Mike and John were very professional. They arrived early and made the necessary repair to my faucet. I would contact Sobieski in the future for any repairs needed in my home, I was very pleased with their service.

Review: On Aug 20th I contacted Sobieski to take care of a plumbing issue (clogged drain that was draining slowly) and I was told it is $99 to send a plumber and he will diagnose the problem and fix it and the cost for fixing it was $356. the job was given a 1 year warranty. I paid for the services but the problem came back in 10 days and it was worse now, the drain is completely clogged. So what ever work they did made the problem worse and the drain is completely clogged. I called them again because the job had a 1 year warranty now the technicians told me that I have to do more things to unclog the drain and I have to pay them $995! This is after a $150 from the previous job that had a 1 year warranty. A one year warranty means they have to unclog the drain and it should have remained unclogged for one year or they have to unclog the drain again for free or refund my money. It is reasonable for me to hold them to their 1 year warranty.Desired Settlement: Either they can finish the job or give me a complete refund because the job was never done in the first place.

Excellent in all ways

[redacted]. and [redacted] did a great job installing my new hot water heater. They informed me of all aspects of the job and made feel good about the service Sobieski provides. I wouldn't hesitate to call them for any of my future plumbing needs. [redacted] and [redacted] were great!

[redacted]. did a great job!. He was on time, identified himself, cleanly dressed. Explained what he was going to do and went to work. Explained his findings. Offered a new filter and also to reenroll in the maintenance plan so as to keep coverage. He was polite and e3fficient and friendly. Great job!!

[redacted] is a terrific representative for Sobieski Services. He is courteous, extremely thourogh, competent and prompt. We could not be any happier with the services he performs for us at our house. [redacted] was with him and he also is a tremendous representative for Sobieski. I can not praise them enough. Later in the day Scott, from the plumbing division, came to our house and he too represented the company in fine fashion. Sobieski is very fortunate to have such wonderful employees.

We had an 8:00 appointment becaue we didn't want to have to wait all day for the person to show up. There was an emergency at another customer so we were told that the plumber would be here later within a time window that was rather wide--just the thing we wanted to avoid. He did show up near the end of the window. That was a bit of a negative. Once he got here however, everything went smoothly and we were pleased with the service.

Had a semi annual system review. The service tech ( Khalid ) did a full system check up and found a potential serious problem. Khalid ran the heater for a while and located the source of the problem and was able to take care of it. My thanks goes out to Sobieski for supplying a well trained tech and Khalid for taking the time to get to the root of the problem. [redacted].

I had the pleasure of meeting [redacted]. this morning, he was here to perform a plumbing inspection. He was very efficient, courteous and informative. After the inspection [redacted] explained options and provided plenty of information so I could make a well informed decision. I would rate this (and past) appointments with Sobieski as EXCELLENT.

The installers did a good job and were kind and courteous.

[redacted] came to troubleshoot why our brand new heater, which we used for the first time since it was installed 3 months ago would not remain on. It fired up but after a minute or two, the blower stopped. [redacted] was polite, wore booties, listened to our problem, worked quickly, checked the heater and outside unit several times and within 15 minutes found the problem which he was able to fix within 5 minutes. He then explained what had happened and how he fixed it. We were very pleased and would like to have him back when we have a need for a technician. He had worked until 9:30 the night before, and yet arrived at our home in the given time range-driving from DE to above Phila for our morning appointment We were very pleased with him and Sobieski.

[redacted] came to check out why our air conditinioner was not producing cold air. Within minutes, and I mean minutes, he identified that the fuses had blown. Probably because of the electrical outage of off-on-off-on. In any event, during one of the hottest heat waves of this summer, he had cool air blowing through our house, very quickly. At 75 years of age, I can tell you that this was TRULY a welcomed relief.

We had only transferred to this company within two weeks time of the problem. But they responded as if we had been with them for 18 years...(which was how long we had been with our prior company.) I ams so grateful for them and for the assistance they provided us in our true time of need.

This did not end there. Within two days after the visit, the company inquired if everything had been satisfactorily taken care of. Believe me....this company is a keeper.

Review: On Jan 2, Sobieski came to install two new Lennox heat pumps & system. One of the units was improperly installed (this was diagnosed 2 weeks after installment) and leaking refrigerant. This caused the external unit to stop functioning, which has left only the auxiliary heat unit to provide heat. As you are probably aware, this is very expensive. Our heating bill, which only included two of the weeks we've been on auxiliary heat, was nearly $600.

In addition to this problem, there is also a part that needs to be installed on the interior upstairs unit. They claim that it is "on order" and has not yet arrived...since Jan 2.

Attempts at re-scheduling have only been initiated on our behalf. Due to wet weather, we've had to re-schedule.

My biggest complaint is that we paid Sobieski $23,000 CASH, up-front because they said that "this was how it was done". I had never heard of this in ANY business situation. I insisted to have the check back & pay 50% upfront, then 50% when finished. They said that this was no how they do things.

I was also forced to sign documents that said that all work was completed, despite that it wasnt and there were still problems with the one heat pump. Three times I told him that I wasn't comfortable signing it, but he insisted that I had to, saying that "this was how it is done".

When we asked to be reimbursed for both a set of lines they re-used (they promised all new) and for our outrageous heating bill due to their installation error, only the $200 for the lines were they willing to offer.

I have felt duped & uncomfortable through this whole month-long process.Desired Settlement: We would like reimbursement for the lines $200 and payment of our heating bills for the time period our unit was non-functional. We would also like the work to be completed NOW, including the installation of the part "on-order".

Sobieski was in the process of working through the issues and has responded directly to the customer since this complaint was received. The mechanical issues have been resolved by replacing the faulty equipment. Sobieski agrees that we owe the customer the $200 for the line set that was not replaced. Sobieski has reviewed the utility invoices provided by the customer and is making the customer an offer of and additional $200 payment based on the increase noted.[redacted]

We signed up for the annual heating and cooling maintenance program.

Second year. The same technician came both time, which I liked.

Technician arrived within the time frame given, was very professional and knowledgeable.

Provided heating and cooling tips to keeping our home in the proper climate and keep cost down.

The serviceman "[redacted]" is always on time, polite and wearing protective footwear. He makes sure our heater & air conditioner are always ready for the upcoming season. Other than routine service, we have never had to call for emergency service!
