First we would like to apologize to the client for his experience as there is no excuse for lack of communication.  In regards to the client's loan, the reason why the client was approved for $1890 exactly is because that is the amount that we informed Behalf that the client would need for our...

services.  Also please note that the client's membership does not include payroll as the client's membership is only for estimated tax payments, tax preparation and unlimited tax consulting.  Since minimal services were rendered (some of which are delayed tax prep"or rendered upon request "tax consulting") we are willing to offer the client a refund minus a 20% administrative fee.  Once the client accepts the offer, we will inform Behalf to refund 80% of what the client paid.  We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the client and we appreciate his patience and your assistance.

We have reviewed this complaint and have determined that this client is eligible for a partial refund. We do apologize that this was not a good fit for the client. Per our cancellation procedures client must cancel within the first 30 days of service in order to receive a full refund. This client's...

sign up date was 8/*/16 and the client provided notice of cancellation on 9/**/16. However due to this client's experience we were willing to work with the client on refund of all monies paid except for consultation fees. We have provided this client a refund before this complaint was filed on 9/**/16 of $1300.00. The client will see this refund back on the original method of payment in 3-5 business days. Because they failed to prepare my business taxes (and ignored my phone messages and emails requesting status), I ended up filing late and incurred a $390 penalty from the IRS.  They did nothing but cost me money.I insist on a complete refund of all fees paid.

We have reviewed this client's complaint and have determined that this has already been resolved directly with the client's business partner [redacted] who is the primary contact for the account. Justin spoke directly with the billing manager on 2/*/17 and resolved all complaints. The billing...

manager offered a refund of $1200. Justin stated that he would need to discuss with his business partner Katie and get back with us before accepting the offer. Justin got back to the billing manager on 2/**/17 to state that the offer was fair and he accepts the offer. The refund of $1200 was issued on 2/**/17. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:When my business tax return was "completed" by 1800 accountant, the initial result was that I owed about $1900 in taxes.  Luckily, I knew that was wrong, so I requested (then nagged, begged, and demanded) that they re-do the return.  It turned out when they redid them that I actually was due to receive a refund of several hundred dollars.  But wait.... that's not even the worst part!!!  The same thing happened when they did my personal taxes.  The first "completed" version of my personal return stated that I had to pay around $24,500 in taxes.  Luckily once again, I knew this couldn't be true.  So again.... I nagged, begged, demanded, called, emailed, begged some more, demanded again, and nagged a few more times.  Then once again, it turned out I was due a refund instead! The horrendous, sloppy, and unethical services that 1800Accountant provided would have cost me over $26,000!!!!  THAT'S TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Does this sound like an accountant you want to hire?!?  Just so I'm sure that I'm being clear about this.... I paid a professional accounting firm to do my taxes and help me get the refund that I am legally due to get from the government, and yet instead they told me I had to pay TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS.  And when I brought this to their attention, they were not expeditious nor helpful in correcting it.  I spent hours upon hours on the phone and through email nagging, begging, demanding, begging some more, pleading, and nagging again to get them to correct my returns. This is not an acceptable service.  Nobody should pay for an accountant to be this wrong, this unhelpful, and this Furthermore, I had to paper file both my own business taxes and my personal taxes.  Also, the business taxes were not completed on time.  And last, but not least, one of the accountants working on my taxes was fired.  In her own words, here's what she had to say:  "[redacted]"    [redacted]

We have already resolved this dispute with the client directly.  We have refunded the $695 that the client paid on 5/**/2016 and also sent the client confirmation of the files extension on 5/**/2016.  The client will see the credit of $695 on her card in the next 3-5 business days....

Since we did not prepare the client's taxes, we have refunded the $295.  Please allow 3-5 business days for that credit to post the client's card.  If the client has any questions, he can contact us directly.  Thank you for your assistance regarding this matter.

After review of this account we have determined this complaint was satisfied in April of 2016. This client was fully refunded and we are continuing preparation of her tax returns. This client was reassigned to a new accountant who has been a much better fit for this client as well. We do apologize...

for the delayed response however this cpomplaint has been satisfied. Thank you, 1-800 Accountant
