Kim's Florist Reviews (164)

I too had a horrible experience with this business. Ordered flowers online believing it was a local company in West. St. Paul, MN. Ordered flowers for a friend who is a Korean War Veteran and wanted them delivered on Veterans Day. Got acknowledgement and confirmation # after I provided my credit card #. Then next day got email saying my order was being refunded. The flowers were never delivered. Have called the business after locating only a 1-800 # for them, left numerous messages along with email messages. Have not gotten a response back at all. I did get a refund on my credit card statement, but now am very concerned that they have my credit card #. Believe this is a total scam and that there is no legitimate business. Please DO NOT have any thing to do with this alleged company.

I ordered flowered on there website to surprise my 84 year old mother from her daughter and grandchildren for Valentines Day. It was on Thursday early and Valentines was Sunday. Will to make a long story short my Mom never got her flowers or box of candy. I called them lots of times know one answered the phone also emailed. They could have called me or my mom because I included both numbers. But they billed me. Worst experience I have ever gone through.. I was so hurt it was supposed to be something special..then I contacted my bank to file a complaint. They shouldn't be in business!

I won't bother reciting my story because it is pretty much identical to everyone else's on here. I filed a complaint with the FTC today and I'm hoping they shut these scammers down. How they are allowed to remain in "business" is beyond me and you would think that after so many negatives reports on Revdex.com, someone would take action. I'm going to do all I can. They claim to be "family owned" but it's not possible to be in practically every state and be family owned. How they are allowed to show up in local searches representing themselves as delivering to a specific town is a mystery. Please, everyone, contact the FTC complaints and file one against these people. They need to be shut down and arrested.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service. The advertising makes it look this a family run business in the local area (central Florida) as does the outgoing phone message. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my mother for her birthday and received a confirmation of the order and then within the next minute I received a confirmation that the charge was refunded but would take 5-7 days to show up. I tried to no avail to find out why through email on their system andby replying to the confirmation they did send as well as left several phone messages for an explanation. NOTHING. No flowers - NO explanation. Now I just hope that they follow through with a credit on my card. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE. I wonder if the whole operation is a scam...I googled florists in my mother area & this got high marks although they probably placed their own rating. Very disappointed at the unprofessional way of handling my inquiries - by not handling them at all!

resolved.
Thank you so much for your efforts on my behalf.  It is truly appreciated.
Kim’s Florist has credited my account for the  amount of purchase, and I am grateful for that.  However, they have never contacted me or responded in any way to  inquiries which does not say much for their customer service.  Be that as it may—this incident is now resolved.  Thank you again.
Sincerely,

Kim's Florist is one to Never use!
Ordered beautiful arrangement ($70) and the flowers were ugly and nothing like the picture on the website! They do not even do the work, they give the order to another florist and they make half the money and the florist fills the order for less than half the fee...results is you get a cheap ugly arrangement using old flowers! Scam

I ordered flowers to be delivered on Valentines Day for my sweetheart. The website they in that town. I ordered them Feb. 8th. When they sent me my order form, they charged me a $3.95 sales tax. Oregon does not have a sales tax. I tried repeatedly calling leaving messages and emails wanting a refund for the sales tax. They never replied. Today was valentines day and my sweetheart never received any flowers at work. I called my credit card company and they are pulling the payment. I will also be filling with the Revdex.com in Oregon.

Review: bouquet ordered arrived a week earlier than delivery date on order form and bouquet did not contain birds of paradise flowers which are the main focal flower of this particular bouquet advertised on their website. Paid a higher price for these specific flowers and they were substituted for a less expensive Callalilly.

Arrangement arrived with browning flowers and a full week early.

Have left several phone messages since they never answer the phone and left three emails with customer service amd no response from company.Desired Settlement: REFUND IMMEDIATELY.

Review: I ordered flowers for my dear aunt's funeral that took place in Maumee, OH. After arriving at that funeral home and looking for the flowers I had ordered and didn't see them, I immediately called the number on the website. I got a recording and left my phone number and message that my flowers had not arrived, but I did not have the order number with me. I did not get a return call, so when I returned home from the funeral, I again called the company and again I had to leave a message, however, this time I gave the order number along with my phone number for them to call me back so that I could be sure I wasn't being charged for flowers that weren't delivered. I never received a call back and in fact I never had received a confirmation e-mail saying I had ordered the flowers or a confirmation that they had been delivered! I again called the company after receiving my credit card statement and seeing I had been charged for the flowers. The representative looked up the order and said it had been delivered by [redacted] Florist and that I would need to take the matter up with them. They were able to look up the order and said they had delivered it to the funeral home I had specified and sent a confirmation to Kim's. I have a very hard time believing this as it was a very small funeral (family only) and I never saw the arrangement I ordered! I decided this time to e-mail Kim's with my dissatisfaction of never receiving a confirmation e-mail or a delivery confirmation and that no one had called me back. It feels like I am now caught in a "he said she said" argument and I have no documentation that the flowers were actually delivered! Needless to say after sending the e-mail their site says that someone would get back with me shortly. It has now been 3 days and I haven't gotten any response. I will definitely never be doing business with this company again.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my money back due to the lack of customer service from this company. I immediately called after not seeing the flowers at the funeral home and no one even called back to guarantee me they were there!

