Review: wish to file a complaint against Kim’s Florist in Carson City, Nevada.

On 1/20/16 I placed an online order for flowers to be delivered to a sick friend in Carson City on 1/23/16. The amount is $64.74.

They never acknowledge receipt of my order; they do not return phone calls (I made at least 3); they do not respond to emails (a sent at least 3).

I have canceled the order twice — both by phone and emails. No response.

However, today I noticed that they did charge my bank (Capital One) for $64.74.

I immediately filed a dispute with Capital One and requested not to pay this merchant.Desired Settlement: What else can I do? These people ought to be reprimanded at the very least to clean up their act if they want to stay in business.

I noticed that many similar complaints have been filed by other customers against this merchant.

Thank you.

This review is coming from a florist that receives the orders from Kim's. They often do not supply the adequate information for delivery purposes making it difficult if not impossible to complete the floral orders they are sending to me. When we ask for additional information they rarely respond or respond with a very rude answer. I often wonder what happens on the customer end - I think by reading the reviews left it is not a positive flower buying experience. I would recommend calling your local florist over Kim's!

Review: I wanted to order flowers for my friend, expecting them to get to my friend as stated within the alotted time frame between 8-5PM. So I went online and Kim's Florist popped up. BIG MISTAKE! I sent these to my friends work. I didn't get an email or message saying these were delivered by the 5PM time frame so I tried to contact the company in every way possible (email, phone, online account). The phone just rang off the hook and no one ever answered. The account questions were never answered, however the email was. I contacted them to refund my order and they were very vague about the information they gave me. I gave them my order ID and had to ask what the status of my request was. All of a sudden I receive two emails stating my order has been delivered. Great! it's been delivered to her work at 7PM at night where no one is going to get to it overnight and it's going to freeze to death, but in the information the corporate business deliveries are to be dropped off by 5PM.Desired Settlement: I would like a full 100% refund of the order totaling 86.34. The flowers have gone to waste, and I've had a terrible customer experience through this whole time.

Review: I purchased a floral arrangement on Monday September 14, 2015 that was pictured on their website and was charged $117.66 which included an additional $10. fee for extra flowers. I received a photo via text message and a thank you from the recipient of my gift and was shocked at what they sent. It truly is not worth more than $10. and did not resemble in any way the arrangement I purchased. It wasn't even arranged professionally. I have sent 3 emails and called many, many times over the past two days to no avail. They do not answer their phones and are simply a scam.Desired Settlement: I wish to receive a full refund for this purchase. They stole money through their dishonest business practices and I seek reimbursement. I would have been satisfied if they would make some offer to re-send exactly what I ordered, however, their silence is deafening. There are numerous complaints against this company for the very same practices. I want to warn the public about this scam so others don't fall prey to their scam. Thank you.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service. The advertising makes it look this a family run business in the local area (central Florida) as does the outgoing phone message. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my mother for her birthday and received a confirmation of the order and then within the next minute I received a confirmation that the charge was refunded but would take 5-7 days to show up. I tried to no avail to find out why through email on their system andby replying to the confirmation they did send as well as left several phone messages for an explanation. NOTHING. No flowers - NO explanation. Now I just hope that they follow through with a credit on my card. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE. I wonder if the whole operation is a scam...I googled florists in my mother area & this got high marks although they probably placed their own rating. Very disappointed at the unprofessional way of handling my inquiries - by not handling them at all!

Review: I found this florist when I googled a florist in lake havasu AZ. I ordered flowers to be delivered the same day. My debit card was charged the purchase price, but the flowers were never delivered. When I call the business, I only reach an answering machine.Desired Settlement: To have the full amount of my purchase returned to me

Review: I ordered flowers 12/19/15 at 10:42 am to be delivered for a birthday. The amount was deducted from my account (46.38) on 12/19/15 and the flowers were never delivered. I have attemped to contact them but only get a recording. I've left detailed message and received no response.Desired Settlement: I would like a full and complete refund of the funds dducted from my account for services they did not provide.

Review: On June 16th, I ordered flowers to be delivered to a funeral home in MA. I searched for a florist in Melrose, MA, and Kim's Florist came up as Kim's Florist, Melrose so I assumed that the business was there. I was charged $70.14 and the flowers were never delivered. The funeral home confirmed that they did not receive them and that they have never heard of this florist. My friend also confirmed that they did not receive the flowers. I have made several phone calls to the 800 number and nobody ever answers. I have also sent emails with no response. My friend emailed them to confirm that the flowers were not at the funeral home and she received a call telling her that the flowers were delivered but "my name wasn't on the card." They kept all of the cards and have none without a name on them. It's clear that I was ripped off. After researching this further, I find out that this company isn't local but out of CA. I demanded a refund for this and I get no response. I would like the Revdex.com to conduct an investigation into this company that is stealing consumer's money and not delivering the product. I will fight this until I receive a full refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund in the amount of $70.14 credited back to my Visa, as well as an investigation of this company to determine it's legitimacy and integrity. Thank you so much for your assistance.

