I am very satisfied with the results and quality of the ladies I met throught IJLMy match maker Nicole Shaw treated my like family and arranged many wonderful datesCurrently I am in a relationship with a wonderful lady I met through IJL and could not be happierI can strongly recommend Nicole and IJL

The dates so far have been wonderful They clearly put time and effort into pairing you with whomever you're going to meet Their technique for handling all arrangements and all I need to do is show up is perfect for my hectic and irregular schedule They are very hands on (nigh daily calls), friendly and easy to talk to

As someone who has had difficulty meeting people, It's Just Lunch provided a great, low-key way to meet women And surprisingly (to me,) all of my dates thus far have been with quality women If you are sick of the bar scene and don't like online dating, I would strongly suggest giving It's Just Lunch a shot

I have been with IJL for about months and have found this a great way, as a busy professional woman, to get back into datingBecause the dates are pre-screened and are scheduled for you; it erases many of the concerns a woman may have about the safety of datingKelly is very easy to work with, as have been all of the IJL staffShe responds to any concerns you may have and works to make the experience a positive one

My experience with IJL has been very positive Responses to emails and other communications have been quick and to the pointThey try their best to find a good match for me My dating coordinator and adviser are professional and friendly

I have never signed up for their service Somehow they have my cell phone number I may have inquired about their service a long time ago but do not remember If I did it was over years ago since I have been married for years They call me almost everyday and even when I ask they do not stop calling me I have blocked their number from my cell phone but I can see when the call has been blocked and they still keep calling me

I have been using IJL for months and have had over dates About half of them have been with someone who I would go on a second and future dates with I have had strong connections with of them All our lunches or dinners have gone well I find it very convenient using IJL as they provide a real opportunity to meet someone who I could potentially start a long term relationship with IJL does a great job screening members and I know I can trust my dates The IJL staff is friendly and helpful and overall it has been a very positive experience If you want to spend a lot of time searching for a potential mate, then use an online dating service The only drawback I see with IJL is I do not get to see pictures of the members before we meet

IJL does a great job matching me up with people that potentially could be a match for me

am writing in response to the complaint made by *** ***. Ms*** became an It’s Just Lunch (IJL) Client
and signed a contract on 3/22/(attached.)
She purchased a 12-month membership.
Leading up to the date of this complaint, Ms*** had been
on three
dates in less than weeks and now has approximately months remaining on her
membership
The
structure and terms of the membership are reviewed with all prospective Clients
before being taken on as a Client. As a
matchmaking service, we provide our Clients with matches using the information
discussed during the interview process as a guide. In addition, throughout their membership,
each Client is providing feedback on each date after it happens. This feedback is a crucial piece to the IJL
process; it is one of the key ways that IJL is able to learn more about the
Client and what’s working for them and what they would like to focus on moving
forward. That said, we are not able to
guarantee chemistry or compatibility between two Clients. The purpose of the date itself is to
determine just that
We
stand by our service wholeheartedly.
While I appreciate Ms***’s feedback, the fact remains that she signed
a contract for a membership which involves a process. Per the contract she signed, we do not offer
membership refunds. Ms*** is at the
very beginning of her membership and the opportunity to continue to learn more
about her and what types of matches would be best as her membership continues
is substantial. We will continue to
provide Ms*** with matches and look forward to moving forward with her
membership, should she choose to schedule with the matches that we contact her
about

Hello, I am Patty, year old professional female with adult kids and grand kids I have tried dating on my own, bars, online, friends setting me up, for the past several decades, no luck, meeting quality professional males!!!
One of my co-workers told me about IJL I read great reviews on Revdex.com and decided that I wanted to try it! After several months of talking about it, I finally joined in April I am enjoying my experience with the staff, my dating coach, and now have gone out couple times with someone who is well rounded and has a professional career and found many common interestsI love the coaching aspect of the program so much!! In my sessions with my coach, I am able to ask as many questions, and request advise and feedback! I am enjoying learning so much about myself and enjoying the journeyI love the quality staff members, especially Lucy, who has been very professional, patient, and just awesome!
I would recommend IJL to anyone who is interested in investing in themselves and open to learning about quality dating, correcting past behaviors and attitudes, and want to find someone with the same values and goals in life and a life partner!