Review: I ordered flowers online from their website, they did not arrive. I have left 3 voicemails over the past week and sent 2 emails. None of which have been answered. I have also called several other times through out the day with no answer at the 1800 number they list.Desired Settlement: I would be happy with a refund personally, but at the amount of complaints I have read about them their website also needs to be shut down.

Review: I ordered Flowers to be delivered the same day as ordered and paid the price for such. They were to be delivered to the Hospital to my brother. I ordered them on the morning of the 26th of January 2016. Since then I have called the number 8 different times (it's only an answering machine) and left messages for them to call me. I left my name, phone number and order number for quick referral. I have never heard from them. I also filled out their online "Contact Us" form 6 times and received no response.

Today, on the 28th of January, I decided to call my bank and I filed a complaint against them. I also thought I'd let the Revdex.com know that this Business is not legit and is taking people's money and NOT fulfilling their obligations.

They took me for $80.92 as I wanted a nice gift for my brother that has been in the hospital for over three weeks to cheer him up.

[redacted], WADesired Settlement: I want Kim's Florist to Refund my money and possibly explain WHY they are portraying False Advertisement

Review: SCAM and FRAUD! This website is set up such that if someone were to Google "Des Moines florist" it would appear at the top of the results and would put "Serving Des Moines" on the front page, making it appear that the business is located in the city you search for, while they actually are located somewhere in California. I highly doubt there is even a florist behind this scam. The phone number is never answered, but rather has a message stating that "All florists are busy" and you will never get a call back. They charged my credit card over $45 for a floral arrangement that never arrived, and never will. I will be disputing the charge on my card, but this website and outfit should be SHUT DOWN.Desired Settlement: This website should be shut down, and the people behind it prosecuted for THEFT.

Review: I ordered the "Beautiful in Blue" arrangement to be delivered on June 23, 2015 in Decatur Illinois for a service that was to begin at 10 a.m. I called at about 9:30 a.m. on June 23rd to let them know that I did not receive what I had ordered. I e-mailed later that afternoon after not receiving any reply.

I told them that I did not receive the "cobalt blue vase" that I was supposed to, they sent a clear plain vase. The "white lillies" they advertise had so much purple on them they did not go with the arrangement. The "blue hydrangea" were the palest blue I have ever seen. And that the arrangement was half greenery. (The quoted items are actually part of their website's descriptions."

To date I have not received any reply. I have called and left a message because every time I have called I was told "all customer service representatives are assisting other customers." I have called on June 23rd at about 9:30 a.m., 29th at about 10:30 a.m. and 30th at about 6:51 p.m. I have e-mailed on June 23rd, 24th, 27th, 30th and again today, July 5, 2015.

I have advised them I want a check for $55.15 which is the price of the arrangement and tax. I have also advised them that I was not requesting the $14.99 delivery fee.

I have included all information that they would need to get in touch with me including the order number, my phone number, my name and my e-mail address, requesting all correspondence to be done by e-mail. They will not respond.

I have also advised them that I am considering contacting my attorney. But upon reflection I decided to try this route first.Desired Settlement: Since I have been trying for almost two weeks now to get them to contact me, I am requesting a desired outcome (refund price of arrangement and tax) as soon as possible by check.

Review: I ordered an arrangement of flowers for my niece, who was in a car accident, from the Kim's Florist location advertised from Selma, TX. on January 22, 2016. They were never delivered. I have called three times and left messages on their answering machine. I have completed their contact form and have not heard anything even though they claim to contact you right away. I also sent an e-mail to their advertised e-mail address, but it was returned as "invalid address". It is like dealing with a black hole--impossible to speak with a human being. On January 26, 2016 I sent a contact form and left a message asking that my order be cancelled and my charge card credited. Nothing has happened. My niece did not receive her flowers, and I am out $50. I filed a consumer protection complaint, and no matter what avenue I pursued I could not find a street address for Kim's Florist in the San Antonio, TX area--it keeps referring to this California address. It is maybe a franchise--I am not sure. However, this has left me disappointed, frustrated, and fearful of ordering flowers online. If I do order flowers in the future it will definitely not be from Kim's Florist.Desired Settlement: At this point I would just like my charge card credited and to put this whole fiasco behind me.
