I'm sorry the stop was never put thru the system when they called you in May. I have taken care of the balance and you do not owe anything

Our newspaper automatically renews, as do most newspapers, and now many magazines It states on every invoice above the remittance portion to call us if you wish to cancel. We also made several attempts to contact this customer, if we cannot we ask a collection agency to attempt
contact. The paper was delivered in good faith to this customer as it has been for years If a customer does not notify us that they wish to cancel, the distributor would have no way of knowing the stop the deliveryWe do not have a policy to just stop a customer's paper as soon as they start owing money, much like utility companies do not. Because this customer has been with the company for years, we continued to deliver, as there as no reason to stop, because we were NOT NOTIFIED The balance is owed

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint because the Plain Dealer failed to produce any evidence of legitimacy of its demand. Nevertheless, I would like to proceed as follows: (1) Request a bill from the Plain Dealer to pay the balance of $(2) Request to cancel any future deliveries of the P.D(3) Request Revdex.com to keep this complain on file noting that I am extremely dissatisfied with the resolution and have submitted a complain to the Ohio’s Attorney General office to farther pursue this matter

I do apologize for the confusion of the reps you spoke with. I did clear the balance and you do not owe anythingYou shouldn't receive anything more from collections
I do show your mom's account was stopped as well and a refund should be mailed in the next couple weeks of $

I do apologize that you were told you would not have to call when your subscription was up. That is our practice and it always has been. Your start date was 9/11/and it was stopped 12/11/16. That would be a total of papers at $which comes out to $25.87. I do see
however the balance was taken care of on 4/26/so you do not owe anything at this time. We are/were doing system cleanup and it was handled.