This letter is in regard to *** ***'s membershipOn August 19, 2014, she enrolled with It's Just LunchHer membership entitled her to months of active time
We would like
to start by giving you a little background on our companyWhen a client enrolls with our company it is with the intention to dateIn a perfect world we would have these clients on a date every to weeksUnfortunately, we do not live in a perfect worldThe majority of clients enroll with It's Just Lunch simply due to the fact that they are too busy to do what we doWe find someone who fits into the blueprint of what they are looking to meetThey fit into the majority of what they have asked us to findOnce we find this person we then verify with each client that they are still single, available and when they can fit a date into their already busy scheduleAfter completing these steps with BOTH clients, we call the restaurants and made the reservationsWe even call the clients AFTER their dates for feedbackOur process is very hands on with each and every clientWe believe this process works better when a team of people work on everyone's fileWe have a matchmaker that actually talks to the client first to find out preferencesThis matchmaker will continue making the matches for the clientHowever, the matchmaker needs to focus on finding more clients and thus the coordinators must take a driver's seat to arrange the dates, call for feedback and discuss any issues that may arise in someone's membership
We have been successfully introducing single people for the past 20+ yearsBefore someone signs their agreement they have an extensive phone interview with a matchmakerDuring this call our process is described in detailWe explain how we call each person to inform them of our selection and ask for time and dates so we can schedule a dateWe also discuss our coordinators calling the client after a date for feedbackThe busy, professional, clientele we work with prefer to have us call them with details about their dateWe are not a computerized service thus we have live people who communicate with our clientsDuring this call we also describe clients we feel could be potential dates for them
During Ms***'s initial call, her matchmaker, ***, reviewed the type of person Ms*** would be open to datingShe asked questions about the age range she would date, characteristics she was looking for in the opposite sex, along with her hobbiesMs*** stated she was open on the gentleman's marital status and did not specify that she had a geographical preference
During a meeting Ms*** had in our office after becoming a Client, she indicated that while on a date with us, she was informed that the gentleman she was meeting was not yet divorced; he shared with her that he was in the process of finalizing and that the legal proceedings had been pushed back unexpectedly(When he was taken on as an IJL Client, he told us that he was divorcedIJL does not conduct background checks and even if we had, most background checks do not indicate the person's marital status.) During this meeting with Ms***, a note was made in her file reflecting her new preferences to only be matched with men who were never married, divorced or widowed
On 10/14, Ms*** went on her next dateWe have called her twice for her feedback on this date without a call back from her
On 10/16, when we received Ms***'s Revdex.com complaint, she indicates that this match lived an hour away from herWe do not select matches solely based on geographical location and Ms*** never indicated that she had a preference one way or the other to begin withAlso, she does not provide any additional feedback on that dateAt this point, it is unclear why Ms*** chose to contact the Revdex.com and not IJL directlyWe welcome the opportunity to speak with her about her feedback and encourage her to call the office as soon as she's able
We are good standing with the Revdex.com and have lots of happy clientsWe understand that this is a process and it can take timePer the terms of her agreement, refunds are not an optionFor this reason, her request for a refund is being deniedWe are hopeful Ms*** will allow us to coordinate more dates for her soon
Until we are able to resolve this matter, we are going to place her membership on a complimentary hold (up to two months.) If Ms*** does not want to reactive her membership on or before 12/17/14, the membership will naturally expire

I did not enroll until September 22, with It's Just LunchI admit I did it with hesitation, but once I committed I was ready to have a fun time that they made it sound to be for meI feel like I have been very straight with the company in regards to my unhappiness with them and want them to make it rightI want them to deliver the service that was sold to me and promisedI know that I am not happy with the places that I have been to, and that my first date was marriedI did specifically tell ***, my first matchmaker, I do not want any married men and asked if they checked on that and was told yes, by ***That was one of my advantages of picking a service verse the internet and also part of the deciding factorI also did specifically ask *** if they had a lot in the area of guys in the database for me with my likings and she said, "YES, I am so excited to match you up." The two men that she described for me and told me about were not available after I signed upI feel that the company misrepresented itself with the services they were going to provide to me withI am not satisfied with the excuse to send me on a date with someone that lives over an hour away from me my fault for not indicating a geographical preferenceNo one asked me if that was a preference, but I did ask specifically if these guys were localI thought some of the matchmaking was also part of the common sense on the chances for ones to get to know each other better would not be ones that live over an hour awayThe date was set up after also coming to the office for my face to face explaining my unhappiness and feeling that we had a good understandingI called and left a message for ***, who was taking ***'s place for the feedback to call meI did not get a callOn 10/that night I called from my cell phone and left to call me back, because I was not happy with my dateI never heard backI decided to then write to the director and Revdex.com after not getting a call back with unhappiness with the company again
I got a call the next day after filing the report with *** and talked with her about just wanting them to deliver the resultsShe was unhappy that I came to the Revdex.comI came to the Revdex.com, to get support on either my money back, or results from the service to give me what I they were selling me for services
I have agreed to continue to use the membership with hope of them redeeming the company with providing the services that they are selling and that they are telling people when trying to get them to sign up*** said that she has no problem extending my membership a couple months to get the experience that they are selling to meI will be positive and hopeful, but I do want the company to be held responsible on some level of what they are telling people they are going to get when signing this contractI understand that they are not guaranteeing love, but I expect them to deliver some potential people for me to at least have a fight chance walking into the date

