Did you ever consider mailing the copy of the requested application it me? You had no qualms releasing info on me to a lot of car loan companies

I am sorry for the experience but we do not have any promotions or have giveaways related to financing. I am curious about the cruise and what number did you call? Who did you speak to because we don't offer anything like that and if someone is using our brand I would like to know what
they are doing. Please let us know what numbers you called or were called from

First let me say I apologize if you felt our agent Jalissa was rude, but I pulled the call to review and found her to be matter of factIf it did come across as rude I apologize. I will review with her. For the other part of the claim we did approve you for about $16,000. What you
failed to mention in your complaint that all loans come with some requirements. One of our requirements is that your loan to value (the amount you owe as compared to the value of your vehicle) must be less than 140%. In your case your loan to value is over 190%. Which means that you owe almost 2x what your car is valued to your existing lienholder. If you were able to make a payment and bring that LTV down to less than 140%, we would be able to help you refinance. But as it stands right now we are unable to continue. I am sorry we cannot help you

I was solicited for a loan at an advertised rate by Open Road LendingI didn't seek out Open Road Lending for any type of "help" as I have a loan with a major bank (SunTrust) at a competitive rate 6%.Open Road Lendings marketing practices are deceptive and a scamOpen Road Lendings response are laughable as they act as they are in the business to help consumersThis company should be investigated by the Texas Attorney Generals officeAgain, for the record, I didn't seek out Open Road Lending for any type of "help", I was solicited for a loan at an advertised rate by Open Road LendingThe only help consumers need is protection from predators such as Open Road LendingI was not shopping for a new rate, I was solicited by Open Road LendingOpen Road Lending should honor my original request to remove all inquiries from my credit bureau

We received your application on 12/15/from a partner of ours called CarChex. You applied with them to purchase a vehicle from the IP Address of *** and they forwarded it to us because they are not a lender. The IP Address is from Ocala Florida. An email was sent about
the application back then to *** which was your listed employer. If you feels this is in error and someone has stolen your identity then file a police report with your local police and then send the report to ***, we will remove the inquiry

Lets back up just to show how unethical the practices of this business are, in sept I applied for a refinance of my car through the recommendation of credit karma and was turned down, ok no big deal, at least I triednow in feb I get a pre approval letter from then stating I have days to fill out the forms to qualify, which I promptly did only to be rejected againNOTHING in my credit report had changed from the time they sent my pre approval til the time they denied me, NOTHINGNow they say it was a late payment to capital one that denied me, that account had been closed by capital one almost years ago and would have been on there when my pre approval was issued, when I disputed their claim, now they come back with capital one is still reporting it, Capital one hasnt reported it since Dec of 2015, and still would have been on my credit report when the pre approval was offered, plain and simple they liei have credit reports pulled, I have their pre approved letter they sent to back up my claimsThis company really hurts those of us who are really trying to rebuild our credit, so now I've been dinged on my credit report twice in months by this company and by those they pass my info on to, disgraceful!!

Lets back up and show how unethical

In no way could we label out every possible add / delete to all states for titling purposes. Then you have all the name change and variation issues with people titled on registration differently than title which is different than their drivers license. The matrix is complex and would befuddle consumers. I appreciate the suggestion but it isnt practical to our business. Again I am sorry for the complaint

In order for an application to be submitted, a person has to complete additional information, have the box check and then click on the Submit button. There is no other way for the job to run to capture the application information from a technical standpoint. We literally take thousands of applications each day and never have anyone complain that their application was submitted without them clicking on the submit button. I'm not sure what FCRA (c) has to do with this issue since that section of the code is entitled "Requirements relating to information contained in credit reports" and talks about what is supposed to be reported in a credit report by the credit bureau

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:you pretend I overpaid something and money is in envelope

I find it hard to believe that any one would just hang up on you. Please send any copies of flyers or mailers with offers for a cruise to ***. Also you can call me at ###-###-#### and I will answer any of your questions

First of all I am sorry that we were unable to help you because we want to close loans We send mailers to prospective customers because based on their credit we can save them money Based on your credit we could save you money and you were approved However, we do not know your
income or the vehicle that is going to be refinanced until you apply, even with the VIN For some manufacturers it doesnt even tell us the Trim level (ie XE, XLE, etc) so you were approved until we get all the options like leather, power windows, etc which increase the value of the vehicle. In your case, the loan to value (the amount owed compared to what the car is worth) is almost 170% Most lenders will not even do 150% because of the risk of default Therefore we were unable to help you at this time unless you were able to lower the balance owed by paying down your existing lienholder I know that is probably an unreasonable request but it is the reality of the situation As far as your data we will remove your name from any future mailers but for audit purposes I cannot remove your information Again I am sorry we couldnt help you and unfortunately no one wins in these situations

I'm afraid that there seems to be some confusion on the part of the business as to what they have or have not done For one, OpenRoad Lending DEFINITELY accessed my credit file before issuing the "decline" response OpenRoad Lending produced a .pdf letter that detailed why they were declining my application, and I have a copy of that particular letter both in physical and in electronic form if the Revdex.com needs to see it The letter confirms that in fact OpenRoad Lending accessed my credit file with Experian, even listing my credit score My concern at this point is that the company is attempting to have other lenders run my credit...over and over again...until they find some lender that will give us the loan I do NOT want this done multiple times! I have already asked this company through email and through the Revdex.com to instead rescind the other credit inquiries so that my credit score will not suffer There has already been a reduction in my score and further attempts by multiple other lenders will only continue to damage my credit This needs to stop.I assert once again that there seems to be more than just an opportunity to lend someone money, but it appears as if there has been an attempt to garner business for credit issues through a law firm I am asking again that OpenRoad Lending speak with Experian and whatever other credit bureaus they have worked with about removing the inquiry or inquiries since this appears to be more than just an offer for credit I can't afford to have multiple inquiries putting a dent in my score for the next two years STOP sending in inquiries and have any other lenders stop doing the same