Review: I ordered a floral arrangement for a funeral to be delivered same day, 11/2/15. The arrangement was never delivered and my credit card was charged in the amount of $73.38. I received a confirmation email and order number ([redacted]). I have contacted the company by both their website (x3) and have left them 4 voicemails.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded

Review: I placed a delivery on Monday, August 3rd with Kim's Florist for same day delivery. I was never issued any confirmation and the flowers were never delivered to the hospital.

I was charged $73.38 USD

The recipient is now out of the hospital, which would make delivery useless. I have called EVERY DAY for the last 10 days but not once has anyone answered. I have contacted them twice through the contact form on their site. Emailed them. Left two voicemails with my number and also my confirmation number. It has been absolutely impossible to get in touch with Kim's Florist, as no one has called me back or emailed me back.

My order number is #[redacted].

I am seeking a full refund.Desired Settlement: Full refund for $73.38 USD

Review: I placed on order online for flowers to be delivered to Baldwin, KS. My credit card was charged, but the flowers were not delivered. After trying over 20 times to call them, I realized they only have an automatic answering service that never calls back, because this is a scam business. After sending a dozen emails to them I got a response saying "delivery confirmed" but the flowers were not delivered, and when I asked for proof of delivery (i.e. a signature of receipt) they did not reply. This is a fraudulent business that needs to be shut down.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund for the amount charged on my credit card.

Review: I purchased flowers for my best friends birthday, the webpage said they were local for a the city my friend lives in. I purchased flowers and my card was charged $64.74. When I logged back into my account around 8:00 at night it stated that I was refunded but never received a call explaining why. My credit card has not been refunded, my friend didn't receive flowers and you can't get ahold of a human being! I will be disputing the charge on my account! This place needs to be shut down, especially after reading all the complaints filed on here!

Review: I ordered flowers online to be sent to the funeral home for my grandmother's funeral. I received a confirmation statement. Then at 3:43 AM the day of the funeral, I received an email saying the order had been refunded and cancelled. Unfortunately I didn't see it until it was too late to have other flowers delivered. So no flowers at my grandma's funeral! When I looked at the Revdex.com, I see that this bogus business has done similar things to many other people over the last few months. I fell for a scam. When I called to talk to someone, I got the same recording that others mentioned. No explanation, no returned call. I called to cancel my credit card, but I don't know yet if they really refunded my money when they cancelled my order without reason.Desired Settlement: I want to make sure there are no more charges on my card from this business and that there really is a refund for the flowers that were never delivered.

Review: Kim's Florist advertises one style of flowers on their website. It contains a high amount of pink roses, Asiatic lillies and other flowers that was the sole reason why it was purchased.

However, upon receiving a photo of the arrangement, it looked NOTHING like the picture. It was smaller, contained a large amount of green Angelica and resembled nothing like the photo. On top of that, they are advertising they're a Richmond Canada local florist, yet when we were billed, we were charged in USD. I complained, and they since added a USD tag at the bottom of their website but not prominent enough, considering they say everywhere they are a Canadian based florist.Desired Settlement: They did deliver some flowers, however not what they were advertising they would send. For this reason, I would like half the cost of the flowers and delivery, service fee refunded. A total of $25.00

I placed an order for 2 poinsettia's 12/15/15. The flowers were delivered the next day and one of the plants died the next day. I have called the company numerous times, only to get their voicemail box. I left 3 voicemails and sent customer support 2 emails advising I wanted a refund. It has been over 12 days since my first contact and no one in the company has responded. Absolutely the WORST customer service.