I would like them to extend my contract a month as they said they wouldI signed the contract on 9/22/for monthsThat means the contract is good until 3/22/and the extension of the added month will be an end date of 4/22/I would like this in the documentation from them to provide me something in return for the situation that I felt I should never had been through with the companyI will like the actual date documented of when you need the cancellation notice by if I do not continue the servicesThis is to avoid any future mishaps on datesI also would like to be reassured that if I send in my days cancellation that it will not end my contract with not working on finding me matches during my last daysThat would not be an extension to meThank you, *** ***

IJL has introduced me to many people who have met the criteria which I identified to the staff In the last couple of months, the IJL person with whom I work has arranged an average of about one meeting every 1-weeks, and a high percentage of those I met were interesting, articulate, attractive, and lead interersting lives IJL responds to the feedback on each meeting and takes it into account in arranging future meetings In contrast to online dating services, IJL does all the work to vet possible matches and only rarely has the person not been a good fit Unfortunately, the traditional opportunities to meet people are not working so well now, and IJL definitely helps fill the gap I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend IJL

It’s Just Lunch regrets to learn of any dissatisfaction of the consumers experience as this is not the norm with IJLThe consumer received her membership agreement prior to joining and had as much time as necessary to review and ask any questions pertaining to the service being providedIJL has

I am very disappointed in the response from Its Just LunchThey once again are putting all the blame on me and taking no responsibility for their actionsYes, I did contact them on 3/to request the cancellation form necessary to prevent any future billings by IJLThey neglected to respond to my rebuttal of their denial so I could only assume that they were again showing poor customer service by ignoring this complaintI took the appropriate step to protect myself from their automatic future billings; in no way should my contacting them be viewed as my approval or willingness to accept what they have done
The fact that they point out the miscommunication between *** and myself, let's me know that they read my letter but shows that they are not taking any responsibility for anything else that has happenedThey are ignoring the fact that most of my matches were selected prior to several of my dates which in no way allowed for my feedback thus leading to several dates being very similar and in no way what I was looking forIf they had done what they said they would do, select my matches based on my criteria and feedback, I can only hope that thus would have been a much better experience
When *** answered, I reiterated my concerns, making her awake of the complaint I filedI got the impression she was unaware of this as she expressed her sympathy and offered again that Vince was a great match for meI stated that I was sure I was stuck, and that I didn't want to waste the money I had spent but that I do not trust the organization and am not comfortable working with IJLI did mention the only way I would continue would be if I could see my matches ahead of timeTo me that is a fair compromise to the awful situation this organization has put me in
This case is not closedIJL has breached their contract whether they are willing to admit it or notI have been given no reassurances from them that anything will change regarding my match selection which does not provide any sense of comfort nor does it make me want to continue to work with themThey have done nothing to earn my trustIn fact, everything they have done has led to this compliantTheir contract doesn't mention anything about the word of mouth conversations and promises made by their employeesI am not denying that they provided several matches for me but the quality of matches was nothing like I was promised They seriously misrepresented the clientele they are working with and falsely led me to believe that they would take my criteria and feedback into considerationFor them to think that everything is fine because I called to get a cancellation form is ignorantThe fact that they are unwilling to take any responsibility for their actions is disrespectfulThey may be confident that they can provide a positive experience but I have no confidence in the organizationI am very disappointed in their response as it shows they really do not care how they treat their clients.

I find that IJL provides a unique opportunity to meet different people and form connectionsI enjoyed meeting those I matched with and am especially grateful for the enthusiasm and commitment of staff I find that staff listen to your feedback, and I particularly enjoy interacting with Nicole and Kim As a result of joining IJL, I believe I'm one step closer to finding the right personThank you IJL staff for your hard work!

I called my credit card company a few times and I didn't get a return call until today I was told a letter was mailed to me last weekWhen I checked my mail tonight, it was in there I am all set on my end and feel you can move forward with closing this case Let me know if you need anything from me in this process
