It's Just Lunch

I just started about month ago, but so far, I have no regretsGreat customer service, and a great first date

I have only just begun to work with IJL So far it has been a fair experience I have been set up with some interesting dates who (apart from one) met my expectations, which of course is the best result Communication is generally good though there have been a number of recent snafus in arrangements (in one case a reservation was not made and in another the location was too inconvenient) and I think these could have been easily avoided The team at IJL is very pleasant and friendly and seem committed to doing a great job My only complaint is that I was initially interviewed by one person who said she would take me on as "her client" (and I felt very good about her) and I was then switched to someone else as soon as I paid It felt like a classic "bait and switch" move and if this had been the intent from the beginning it could have been communicated in the first phone call But overall I would say it has been a good experience to this point and I am looking forward to seeing how it plays out

I have been a member of IJL for several months and truly believe its a great way to meet some very nice ladies, I work long hours and find it hard to reach out and try to dateI really don't believe in the bar scene, IJL takes care of this for meDiana G*** has been a lot of help she has a positive attitude and follows up with every date

Extremely professional matching service focused on helping their customers confidentially find a soul mateEvery employee that I have dealt with is very courteous and respectful If I had a problem, I would expect a fair and reasonable outcome

It's Just Lunch DC is a gem in the drawer of dating resources! The staff led by Kim couldn't be more helpful beginning from the initial call to gain information about the service straight through to coordinating the meeting with a prospective match We're all busy people and IJL helps us balance the focus of our professional life and personal often that is missedMy match dates have been varied and I took away something good from each meeting which has led to a special one I hope develops! I know while crossing paths with so many people each day, those I have met through IJL would have been missed if not through the mutual connectionTo Kim, Lucy, Chelsea and all of the talented staff, my thanks for being part of my "search team!"

It's just lunch charges a substantial fee for dating referralsUnlike Internet dating, they setup the meeting locationYou are given the height, color of eyes and hair, occupation, # of children, activities they enjoy and their first name onlyYou are not given their picture, weight, age or any information to contact the date yourselfWhen you first sign up with It's Just Lunch, you give them an age range for potential dates and the distance you are willing to travel to meet themHaving them prescreen potential dates, setup the meeting place and time is well worth the priceYou'll meet quality people and have multiple dates until you find the person you are compatible withIt's much safer than meeting people on the Internet who lie about themselves and arrange meeting places that may not be safeMy Its Just Lunch matchmaker is Kelly and she is so helpful in setting up the date and calling after the date to see how it wentShe never tells you any negative responses that she may have received from the person you went on the date withTherefore you never get upset, thinking you are not dateableShe listens to your concerns and the potential dates get better as she gets to know your preferences from your dating experiences that you tell her about

I was very impressed with the IJL Milwaukee staffThey were really "on it" to understand me and set up matchesThe office staff schedules the dates, makes reservations at nice public spots, so there's no need to exchange contact information with the dates unless you want to after meeting them, so it's really a comfortable and safe processTheir matches came across as really genuine, kind men who really want to find someone special and be in a relationshipSo, I think the IJL process seemed more comfortable than my experiences with online dating sitesI met an amazing man from outside IJL and cancelled my IJL membershipHowever, I still would highly recommend this service to single women looking to meet quality, relationship-minded men

My interaction with IJL and their staff has been positive They seem genuinely interested in finding the right match for youThey are always encouraging and responsive Chelsea has been very pleasant to work with itShe is attentive, thoughtful and helpfulThanks IJL and Chelsea!

When I first called IJL, I wasn't sure it was for me and the sales pitch was aggressiveBut I opted to do it and it's been a great experienceJaida and Lucy really care about you meeting quality peopleThey're professional, good listeners, check into see how it's all going and offer tidbits of advice when you're not sure what's the right moveThey're also on point about tailoring your matches so each person gets a little closer to what you wantIt takes work on your part: you've got to be involved in the process and provide feedbackBut if you want to date and need a tour guide to help make it happen, definitely worth your time

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The company claimed to have matches for me in the Richmond area when I signed up in April. I went on one date, as previously stated, and did not hear from them again for months. They claimed to hand pick your dates meeting your criteria discussed with the dating coordinator. They then tried to set me up with a client that wants children as one of his criteria, I am years old, and clearly not a "good match" for this person, so I declined that match. (With the premier membership you are allowed to decline dates that do not meet your criteria). months went by without a match or phone call. When I did email my dating coordinator with complaints she took full weeks to respond to my email; the contract says they are responsible for responding in hours. I was promised a service of dates over a month period and did not recieve this. In addition, the dating coordinator was unorganized, confrontational and argumentative. For such a highend service and fee of 2000.00$, you expect better service and for them to fulfill their end of the contractual agreement. I do not want another dating coordinator, I want a partial refund. I went on one date and would like the remaining back. Thank you

Michael and Katie are very personable and professionalThey responded in a timely manner to my questions and concerns (calls/emails)I believe they tried their best to match me with dates of similar interest and backgroundsHaving tried the online dating scene I would recommend IJL, especially for the busy professional

My complaint is they sell the service as something other than it is- they pretend they are an upscale matchmaking service that knows how to match like individuals and that they have thousands of available matches when in fact they are nothing more than an online dating service- they took 3200.00dollars and gave me matches in months- really? Each match was so off it was extremely uncomfortable and I asked for a refund a couple weeks into it because I quickly realized what a scam- I also know from talking to the people I metThat I wasn't the only person that felt this way- these people need to be put out of business

We want to re-emphasize that our team worked diligently to select gentlemen for Ms***, unfortunately, she chose not to meet all individualsWe encourage our clients to take every introduction our team selects for them, in an effort to maximize their membershipWe find that clients who trust the process and the experience of their matchmaking team will usually have more success
I know that in the dates that Ms*** did have, there was at least one gentleman that she really liked, exchanged phone numbers with and would have seen againOf course we cannot guarantee that our clients will find love through this process, we certainly were attentive to Ms***'s feedback and did our best to find her a great match