Review: On October 23, 2015, I ordered 'She's Lovely' flower arrangement online from my home in Maryland for an aunt who lives in Georgia. That night and the next day, I sent emails to confirm my order was received and when I did not hear back, I became concerned that my aunt would be discharged so I called a local florist names [redacted] Florist Gift Shop on 201a [redacted] Georgia. When I began to tell Mr. [redacted] what I wanted on the card he recognized the same words from an order he has filled that day. Mr. [redacted] stated he had the order and had just fixed it for delivery. He delivered the flowers the same Saturday afternoon. At 3:11 pm on October 24th, I received a text message from my aunt's son with the picture of the flower arrangement. It was absolutely 100% NOT what I ordered! Online 'She's Lovely' was filled the dark pink and light pink roses all over (maybe 13 to 16), very few dark pink small flowers, and what I think may be a few baby's breath that you could barely see in the arrangement due to due to the high number of roses, and a beautiful light pink ribbon with white polka dots, in a white basket. I paid $94.98. But what my aunt received was a different looking white basket that was not pretty, a bunch of green fillers, DAISIES, and only about 6 roses. The arrangement looked nothing at all like what I ordered and I want a refund. I called to speak with Mr. [redacted] again and left a message that day when no one picked up. I left a message the next day and filled out and sent a form to Kim's Florist as well . However, no one bothered to call me back. It's been over 2 weeks and no one has responded. It feels like I've been duped! The advertising practices of Kim's Florist should be investigated because if consumers are paying this kind of money for flowers and getting the kind of flowers that my aunt got, this is tantamount to stealing money from people. To make matters worse, they did not even attempt to try address my concerns. This is false advertisement!Desired Settlement: I want my money back! Every penny! I would be happy to provide a picture of the floral arrangement I ordered so you can compare it with a picture of the one my aunt received.

Review: I ordered a birthday bouquet to be sent to my 80 year old cousin on her BIG DAY! and find when I get home later in the day that my order "status has changed". They are refunding my money(5-7 business days...didn't mind taking it in seconds), my order has been cancelled! NO FLOWERS were sent and it was too late to reorder them. They were expected by 3 this afternoon. VERY BAD BUSINESS. I can't get the time or day back and it's a very disturbing development. I called the 800 number but was told..."all designers are busy right now, leave a message!"This kind of "business" needs to be addressed.Thank you.Desired Settlement: I want to hear from someone, other than a "designer" and I want some kind of restitution. I want my money refunded ASAP and I want the business to get a report.

I am stunned after reading these reviews! I too ordered, upgraded, paid and viewed a picture of the arrangement that my daughter received....IT WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE IN COLOR, SIZE AND FLOWERS!!! What's up here??? I am so angry! I paid $80.02 dollars for the arrangement I chose! I too called the 1-800 number numerous times , also e-mailed the contact on their web site....No response. I am not waiting around to get one either. According to everything I could find on line...which wasn't much, this Kim's Florist is located in Irvine, CA. Same phone number listed on web site. I contacted the Orange County, CA "DA" and am filing a fraud complaint against Kim's Florist. I would urge all who have encounter Kim's Florist to do the same. www.orangecountyda.com / (714)834-3600. You will be able to print off the forms you need. My expectation is that I would be fully reimbursed my $80.02. Thank you "Revdex.com" for providing all these reviews. My regret is that I didn't check first. Flowers...who would have thought there would be a scam for that?!

Review: Product delivered was not the product that was ordered or advertised. Product delivered was not something I would choose or wanted to order. Product was of lesser quality and value and could be purchased locally without additional fees and for a lessor price. Company does not answer the phone, e-mail, or even their own support return request forms. I attempted three phone messages (as they do not answer) three e-mails and three return forms with no response from this company. Per review, they have multiple complaints with no response or resolution. This seems to be a scam. I have filed this complaint as well as filed a dispute with my credit card company for the charges due to the item being incorrect and their lack of appropriate response. I've been informed they respond to those with vigor.Desired Settlement: Refund or delivery of the correct item at no charge

On Friday, Feb 26 I ordered Flowers to be sent to a funeral service on Monday, Feb 29. when selecting the date for delivery and going forward the date defaulted back to Feb 26. It happened twice before I submitted when I changed the delivery date back to Feb 29, it worked however, when I received the confirmation it was defaulted back to Feb 26. In my order it stated what time to delivery the flowers and the address. Immediately receiving confirmation of this I called their **SSN**8 to speak with some but unfortunately no one was available so I left a message as it stated that's what I should do. Since this was something important due to the date of delivery I then emailed them from their website explaining the situation and to correct delivery date. this is was all done in the morning of Feb 26. I never heard back so I called again in the afternoon same thing had to leave messages again. I am still not happy. A collegue of ours passed away suddenly and the flowers were for him. Monday morning came and still no word so I called again and left a message and followed up with an email giving them a stern request to get back to me before 3:00 pm on Monday 2/29 and I never heard back. Still made one last attempt even though it was past the funeral time. The next morning I received an email all it said was "Order 19589 refunded" It may take up to 5-7 days for the refund to show on the account. I contacted American express fraud department to report this. There was no explanation as to what happened, no one ever called me back. I sent them two more emails asking them asking why no response and never got one and never received a call. this really upset me as there was no time to call other florist in the area to make a delivery, I didn't want to get doubled billed. Not a happy camper and I did tell them they have the worse customer service I have ever and will not ever use them nor refer to. Thank you
