procedures and want to ensure that the client understands this. We would also like to start with apologizing for any miscommunication that may have occured between [redacted] and any of our representatives. We work hard to maintain a completely transparent relationship between ourselves and our clients and start that by sending the same Terms and Conditions to every client that begins an internet marketing campaign with us.

Review: (Billed for a Cancelled Subscription) On March 4, I signed up for a one month subscription through [redacted] in sales, stating to try it for one month (March) that our business would be "front page" on Google, and that he could increase visibility. I stated to him, we were already on the "front page" of Google. On March 27, I contacted the customer service 800 number to cancel. I did not want the service any longer, as it had not yielded any contacts, or calls. The person I spoke to assured me that it would be cancelled immediately, and no further additional billing. On April 4, I received a call from [redacted] stating that an additional payment was due for April. I stated to her that it had been cancelled late March, and that I was not suppose to be billed further. I told her I was not happy that she was attempting to bill me for April, and that I should not be charged. She stated that my cancellation was not located. Therefore, she would be referring it to the legal department as delinquent and for collection. Each month would accrue an additional $25.00.I should not be billed for any additional month, just because my request to cancel this subscription was not located by their staff. As I mentioned earlier, the use of Internet Local Listings stating you can increase your business' visibility did not yield any contacts, or calls. Again, cancel this subscription, as of March 27, 2014.The business tactics of this business are unfair and should be investigated.Desired Settlement: Settlement: Stop additional billing for this subscription, referring as delinquent,m or collection, as this subscription was canceled in a timely manner. There is a $0 balance.I will not be referring any other businesses to Internet Local Listings, as I have had a very bad experience with this institution.

Response:

Internet Local Listings takes pride in the work that we provide to each of our clients and typically expect clients to remain with us for longer than one month, that being said, it seems that there was a mis-communication between our client and [redacted]. Each matter reported to us through the Revdex.com, phone call or company emails is thoroughly investigated and Mr. [redacted] has been spoken to regarding this issue. While he did not intend to communicate our product to the client in this way, it seems that the client understood differently. We apologize for the inconvenience and do appreciate the client informing us of this mishap.

I am the owner of a small garage door business in North Carolina. I have recently hired Internet Local Listings to provide SEO assistance for my existing website and the experience has been terrible. This company misrepresented themselves from the very beginning and I believe they have actually been a detriment to my business rather than any help at all.

I am a novice when it comes to internet marketing but I still managed to build a rather nice website through Squarespace. The reason that I hired Internet Local Listings is because they assured me that they could do more SEO marketing for my existing website to help with my Google ranking. Instead of doing this, they built another website entirely which looks like it was built in 1990. If I were to be perusing the internet for a service company and came across this website, I would move right past it because I would assume that they didn't have a clue as to what they were doing.

I can't say it loud enough, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They do not have your best interests in mind. They simply want your money and nothing more.

I contracted with Internet Local Listings as a result of a telemarketing campaign. They implied that they represent Google listings and name Google in their sales pitch. I don't think is true and question if that is legal? The goal of the listing and website was to get my website created AND ranked in the top results in my area based upon several key words searched on google. I never found my website on any search after there months.

Part of my contract was the creation of a "free" website to be designed with my approval and put online. I submitted my agency logo and professional photograph for the website design. When the website was designed it was put online without my review or approval. The writing was HORRIBLE and I questioned the education level of the creator. The photograph submitted was not used and the logo for my agency was changed and reduced to the point that it was unrecognizable.

When I requested changes the editing took several days and the website was put back online again without my approval. My logo was put on as submitted but I still could not find the photograph I sent in. The writing, though better, was still pretty bad and there didn't seem to be any qualified writers available to assist. The people were friendly enough but they didn't seem to have the skills or tools needed.

After a three month mandatory commitment I decided to call and cancel my contract. I was told that Internet Local Listings would do a review of my account and get back to me within 48 hours with search results and ratings of where my website was rated to date based upon key search words in the geographic areas I requested. Their promise under the contract "guarantee" was to continue service for free until my website achieved the rating goal I contracted for. No one got back to me in twice the time promised. Therefore I cancelled the service today.

Upon cancellation I emailed Internet Local Listings to request the credentials to access and edit the "free" website I paid for the creation of. They said that it is there policy to delete the website and its content upon cancellation of the service agreement.

