I am not satisfied because they still have not contacted me. In their response they say I will hear back in 2-3 days. It has been more than 3 business days and they have yet to contact me. It has been just about one month since my initial complaint with this company and my "account exactituve" still hasn't called me back. I also went and payed the $1450.58 to pick up my car and the service manager Joe Defalco told me he told their representative that the clutch did not appear to have gone bad from normal wear and tear and that he thought it should be covered as a defect.

No one from KIA reached out to me but I did call them and talked to "[redacted]". [redacted] said he will reqeust an $25 gift card to be sent to me in 4-6 wks. I think this case should stay open until I receive my gift card. This is not the first time that KIA promised me that a gift card will be sent but nothing happen afteward.

message is but I spoke with Travis Widener of KoA on Monday, October 17, 2016.  I was informed that he had been removed from my case because it had been escalated higher than him.  With that in mind, I am in agreement with speaking with whoever is handling my case as of today's date and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, depending on the outcome will determine if this complaint resolved or not.

[The exact issue that happened with my car is the reason why all these other kias are being recalled. With the “escalation rep“ Lael that was assigned to review this case, he couldn’t tell me why this was not part of the recall and outright refused to give me his supervisor or a name of someone in the legal department. If someone can’t tell me WHY my car isn’t part of the recall and took customer service almost 2 weeks to respond with they can’t help me, why should I accept this and an answer I was never actually given??]
