I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
After weeks and numerous phone calls trying to figure out what was happening with my taxes, on 4/**/2016, I cancelled the service before I received another monthly fee. I had to file an extension for my personal taxes, and find another service to do my business taxes. Only when I asked for my money back did I get a response from someone at 1800ACCOUNTANT, offering to go ahead and do my taxes. It was too late. Then it was decided that they would give me $of the $865, and they would delete my information. So for $I received nothing from 1800ACCOUNTANT. I don't feel this was fair to me, at all.

Our records show that the client did not request cancellation until 3/*/which is after days and therefore makes the client ineligible for a refundHowever we can still fulfill the servicesThe client purchased Form filing service with us which can several weeks or months to process once filedThis Form also MUST BE filed before the client could complete the *** process that he purchased through *** ***As for the client's claim that a tax return was submitted for him without consent, we did not submit any documents to the IRS or any other government agency on the client's behalf especially with tax returns as the client did not hire us to prepare his tax returnPlease see attached screen shot of the client's purchased subscriptionWe request that this dispute be denied to the client at this timeWe appreciate your assistance in this matter. We have already resolved this with the client The client paid $to the finance company and we offered the client a refund of $which she accepted We then informed the finance company to refund that amount on 10/**/ The client should have already received the refund
back to her account If the client has not received the refund, we request that she contact us so that we can contact the finance company We appreciate your assistance regarding this matter

We have reviewed the clients file and according to our records, we have completed the client's bookkeeping, business and personal taxes The client was also assigned to a new accountant who he has communicated with three times in the past week Also customer service did inform the
client that his taxes may be filed late but the accountant assured the client that he still had time to file which is what we did Once the client's taxes were completed, the client stated that he was happy with the results At this time due to services rendered, the client is ineligible for a refund We do apologize for any inconvenience that the client may have experienced and we appreciate your assistance regarding this matter

of $29.99, the last one being 4/**/The confusion with this particular case is because most communication of tax related work we have fulfilled for the client has been directly with the client’s step-fatherClient’s stepfather has been communicating with their assigned accountant and seemed happy with the tax returns being prepared1-800Accountant has fulfilled and taxes for this client and we have continued to work with the client’s stepfather regarding income tax payments and estimated tax payments as well

This case has already been rectified as the client financed the charge of $and once cancelled within days, we informed the finance company to close the client's loan and to not charge the client This request was completed by the finance company on 2/**/and the client has no
current or future fees to pay since the loan is closed We appreciate your assistance regarding this matter

This client's tax returns have been completed at this timeWe have worked together with the client to complete these and I believe the client is satisfied at this point. Thank you, 1800Accountant

We have reviewed the clients tax organizer and the income that she claimed she reported is no where on the tax organizer We have no uploads or manual entries of the missing income and therefore can not be held responsible for her penalty fee with the IRS If the client has any support
showing she provided this information, we request that she provide it to us in order for us to further look into her case At this time, the client is ineligible for a refund We appreciate your assistance regarding this matter

Our records show this client started service with us 8/**/2015 and did not request cancellation until 4/**/2016. This client purchased a prepaid Tax Preparation service of which services were rendered. Due to the client's dissatisfaction with the length of time in which it took to complete the service we provided a refund of $300 in good faith. We did advise to the client that we were still able to continue fulfilling the service she paid for but she did not accept that offer and advised us to cancel her service and discard any work we rendered thus far on her taxes. We request that this dispute be denied to the client. We appreciate your assistance in this matter.  Thank you,  1-800 Accountant

We have reviewed the client account and want the client to know that he has not lost the service as his membership was cancelled due to the outstanding fees on his account.  We are more than willing to prepare the client’s taxes once the client provides his tax documents and completes his tax...

organizer.  If the client has already prepared his taxes outside of our firm, we are more than willing to rollover the unused tax preparation for next year.  In regards to the client’s penalty, we request that he contact us directly in order to review his penalty letter from the IRS but we did send an auto email to all clients regarding the tax filing deadline.  If the client has any other questions, please feel free to contact us.  Thank you for your assistance regarding this matter.

We have already resolved this dispute with the client and have issued a refund totalling $1092.  The client should have already received this cumulative credit as it was issued back in April.  If the client has any questions or needs any assistance, we request that she contact us directly....