I have to say this is the worst service I have ever wasted time and money with in 15 years in buisness. My advice the other small business owners and marketers is to not waste your time and money with Internet Local Listings! They did not follow through on promises in my case. I am sure there must be a better service available. My recommendation is to find that one and skip this one.

I paid for a well designed website and positioning in the google search engine. What I got is a website that they deleted and no positioning on the search engines. They had no issue making promises and taking my money but provided no result. Nothing. In one word I rate Internet Local Listings as horrible.

Review: The company misrepresents itself as Google or having ties to Google and offers a free service for a price. The telemarketing calls "Hi, this is [redacted] your local Google... " are relentless and do not stop even after you become a customer and ask to be put on the DO NOT CALL list. The calls always come from a different number with multiple area codes being used. When I press 1 to speak to a marketing specialist and I let them know I'm already a customer, I'm promptly disconnected - hung up on. They say to discontinue the service and business relationship, you have to do so in email some days before the rebill date. When I did that, I got a msg from the mail server that it was undeliverable or may take longer to deliver. This company has unethical advertising, communication, billing, and sales practices.Desired Settlement: I'd like a refund. I'd like my business with them terminated. I want them to stop contacting me. I want ALL the calls to ###-###-#### to stop. I don't want them to contact me in the future after this matter is settled

Business

Response:

Internet Local Listings holds high standards in our sales process and ensures that certain scripts are followed to ensure honest service to each of our clients. We do represent the work that we provide with integrity and although we use "Google" a lot while explaining our offered services to clients, we do not claim to be Google and are sure to inform all of our clients that we are Internet Local Listings. After signing up for our services the client spoke with [redacted], one of the pinning coordinators that assist new clients with their account set up. In this conversation, the client was sent Terms and Conditions that clearly state that Internet Local Listings is not Google; these Terms and Conditions were filled out, signed and returned by the client so it is implied that the client is aware that we are not Google. All emails are sent from an "@internetlocallistings.com" address as well to further ensure that clients are not mislead.

Review: In brief, I paid this company $159.99 per month, for 3 months, to increase my rankings on Google. After the 90 days, there was no improvement due to the fact that they were using the WRONG keywords - keywords that I did not supply them with. In addition, you are supposed to get monthly ranking reports - something that also did not happen. Numerous emails were exchanged, often with no response. In January, I spoke with a [redacted], Customer Service Manager, and he agreed to suspend the billing until the ranking improved. In February 2014, I saw that the keyword used were still WRONG. No report or status in March. Today, I called and after waiting on hold for about 15 minutes, I asked to speak to the Director of Operations. I was transferred to a [redacted]. I explained my concern and all he did (like all the other reps) were to offer excuses. I was getting obviously frustrated and then he started laughing and smirking at my frustration and he kept rudely interrupting me, insisting that I "work with him." After 6 months, I was done "working" with this company and their incompetence. I asked [redacted] who his manager was, and he responded,"he's my manager." At that point, I hung up.Desired Settlement: They've failed to provide the results that promised. They need to fix it and fulfill their promise of 1st page Google ranking within 90 days.

d all he did (like all the other reps) were to offer excuses. I was getting obviously frustrated and then he started laughing and smirking at my frustration and he kept rudely interrupting me, insisting that I "work with him." After 6 months, I was done "working" with this company and their incompetence. I asked [redacted] whWhen clients sign up, they select keywords with one of our pinning representatives and are told that the team working on their account will provide keyword research as well to better assist the client in being found by their potential customers. This keyword research is extensive and allows an in depth look at the words that our clients competitors are using and the words that our clients competitors are being found for on Google and other search engines. We work with clients as much as we can but also take matters into our own hands as we are hired and paid to provide our clients with the best work possible. As far as ranking reports are concerned, it is possible that the ranking reports were sent to the wrong email address as we use an automated software that may discover technical difficulties. When speaking with any of our customer service representatives, our clients are asked if they have received a ranking report and/or if they'd like a ranking report. If at that point, our clients are not found ranking, we do push billing until they are ranking as a provided courtesy. Work continues to be done on the account, even though they are not paying, and we continue to work to provide first page placement on Google Local. We sincerely apologize for any dispute that you may have had with one of our employees as we strive to ensure that this does not happen. We take pride in how our clients are handled and this matter was seriously investigated and recorded calls were reviewed and it doesn't appear that the employee did anything outside of the guidelines as the client was yelling and using profanity at him throughout the conversation. That being said, we take this very seriously and have spoken to all employees involved in this disagreement.

