Junkyard Jungle, LLC Reviews (130)

Jungle Junkyard really was my savior this month!! The engine of my car was dead and I really didn’t know what to do. I don’t have a consistent mechanic and my partner was meant to deal with all of this stuff, but after we separated, I had no clue what I was meant to be doing. I didn’t have a contact for his mechanic, so I was stuck!

I knew I needed an engine and did a goggle search and came across these guys. They really talked me through everything and actually referred me to a reputable mechanic!

They went above and beyond for me and I really thank them for the extra mile! The process was so simple, they gave me quote pretty quickly and it was all sorted and paid for over the phone!

They even got the part sent to the recommended mechanic for me, and that all happen real fast too!

Great company that goes the extra mile for their customers!!

This is the first we have heard of the engine being the...

incorrect engine.  We shipped the customer a good, complete 2007 [redacted] 5.3L opt LC9 (to verify the 8th digit of the VIN is a *).  The shipper has verified (per the complaint) that the freight arrived.  The customer has everything they ordered.

Complaint ID: [redacted]  We still have not received the missing parts. We have tried calling Junkyard Jungle and my phone number is blocked. We would like to get a refund since the parts were not delivered.  Thanks, [redacted] Distinguished Contracting ###-###-####

A full and complete refund has been issued to customers card.  The engine did not arrive in a timely matter.  Full refund provided and customer was made aware 3.31.14 Please see documentation attached.

this response because:The engine was not delivered on the 19th or 20th.  My husband called the shipping company, [redacted], they said they had no record of an engine being shipped or anything going to [redacted] in [redacted], Ohio.

This place is a scam. All these "reviews" posted here read like TV advertisement testimonials. If you look at these "customer's" profiles you'll see that they post reviews from multiple places throughout the U.S. and even Europe. How interesting that these people have "homes" in 3 different states. Try reading these "reviews" out loud, and see how far you get before you notice that NOBODY outside of TV commercials talks that way.
You see their address listed as "[redacted] [redacted]"? It's listed as such on their website too, and if you look at the street view you'll see there is a U.S. Court House and Post Office there. Heck, I even went down to [redacted] [redacted]. personally to see if there indeed was a "salvage yard" right in front of the Alamo. Lo and behold, there was a U.S. Court & Post Office at [redacted] [redacted]. I even went around the block to see if Google was off, but nope! Just more U.S. Post Office and tourists, because the Alamo is right in front of the building 200 ft away.
So I can't visit this business in person (because they don't exist), maybe I could call them? Nope! When I called a bit after 9 AM (their listed opening time) I get a, "All lines are busy serving other customers, please leave a message". That's interesting how they are apparently are swamped with customer calls right as they open! What if I call later? I tried calling 4 different times throughout the day and still "All lines are busy". So I leave a voicemail, and to this day, 7 months later, never received a call.
I then had a theory: would their phones just ring endlessly on a day when they are closed? So I called after closing time and on the weekend... "All lines are busy"! Wow! So there is no difference in the calling response no matter the time of day!
What about email? I tried that too. I sent an email inquiring about an engine that I was interested in. I specifically stated the year, model, trim, and engine code that I was looking for. Then, a little over a week later, I finally get a response. The response basically was, "What year and trim is your car?" UGHH. Reminds me of scam phone calls that refuse to reveal their address or business name.

They are liars and take money from people and doesn't provide products Joey is a fake I paid $1900.00 for a Toyota 22re motor that has never been delivered no money refunded and then when you keep calling they blocked my number delighted my invoice and said they didn't have a record of it but my lawyer had a copy of them and he sent a letter to them that he never got a response to I even talked to a detective in San Antonio they didn't help ether so don't do any business with them there fake and will take your money and you won't get nothing but a empty wallet

Per customer request, a full and complete refund has been issued.  Thank you.  Please see receipt attached.

Our mechanic spoke with [redacted] mechanic.  We are not covering his "loss of oil pressure."  Per his mechanic "[redacted] is overly paranoid about the engine temperature and has been obsessing about this for 4 months now.  Different oil temperature and pressure is normal....

There is nothing wrong with his engine, per his & our mechanic.  No warranty coverage needed.  [redacted]
