All refunds will be made using the same form of payment you used to pay the fees: If you paid via credit card, any refund will be credited to you the next monthly billing cycle following receipt of your cancellation notice. If you have paid any moneys your subscription Services will be considered activated. If you have activated the Services, you acknowledge that we will retain the first month's  charges. If you have purchased a service that requires your participation and we have yet to provide services you may request a full refundwithin 30 daysof activation. We may terminate all or part of your subscription with immediate effect and you will not be entitled to a refund, by giving written notice to you if you commit a material breach of any provisions of this Agreement, or a series of breaches of this Agreement, which when taken together amount to a material breach of this Agreement, provided that in the case of a breach, which is capable of remedy you fail to remedy the breach within fourteen (14) days of receiving a request to do so." Our records show that the client has not requested cancellation with us. The client's sign up date was 4/*/2016 which is after the 30 days which makes him ineligible for a refund. We suggest that the client follow up directly with us to find a resolution. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.  Thank you, [redacted]

We have reviewed the client's account and have determined that she is ineligible for a refund due to the fact that her account is over two years old.  At this time, the most we are willing to do is rendered the clients services as the client is well beyond our 30 day right to rescind timeframe....

If the client has any questions, please feel free to contact us. Thank you for your assistance regarding this matter.

We have reviewed the client's file and have determined that she is not eligible for a refund.  Our records show that we filed the clients personal taxes and also completed the clients business taxes.  The client's personal taxes were e-filed but we informed the client that her business...

return would have to be paper filed (mailed to the IRS). Since the work was completed, the client is no longer eligible for a refund. We do apologize for any inconvenience the client may have experienced and appreciate her patience.  If the client has any questions regarding her taxes, we request that she contact us directly.  We appreciate your assistance regarding this matter.

First we want to apologize to the client for any inconvenience she may have experienced but after reviewing her account, it looks like both her personal and business returns were prepared and filed.  The client’s membership also provides unlimited access to an accountant for questions but this...

portion of the service is rendered upon request and as the client stated, appointment were held for her.  Since services were rendered but there were a few missteps and the client was not fully satisfied, we are willing to offer the client a refund for just the monthly fees.  The client made seven payments of $29.99 which equates to a refund in the amount of $209.93.  As for the amount refunded on the client’s taxes that is based on numerous factors such as expenses, profits and losses and can only be fully determined once the client’s taxes are actually prepared.  We do inform client’s however that they can claim the amount paid to us as a business expense as long as their business is operational in the year that the service was purchased.  As stated above, we can understand the client’s frustration which is why we are extending a refund offer to her but services were rendered and/or available to her therefore a refund of the total investment will not be issued.  We appreciate your assistance regarding this matter and the client’s patience.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

When I first contacted 1-800 Accountants of the billing error, they offered no clarification of the error and stated that they would have a manager look into the refund process for me. However, my phone calls and emails were 100% ignored which was incredibly frustrating as a customer to receive that kind of service. I took the time to call and leave about 5 polite voicemails for an account manager named Issac who was the first to state that he would look into the matter and I never received any kind of contact back. My emails sent directly to their customer service email was also ignored. When I did get in contact with a temp customer service representative named Chris A[redacted], she was very kind to let me know that a manager named Tracy would call me later that day to discuss this billing error situation. I never received any contact back ever. After putting in all this time in attempt to receive a refund for services that were never rendered, but charged, I refuse to accept 1800's decision to purely reject my refund request off of what they believe was in their contract. My business purpose to utilize 1800 accountants were to simply have our federal taxes completed, but I NEVER ELECTED OR REQUESTED the additional services for which we were charged $149 and $29 for 10 additional months for services we DID NOT RECEIVE. I would like to have those charged refunded back to our account.

Good Afternoon,We have reviewed this client's account. Client requested to cancel services on July [redacted], 2017. When the client signed up for services with us, the cancellation and refund policy was stated. We take these matters very seriously and do review calls for quality and training purposes as...

stated on the call. We also state the terms and conditions, which includes the cancellation and refund policy, on the client's receipt as well. Since the client signed up on May [redacted], 2017 and had the first 30 days to decide if the service was a good fit for their business they were not issued a refund. This client did submit a charge-back and therefore we are unable to refund the client until charge-back procedures are followed. We understand that the client did not fully utilize our services and are willing to issue them a full refund. At this moment we can accept the charge-back if client agrees.

We offered the client a refund minus 15% even though he cancelled after 30 days and he declined the offer.  The client informed us that he will be contacting his attorney therefore this is no further recourse a a full refund will not be issued.  We have made a good faith effort to resolve...

the client's issue but the client stated that he will seek other means.  We appreciate your assistance regarding this matter.

Our records show that the total amount the client has paid is $1674.98. This amount includes the initial package price and the monthly member fees as well. The client submitted the necessary information to complete her tax return on 5/*/16. The tax return is currently being prepared at this time. We appreciate your assistance regarding this matter. Thank you, 1-800 Accountant

We have reviewed this client's account and have already discussed partial refund options with this client. We do have a 30 day cancellation procedure on our website and on the client's purchase receipt and this was discussed with the client during the sales process and cancellation process....

The first option is to cancel the client portal part of her package being that this is the only problem she has had with our service, and refund her $345 OR to cancel all services and refund her $492.50. Client needs to accept one of these options so we can proceed in the resolution of this complaint. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.  1800 Accountant