Review: Review: Fraud…..tried to sell me a “free” service! Misrepresentation! Internet Local Listings contacted my business which is an online school out of [redacted]. After claiming to represent Google, they promised that my site would show up on the first page due to their SEO activities. They promised that after receiving a payment of $[redacted], a person from the design team would contact me to help me set up my search words and to better explain how the services worked. As it turns out, nothing works!! The employee who was SUPPOSED to help me with my site, never called. I received an email om September 18, 2014, telling me to be patient while they worked to optimize my account and build an online presence.

I paid for the "service" twice, received no more assistance but I started to receive calls concerning payments for succeeding months after the October payment. . During each call. I would express my concern that no one contacted me about my services. Each caller would promise to make a note and have someone call me. Instead, I only get calls from the accounts receivable department asking for more money.

To date no one has called me to help me with services as promised. The last call was received today, December 18th, the accounts receivable department representative once again, took no responsibility for the unfulfilled company promises and instead threatened to send my account to collections.Desired Settlement: Desired Settlement: Admission of wrong doing, return of my initial investment of $[redacted], and quit harassing me

Response:

Internet Local Listings would like to

start this response by apologizing for any inconvenience that [redacted] may

have experienced in working with us for the Internet Marketing Campaign set up

for [redacted] Academy. When [redacted] signed up on September 17, 2014, we

collected a payment and began working on the account immediately. We attempted to contact the client several times without success and sent the account to our keyword specialists on September 19th, 2014 to have the keywords chosen so that work could continue to be done on the account and an email was sent to [redacted] to inform him that work was being done on the account. We then received the signed contract back (please see attached) from [redacted] and attempted contact again with no success. At this point, we had created the Google My Business listing which, is a "free" service and had also written customized content, obtained photos and worked their business listing into over fifty, 50, online directory listings. We would like to point out that while the Google My Business listing is a free service provided by Google, Internet Local Listings prides itself on being able to provide all of the work necessary for the creation and maintenance of this listing (and more than fifty, 50, others). The Visibility Package that [redacted] signed up for provided him with the Google My Business Listing, ten, 10, keywords with unlimited clicks, custom written SEO content, listings in fifty, 50, online directories, submission to PowerListings, Video SEO, access to our Marketing Dashboard, our industry leading fifty-nine, 59, day guarantee, a custom Google+ Profile, custom Yelp! Profile, custom YouTube Channel, custom Facebook profile, custom Twitter profile, custom Yahoo! profile and custom Bing profile. Each and every one of these products and services has been provided to [redacted] and are not free to the company. We do not believe in charging people for not providing work and. in fact, pride ourselves on the high standard of ethics that we've set in place for the entire company: this is why work was provided to [redacted] even though we were unable to get a hold of him.Internet Local Listings would like to point out that the signed contract (attached) goes into great detail to explain our fifty-nine, 59, day guarantee as well as our failed payment and billing protocol. With the work in the products and services that we provide to each and every one of our clients, our goal is for their business listings to find placement on the front page of Google but we understand that that's not always possible. In order to bring this ultimate success to each and every one of our clients, we provide our fifty-nine, 59, day guarantee that pushes billing monthly (until the business listing is ranking) at the end of the initial three, 3, month contract. [redacted] failed payment on November 17th, 2014 and at this point, his account was sent to our accounts receivable department in order to collect the payment that was due to us. During this time, work is still provided to the client as their online directory listings are continuously updated with keywords and maintained but we are unable to provide new work for the account as we are not being paid to do so. When [redacted] was contacted by our accounts receivable department, he was informed of all of the work that was done on the account and was asked to pay for the past due balance - At that point, any work requested to be changed by [redacted] would have been taken care of. In closing, Internet Local Listings is not able to process a refund as all promised products and services were provided to [redacted] although the third month that [redacted] agreed to pay for in the contract that he signed has not been paid for. We are more than willing to work out an agreement with [redacted] and are happy to talk about what is going on with your account.
