Good afternoon, After reviewing [redacted] , account we show that the MPplayer was issued on 4/24/ The manufacture warranty time frame for Michigan DOC is days from the date it is issued Our records show that MrDavis sent his player in to be reviewed on 5/29/and on 3/28/Access Corrections shipped the player back with a letter stating that we were unable to recover the player on 3/29/Access Corrections will attempt to recover any player purchased from Access Corrections free of charge no matter when the player was purchasedIf MrDavis would like for us to review the player again, please reference RA# *** Thank you The warranty covers software and function defects for the player or ear buds Physically damaged items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded When the player is examined by Access Corrections and found to be defective within the warranty period it will be replaced at no charge Warranty expiration dates vary by the DOC We appreciate MrDavis’s business and will continue to honor our commitment to provide the best customer service we can Thank you Thank you for choosing Access CorrectionsGCOMPLAINT ACTIVITY REPORT Case # Revdex.com Serving Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois Consumer Info: Forbes II, #664612, David Business Info: Access Catalog Co Caberfae Hwy Manistee, MI 49660- - - 925- Location Involved: (Same as above) Consumer's Original Complaint : I would like to file a report complaint on the MDOC and Access Corrections for selling us prisoners over priced products that are bad a faulty For the past six months I have been trying to get the address to the Revdex.com from our Law Library but of course the facility here doesn't like us inmates reporting the MDOC foul and corrupt business deals that take advantage of us prisoners and our families I finally got you guys address from my Father Since about the Gall of the MDOC as allowed us prisoners to purchase one band of MPPlayer through access corrections It is the MAPD MAXX 4GB and MAXX 8GB personal media play I bought the MAXX 8GB player for $plus the adapter for $15.90- so all together I spent $and I received it on may 2, The whole reason why I bought this product is because they claimed that it was a good product and both the MDOC and access state to us that we would have no problems with this product and we would be able to purchase any songs that we liked with no expectations and with no limitations for $a song (They lied) I only had my MPplayer for months when it started shutting down and would say disabled please connect to kiosk But when the officer here would connect it to the kiosk it wouldn't up load like it should So, I sent it back to access in Oct of and they inspected it and doing it to have a software malfunction They fixed it for free and apologized for any inconvenience and that I shouldn't ever have this problem again I got my MPplayer back in Jan 7, and seven months later on Aug 20, the software malfunction reared its ugly head and once again I must sent I back to them to fix the problems It sees that this product is really more like a $software infested device that is going to be a long term headache and rip off Now as for the songs, on March 1st or April 1st that MDOC and access both decided that we adults who are over the age of years old were unfit to buy or listen to any explicit songs So when we buy the song we like for the $1.48, we get a song that has a silence spots in the song where the curse word or derogatory phase was, which makes the song sound like crap or like your listening to a record/CD skipping Purchasing the songs are no longer for the $that we prisoners agree to with the claim that we could buy any song that we liked with no exceptions and with no limitationsOnce again they lied In closing, I would like to thank you and your staff for taking the time out to look over and read this long letter There is other issues I would like to rise on another totally different subject but I will rise that problem at another date and time For now this is the first that needs to be addressed and the prisoners here and our families look forward to any answers or solution that the Revdex.com can give us Your time in handling this is greatly appreciated by all of usPlease have a Nice and Peaceful day!!! We were out of stock for a while due to Timex discontinuing the style of Ironman watch that was offered We have brought in the replacement Ironman watch and are currently filling orders This issue has been resolved

Good afternoon,We, along with management,? have reviewed the issues the resident has presented.Concerning the name change, our system shows from the daily feed it receives from AK DOC that the name change hasn't been done on the facility's end.? Once the change has gone through on their end, it will come through the resident feed that we receive daily and display in our systemOnce this happens we can then address the issue further.Concerning transferring all music from an MPto a new Edge Mini tablet, all songs previously purchased may be downloaded onto the new player at no chargePlease note that only one device may be active at any one time.Concerning your music on your player, our system as of 5/30/shows that all songs except "Pain Killer" have been delivered and receivedOur system also shows that the song is available on the kiosk for downloading.Thank you

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I contacted ? the company first by phone and talked to a customer service repthey told me someone would call me back with an update; however two days after the attempted charge no one called back.I have contacted the company multiple times via email and received responses, see attached, the first few times they kept telling me that it is only a pending charge even though I kept telling them it moved from pending to paid.I responded to Access Corrections email requesting where they finally asked for the Access Corrections siID and credit card informationThat was the email response from Access CorrectionsAlong with that information they asked for copy of the item on the credit card bill which had cycled and that was sent to them as an attachment.In addition I have tried to purchase message plans on 9/11/and 9/15/Each time their system has a system errorBoth charges are currently still in Pending Status.In switching to a different credit card on the 9/11/I was able to get one attempt to processIt is like Russian Roulette to get Access Corrections system to process any credit cardGetting an "INFORMED" response from Access Corrections is even harder.If the two above charges do post (instead of dropping off) I will be adding those as NEW complaint's to the BBS.Since they have not as of yet ? credited my account I will start the dispute process with Visa.? It seems not only can Access Corrections not process charge; they also have a problem finding the records of phone and email contact with their company Sincerely, [redacted]