First let me start by apologizing for a poor experience you had with our companyAfter reviewing your application, it appears that you were initially approved as you indicatedHowever, once we learned about your vehicle that you are refinancing, it was determined that you no longer qualifiedYour
initial approval was based solely on your credit but your vehicle also meet our guidelines (or newer, less than 100,miles and less than a 125% LTV meaning we will finance up to 125% of the value of the vehicle)In your case, the LTV is over 170% and therefore no longer qualifyWhen you completed your application with us you agreed to allow us to pass your information on to 3rd parties if we were unable to approve your application which is what we didI have now removed your information from any further marketing efforts per your request.Again, I am sorry for your poor experienceI hope we can earn your business sometime in the future.Regards,The OpenRoad Lending Team

First let me apologize by not being clear about our partner ***. I want to address each issue separately so I can be very clear1) The 5.45% was offered because you applied with Colorado as your state of residence and we could have offered that but you are a residence of Indiana.
We we are limited on our lenders in that State because of some of State's crazy laws. However we were able to get you approved by *** at 8.74%. This was 10% less than you were currently paying with *** ***. This still saved you thousands over the life of the loan2) *** is an A+ rated company and here is a link to their page (***). 3) *** is the online brand of *** *** ***. *** is the parent company and not unusual for a company to use one brand for online and one for offline. Here is a link to the about us in the second paragraph where it states this fact (***). Even the logo on the website says *** by *** ***4) Your loan will be serviced and maintained by *** and I assume the bureau will report as *** since they own the loan5) I have attached your NSA that you signed for $11,139.18. I also called *** *** and verified that they are processing a refund check of $and will be mailed by 12/8/17. You will be able to take this refund and apply to principal to bring down your balance. The reason for the large refund is probably because you made a payment after we got our payoff and the crossed in the mail. In the logo of the NSA that was signed it says *** by *** *** in the top right hand corner6) With all loans, not just this one, interest accrues from the moment the account is set up even if you "dont have to make a payment for 45, or days". Interest is always owed on borrowed money. The exception is the subvented financing by manufacturers but the price of the car makes up for the lost interest so you are always paying for borrowed moneyI do apologize that it wasnt made clear enough in the transition that *** is owned by ***. We will address with *** to change some of their transition documentation. We did address this same complaint over email with our President and over facebook but the facts are still the same

I am sorry we were unable to give you the rate on the mailer but we did cut your rate by over 4%The reason we couldn't offer you a lower rate is when we send our mailers we assume your loan to value (the amount you owe in relation to the value of that vehicle) is 125% or lessIn your case the
LTV was over 140%, making the loan a higher risk so we need to charge a greater rate. That is also the reason we tried to add GAP because it is good protection considering your loan to value is so high. We have since removed the GAP policy but the rate cannot change due to the high LTV

We have spoken with Ms*** and there is simply nothing we can do with her caseThe signed note and Security agreement (that she signed and submitted) did not have GAPI am sorry that we didn't add it but she has some responsibility to make sure that the paperwork is correct before and of course afterward but not years later after an accident has occurred

I am sorry but we gave you exactly what you requested. Removal of our inquiries and now you are asking for money. Unfortunately we dont do business that way and we were in the right on our rejection based on timing of your new accounts. We were trying to go above and beyond. I am sorry we cannot "pay" for this hustle

I am sorry we are unable to meet your request but we have approved your loan with savings plus I have offered to throw in GAP insurance essentially for free The incremental inquiries have not affected your credit in any fashion

Thank you for sharing your concernsFirst let me apologize for your poor experience with our company. The rate we provide to you in the mail piece is based on your credit profileThere are other factors that determine your final rateOne of those is the collateralIn your case, you owe more
on the vehicle than it is worth which prohibits me from providing you a better rate due to the increased level of risk associated with your loanWe reviewed the loan approval and based on your remaining term and us matching that term, you would save about $per month with our lower rate loanNot as significant as it could have been had your loan to value (the amount you owe vs what the vehicle is worth) had been under 100%. Also, when you submitted the application you agreed to allow us to pass your information along to other lenders to find you the best possible termsThose disclosures are below:By providing the information in this application and clicking on the "Click to Complete and Start Saving!" button and the “I Agree to these Terms and Conditions” box, the applicant and any co-applicant ("I," "me," and "my") each agree that: (1) I received and read the State Disclosures and the OpenRoad Lending Privacy Policy; (2) I received, read, and agree to the Consent for Electronic Disclosures and all other Terms and Conditions for this application shown above; and (3) I understand that I could have multiple inquiries on my credit report through this process and I am granting OpenRoad Lending and its partners permission to access my credit report to determine if I qualify for refinancing my existing auto loan, and (4) I provide express consent to receive autodialed/prerecorded calls/texts or live agent calls regarding financial services or other credit related offers from Credit Options, OpenRoad Lending or one if its third party lenders or affiliates at any number I have provided (consent to be contacted is not a condition to purchase services).Again, we are sorry for your poor experience and hope we can earn your business in the future

OpenRoad sent a blank applicationThey claim I filled out a complete application which I disputeI requested they send a copy of the application they claim I filled out and instead they send a blank app
